This was not fixed in the last bugfix patch. I thought this "feature" to randomize offerings was already tried and reversed once after negative community feedback? So I'm assuming and hoping it's a bug.
-
Wouldn't the other survivors just finish the gens in that scenario though? Although it's possible I feel like this is an unlikely situation to happen.
-
I'm not all that concerned about flashlight saves, but as people have pointed out, the increased amount of pallets + Survivors on the map makes pallet rescues so much easier, and with the breakneck speed of 2v8 there's not really time to check around you before pick-up. I really loved the stomp-hooking of old 2v8, it was…
-
interesting, I didn't think it was latency at all when watching this clip. What you described can definitely happen and is frustrating, but in this clip it would be stranger to push the Killer on the other side in my opinion. If you throw the pallet very late (like in this clip, where the Killer has almost fully walked…
-
I think it's similar to for example Spirit Fury. It will likely catch Survivors off guard the first time, since they don't know the perk is in play, but after that they have to either drop the pallet a little early, or just take a hit without dropping the pallet on the Killer (at least not at the last second, where the…
-
I have never thought of this as unfair, it's a pretty common tech to do with Enduring. And as soon as survivors notice you have the perk they can play around it.
-
I miss it. Lack of it does make visibility better which makes gameplay easier, but I miss the atmosphere of foggy maps. I kinda even wish for the type we had before graphics update. It made the terrain feel really unique and more horror-like. With the way "the fog" seems to be super integral for the game world and how…
-
Apparently updated Lucky Star gets to keep the aura part, which at least is nice.
-
Which one was that?
-
You know I didn't even remember basekit Unbreakable was part of the first Finisher Mori PTB. It had its own issues for sure, but at least it avoided the slugging for 4k. Not that I want basekit Unbreakable to happen, but it's strange they didn't consider it this PTB.
-
You seem to be taking this topic very personally, considering you don't have to use this hypothetical option. And @Rigbeta is right, you're coming off rather unpleasant lol. I like to dress up my characters, but I would support a mode like this. Either to keep the visuals more familiar or closer to the game's og horror…
-
I was honestly surprised to read that Hellfire has an audio cue while charging up, I have never heard/noticed it in-game, and I don't really have this issue with any other Killer. I really wish it was clearer then, because a lot of the time it's not easy or even possible to keep track of Dracula's hand for the visual cue.…
-
Great post, and thanks for compiling all the aura reading effects! I definitely agree that at this point there are overwhelmingly many ways to read the other side's aura. I also think the problem is that some of the newer perks and add-ons have very little requirements. Part of the reason for Distortion's popularity is…
-
I finally managed to complete this archive on like the 4th try. For me what worked was not synchronizing the shards in the last portal, and just escaping the trial after collecting them.
-
I don't really watch dev streams, I mostly only care about the content that's actually in the game. And there is currently only one gay character, so I honestly don't know what you mean by "catering". Are you talking about the pride flags being equippable as charms? Also, I checked out the 2v8 announcement stream out of…
-
I have the EXACT same issue, and the bug report I sent last year didn't get any feedback. What do mean by your router, is it connection related? Because my internet is otherwise very stable.
-
I wanna say, the random speed boost you get from your teammate Trapper setting or resetting a trap is actually really nice. It's probably not very noticeable for survivors, and rarely impactful (you have to get lucky with the timing), but it is fun :)
-
edit: sorry i misread your message! don't make me think about basekit unbreakable lol
-
If they implemented something like this, wouldn't it lead to Killers slugging survivors on the ground to avoid losing a generator when they die? Like slugging for the hatch but throughout the entire game. To be clear, I don't think everyone would do that. But since you're bringing up tunneling and people who tunnel, who…
-
Genuine question, why are you running the perk if you don't want your aura revealed? That's half of it's functionality. If you feel like your teammates are bringing the chase to you too often you don't have to use it.
-
If they're still in the wrong order even if you sort by Date then it's clearly a minor bug.
-
I'm really disappointed they went through with it, it makes changing outfits or charms so much more uncomfortable and it has many of the same issues that came with the new store, such as no Next/Previous Character buttons and customizations not showing the full outfit tab by default. I have no idea why they removed the…
-
Agreed. DbD Mobile was the first thing I thought when I saw the new rift, I'm not a fan of it. I don't like how colorful and unrealistic they are, I like DbD for it's horror aesthetic. I would love some more casual and realistic outfits. I think that's why the Iron Maiden shirts were so popular, it was just normal t-shirts…
-
I would love that tbh
-
It does show fake pallets as well.
-
I only know it in the context of a Killer trying to avoid getting stunned by the pallet in chase. So keeping their distance and pausing further away at a pallet, even if it means losing distance in chase, because they assume the Survivor is going to drop it.
-
I think this might be due to the heavy discount on all the original characters currently, so people are getting new characters as they're easy to level up right now too, with how many bloodpoints you can get during event. For example I bought 5 new killers and 5 survivors with iri shards and worked through most of their…
-
I like the Cage spawn logic change for when the gens are done, and the increased anti-camping distance. I don't mind the overall buffs, and the new iridescent add-ons sound fun, and playstyle-changing as iri rarity could be imo.
-
Well put. I like to run maps and keys sometimes, but them being a green rarity at minimum does mean they're not easy to aquire. An add-on I'm surprised you didn't bring out for keys though is Gold Token. I started running this with Prayer Rope during Chaos Shuffle, since it's basically Bond but with a wider radius (48m),…
-
It's an interesting concept. I really like the lore idea behind the survivor. Though I'm not sure how well bhvr would be able to implement a customizable character like that. But I would love to have more cosmetic options that come by default on a character and don't have to be purchased. I like the 3rd perk, the idea of…
-
This would be really nice actually! I wouldn't want a more significant change on animations like new moris, but a simple detail like this would be great. I usually don't notice the missing animations, because I'm used to it by now, and some Killers like Trapper and Huntress have head tilting idle animation which make them…
-
I would love that. I don't really enjoy voice lines in DbD, not in lobby and really not in-game. For the RE characters they were a bit unique and interesting, but I definitely don't want them on every character. The current event voicelines are also getting grating, which highlights the issue for me tbh, but at least those…
-
Hey, it looks like they finally fixed this! I know it wasn't super impactful but it honestly looks a lot better now :)
-
No, Victor's shrieks are classified as a Lullaby, so terror radius perks aren't affected by it. His lullaby radius does does match the area in which Survivors are revealed to Charlotte by Killer instinct near Victor. But to answer your other question, the "shriek radius" can be 12m (Victor idle), 14m (Victor attached to…
-
Definitely! This inconsistency with toolboxes feels pretty unfair, with how easy to get the event items currently are.
-
I doubt anyone is bleeding out survivors to get a higher Gatekeeper emblem. Also bleed-outs cause you to lose a huge amount of points in at least 2 of the other categories
-
It is annoying for sure, but doesn't the pop-up go away after you hover your cursor over it once?
-
Seconded, I would love an option for that. I find the text boxes really cluttered and unnecessary. At least let us disable it for regular items that I can read about in my inventory whenever I want. I can maybe see the preview boxes be helpful for special items, but personally I think they should have stayed against Vecna…
-
Perks having different colors in the same tier got patched out a few years ago for consistency. If you're seeing someone with unique colors like that, it's either an older video from before 2021, or they're using a custom texture pack for perks.
-
As was said in this thread, it's a pretty important event happening in game. And I don't think giving players less information is beneficial game design. For people who don't want to tunnel, it's still very useful to know where survivors are and when things are happening. And when you're in chase, it's easy for a lot of…
-
Could you write what perks they were running/what adepts they were doing? One perk I know of that has changed the obsession so unexpectedly that people suspect hacking is Dramaturgy (if they randomly get a Key with Unique Wedding Ring add-on). So I'm wondering if it could have been sonething like that.
-
The bar actually fills up pretty fast if the Killer is right in front of you and staring you in the face. If it's filling up slower then they're not quite "face-camping", or there is another Survivor nearby in which case the Killer doesn't really have a reason to leave. After the gens are powered, there isn't much for the…
-
Sadly, there isn't. I wish they added some accessibility options to replace certain sounds or visuals that are common triggers for people. But I've heard before of players having to disconnect against some Killers, mainly Doctor for the visual effects and Plague for people with emetophobia, so hopefully other people are a…
-
From what I can understand from the description, it seems you don't need to down them with Crows, but injure them with power and then down them.
-
I think there are way too many ways to optimize your build against certain Killers. For example, against a Trapper or Hag using a map with the Red Twine and Crystal Bead add-ons that show all "killer belongings", including traps, to all Survivors. Or knowing you're against Cenobite, so you bring Fixated, which lets you…
-
Honestly yeah, I was getting the same worries with Nic Cage chapter. That one seemed to be okay in retrospect though mostly because his perks were fun. But with how well recieved it was I'm still really hoping they keep this a one-time sillier DLC and don't make it a pattern. I know people want to see their faves in-game…
-
Good luck! 😭
-
I struggled with this one too, I believe what I initially didn't realise was Malicious gets the most points by getting hooks states on survivors. So for iridescent emblem you need to get all 12 hooks. This way it should be fine even if they heal.
-
I feel like this would needlessly complicate the endgame for people not waiting around to be rude, who might just want to do a rescue or who can't find the exits. This would also make some endgame perks like No Way Out too strong. If you want to pressure survivors, you can open the gates as Killer as well when all the gens…
-
Yeah, it feels boring to constantly play against opponents clearly on a different skill level. I've also had really weird matchmaking on some killers where I go against people with yellow perks who are clearly brand new at the game, and noobstomping feels pretty bad. I think this is what OP meant, not just finding winning…
