The entirity of how this game works from the mechanics, layout of the maps, perks, ranking system, emblems... it all needs to be rebalanced, which I believe they are slowly working on. It's a live game, so a lot of the time these problems cannot be addressed as quickly as others would like.

yes, it's "get 5 gold or better gatekeeper emblems" , but unlike the unbroken one..this is actually possible to do.

according to the wiki, you get points based off how long you have been alive and how many times put into the dying state, with the goal to get as few points as possible. it stops counting at 799 (540 seconds alive). so even if you escaped at this point and had never been put in the dying state the max you get is 799…

ok. that makes sense..except that it's still requiring you to escape.. so why not just say "escape 5 x". a bit odd considering there's literally an "escape 3 times" challenge..

also, it seems a bit harsh for the first challenge of level 3 of tome 2 to be "escape 5 times" for survivor. A bit outdated I guess, but I'm going through the old tomes while I wait on the new one.

anyway. I appreciate the conversation. but thankfully one of the wonderful mods here provided a solution to my problem. I switched to google dns and the game works flawlessly now (barring the current ongoing issue). I didn't have to upgrade my ssd, get better internet or stop playing on a potato. 😀

okay..and when i get into the game..which i am right now I get nothing. no 50k bloodpoints, no daily login reward. I try to enter a match and it says "failed to create party" as soon as I click on play killer/play survivor.

i just keep getting "initialization error" over and over and over and over.

welp, all i've gotten is squat , immediate disconnect from game and game crashing.

guessing the event has not started yet since there isn't even an active bloodpoint boost as per the norm.

unless the rewrds are the "failed to create party" "initialization error' "failed to connect to server"
