i would LOVE trap focused skull merchant so much, i want them to focus on it cause it works with her lore wise and it’s so sexy pulling it off
-
The most ironic thing is that people are still probably gonna hookicide against her for the dumbest reasons even though she’s a worse legion with these changes. Genuinely she’s a bottom 5 killer now, arguably like worst killer in the game cause she doesn’t have insane map pressure cause the drones are ALWAYS active so…
-
i think that and also give her another small compensation and she’ll be fine. Since the hinder is only 5% and she has no more haste, she’s just legion but worse. Give her some better stealth or improve the trapping playstyle in some way.
-
you do realise how painful this feels for the innocent skull merchant mains right, imagine Huntress mains got to hear she only gets 2 hatchets now and throwing hatchets now has 15 second cooldown before she could throw another. And the reason for those changes would be that she has a high kill rate or winrate. Let us cope…
-
Twins and Artist get giga screwed by it, not being able to switch to victor in time or having to crow snipe around 4 seconds later is extremely hindering on those killers (whom i play often)
-
I get that the survivor isn’t considered dead by the game but this would literally require like 2 minutes of coding to solve, why does a killer get punished for getting a kill. (also i feel like pyramidhead could really use that feature tbh)
-
The map feels awful to play on both sides ngl, on killer it feels atrocious because there’s so much empty extra space you may need to walk around in because of how big it is (the very large size of the main building also doesn’t help with this), finding people on this map is an absolute nightmare. meanwhile as survivor,…

I agree with this it’s so helpful and nice, it helps me spot a vault out of the corner of my eye, but there are still annoying people that i’ve seen dislike this cause it “removes skill” which is an odd statement.
-
I agree with this statement, what i probably could’ve explained better is their release bias (cause Bias post release doesn’t exist cause sales are sales). Vittorio and Sable get greens and 2 purples day one. Lyra siblings and Gabriel get one purple each with no greens
-
Tbh i do agree with this statement i can’t lie, i stand by this and agree but a character not having their first post launch skin for 10.5 months i find a bit odd. What i also find odd is how BHVR gives certain characters nicer treatment on release than others, which kinda makes it seem like half the survivors made today…
-
i rarely even see skull merchant, even when i do i usually get pretty chill ones. I mostly play Merchant and when i do i either run meme builds or i play her like a glorified trapper, if people DC or give up, i let the few who still try to play normally go and escape, it’s cute and sad seeing 2 survs just barely trying…
-
i get wanting to make her less frustrating to play against but these changes would make her abysmal to play, i agree with the Recall prevention and Lock-on removal changes, but the rest of these are just unnecessary nerfs to a perfectly average killer. i already run meme builds on her just so i hope the survivors can…

slowdowns have been the best perks for a while now, reason being is because it’s consistent on all killers and the killer side doesn’t exactly have many perks that help in chase. The best one being STBFL but that got nerfed (I get why but still says a lot since that was like really the only good consistent one). Killers…
-
it isn’t broken but it’s kind of an unhealthy/controversial perk. It just makes weaker aura read perks even weaker but the actually good aura read perks kinda just chomp through it (Nowhere to hide is the biggest example, UW also doesn’t work with distortion).
-
never said UW or Nowhere to Hide are fair!!! Those perks are overtuned too. Distortion just kinda makes most other aura perk’s MUCH weaker because none trigger as frequently as those 2. As for Lethal pursuer i get it stings to get revealed at the beginning but i feel changing that perk is a bit hard as it is mainly useful…
-
i like this gen progress idea actually, would encourage players using it to hide less and i guess still make it valuable to those stealth players. also yes i agree if it were only chase time the time required for each token would be reduced (cause in general chases already hardly function plus it’s a harder requirement).…
-
before they added the 1 hour match i had 3 matches i remember fondly going over an hour long. Once i was playing plague and the survs were litterally allergic (pun unintended) to gens i kept patrolling for minutes upon minutes, it took atleast 75+ MINS. another match i was playing dead dawg saloon (dont remember as who,…
-
Any means and Alert also tell you if a pallet has been thrown down though (any means shows dropped pallet aura’s, Alert gives a sound queue and aura for a pallet or a gen is kicked). WoO is just an easier to use, less effective alternative but it’s not an awful choice, especially with your point about the map reworks, it’s…
-
Idk i tried to warn people about singularity 3 genning but they called me delusional
-
I want variety as much as the next person but i find being able to guarentee a pallet save from over 20 meters away slightly ridiculous. I genuinely think instead if they made the duration like 10 seconds or something you could buff it without it being atrocious to play against.
-
Well the reason people didn’t use it over the others is because of how extremely niche it was, now with it giving you double speed it can lead to the lower tier killers being bullied while the perk still does nothing against the better killers. Could just be doom saying and overreacting tho.
-
Tbh i think that aswell, maybe im overreacting but i still think it’s kinda risky doing such a big change without testing it first.
-
He isn’t a failed killer design, he’s just ridiculously difficult for the average players. So while you wont see him much he is decently well designed.
-
No tbh, i think the reason people haven’t been enjoying it is cause they’ve played it too much. Taking a small break or playing something else really helps with your overall enjoyment (personally have done the same). i also think some people have refused to adapt cause people have just gotten better at the game over time.
-
Skull Merchant is probably the original killer that could benefit from voice lines the most. She could have the most perfect ######### talking and cheesy reference lines (since she’s basically a weeb). Like her voice line potential is insane. also indeed hoping they focus on her chase more, but then again, i’m also praying they…
-
killer’s with actual anti-loops and fun brain plays while in chase. I’d rather go against a god tier Nurse cause atleast she’ll stick chase (and the match will end quickly). idc if I get a million Weskers because Wesker is fun I want to think smart and predict in chases, hence I’m usually not a fan of a lot of M1’s (not…
-
this community is whiny yes, but how is hit and run not widely considered boring though? Everyone agrees chases are the most fun part right? i don’t think a single person wants a hit and run meta to exist. Otherwise we‘ll get an even worse 3 gen meta with everyone just healing for half the match (although considering how…
-
tbh, I feel like a beginner killer should have a power that encourages chasing and learning it and not disincourage it.
-
chases are the most fun part yet Wraith is one of the most anti-chasing gameplay characters in the game. Hit and Run makes the game stale. people will tunnel no matter what, no matter if the survivors is bad or good. with Wraith it’s just so much more abnoxious because he can just follow you in stealth and wait out the…
-
i didn’t say he was OP by any stretch. He’s just so dry and boring to play against because it’s the same every match against him. part of the reason he is boring is because he is on the weaker side but outright buffing him would also lead to issue because his power is terribly designed.
-
this FR, we need more encouragement for killers to stay in chase, hit and run is extremely boring. this would be difficult to do without just outright giving killers chasing buffs (which ngl wouldn’t be good). but, i think what they could do is make all gen regression in the game based on downs and hooks and just a little…
-
the fact I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not help-
-
oh I’m very aware of the amount of add-ons I complained about. He honestly needs an add-on pass because of how many overlapping things he has. yes, stealth killers focus on surprise attacks, nothing against it. My point is because of how painfully his power is designed, every match against him feels the same because his…

if BHVR actually went for a contract like that then it would’ve been ridiculously stupid on their part. NTM, why did Alien not get pulled but Predator did??? even it was a failed license, it could’ve only been early in development and wouldn’t have damaged her development severely.
-
idk, a spine pull is possible, BHVR did confirm part of the reason is gore isn’t super high is from technical limitations on the survivor models. depends on how certain countries would react to a spine but otherwise ignoring laws it’s possible since a spine pull wouldn’t require tampering with the model and just summoning…
-
okay, this just feels like unnecessary hate. her power is god awful yes, but nothing is even rlly that bad about her besides a wonky wall break anim and a “lackluster” Mori (despite it being lore perfect). there’s effort put into her, just not smart effort.
-
Her mori is meant to be lore fitting, in her lore she’s known for placing her victims in elaborate scenario’s and planning out everything weeks in advance. her mori doesn’t make sense in DBD but in lore it’s perfect as it’s an accurate way of her killing someone; oblivious and quickly.
-
FR like! I’m predicting we’ll get it either next chapter after, or next year. Considering Disney might be testing Alien and then if it’s successful, we get Predator aswell! :D
-
FR like! Predator is def coming soon, whether it’s next chapter or the Alien chapter is a test for Disney and we’ll get it next year :D
-
if Predator is C30 though, then that means they only spent 9 months on it if this funny theory were to be true lmao. but in all seriousness, Predator has rlly high chance of being next chapter, no way in hell they got a deal with Disney and then didn’t also do a deal for Predator.
-
yeah it’s just that this community is filled with people that can’t take a few minutes to research (to put it politely).
-
this argument is so bad lmao. they’re not going to work on a chapter (or atleast very minimally) until they secured the license. No way they’d have to make her completely similar to Predator just cause of that. yes hillbilly is definitely inspired by Leatherface (truth), but that’s still like over a year and a half before…
-
Well yes, she’s very clearly inspired by Predator.
-
i don’t deny that but my point still stands.
-
Controversial: Skull Merchant. I enjoy playing as her a lot because her tracking is extremely satisfying and she helps me chill as killer because i’m able to tell where everyone is. (And no, i don’t 3 gen). also her tome made her a really cool character and made her a lot more intimidating.
-
Skull Merchant tome wasn’t that bad tbh, it kinda solidified her hunting + murder style and while it still didn’t add much, it made her cooler so idc lmao. Saku/Red crane is definitely the new Haddie atm. So dissapointing that Haddie is taking the backseat. Feng being a minor entry is dissapointing because she DESPERATELY…
-
there’s definitely a lot of Skull Merchant players that 3 gen and it’s boring but it’s usually not completely uncounterable, but it does require coordination (which is hard in solo queue but that’s a given). Especially if the player plays in the EXACT way that everyone describes her, it would be so easy to counter because…
-
This is gonna be a really abstract pick, but if the devs don’t hold back, an “identity V” chapter would work wonders aesthetically. best option for the killer would be Orpheus as with how vital he is to the game’s plot and could have some cool aesthetic potential with floating text and shattered glass. There’s quite a few…
-
Idk, i wouldn’t say he’s strong, demanding yes but not rewarding like Nurse, Blight, twins etc. Because in most scenario’s playing as him, i could just be playing Skull Merchant instead. calling Gabriel’s perks “okay” is an understatement considering, Made for This is busted beyond belief, scavenger is an extremely…

The most truthful comment here. Art team works so hard everytime and always delivers the best meanwhile gameplay team is in a giant struggle.
