A lot of things removed the survival horror aspect. Dodging through blades and mystical powers left untouched. Magical properties that keep you from hurting survivors. Manifesting enough energy while bleeding out on the ground only to get back up and run at normal speeds for long periods of time. Yeeting yourself off of a…
-
No because I dont stay long enough to ever read them. Killer or survivor.

It was me against Bubba in a 2v1 on the snow map. My other teammate was down in the main building and I thought she was dead. Well Bubba wanted the 4k. I had already 99ed the gates and was waiting to leave. I ran to my teammate and saw Bubba first. Managed to stun him with a leftover pallet and picked up this gal in front…

I'm certainly floating here waiting for proper developer balance, but even as a player who thoroughly enjoyed the game before reaching high MMR I have zero reason to come back and play. Havent touched the game in months. I doubt they will ever make the necessary decisions to rebalance the game. In that case I'll gladly…
-
Yeah its it's frustrating out here. Devs are willingly creating a cesspool for toxicity in the game and claiming they've done nothing wrong. Then you have some of these people on the forums.
-
I'm sure there are people out there who are just playing to play the game. The game isnt just about winning for people... sometimes you gotta enjoy it or risk burning out and becoming toxic
-
Trapper. You're literally an M1 killer just hoping people step in your traps... eventually
-
Its It's the most effective method and the reason why he has that pallet perk... you're almost expected to get stunned a lot playing Billy because you always have to be close to down them
-
You're already better off getting bloodlust or just hugging the survivor before going for a sprint so that's what you want to do on RPD
-
It's not ignoring the problem. The problem will fix itself as long as you ignore the child. That's how habits are made and also how they are broken
-
They dont have the manpower to deal with increasing amounts of cheaters. Most companies dont which is why we have anti-cheat software. To catch the big stuff and ban the rest. Problem is cheats are always evolving and more people using them affects the community. It's even worse nowadays with streaming because people feel…

Boons are certainly exacerbating the problems this game already has
-
It was a Nurse so I really doubt they had any intention to kill everyone in that game and could even be new. Nurse is also a pretty boring killer the better you get with her so I can only imagine there's a reason they let you go. As far as veteran killers go, we already know the reason why. No need to beat a dead horse.…
-
Problem remains that they can boon them for little repercussions
-
Took one break. Still on it. Not sure I'll ever play again because I know I'll only play survivor
-
I can say for a fact that MMR doesn't have anything to do with what maps you play. This sounds like you have a predisposition with certain maps and certain killers. Then you just assume that if you get this map it's because you're playing this killer... no, you just got the map because that was the server you got
-
We're talking such a small, marginal increase that it really wouldn't matter. Just hit the big targets first, then we can talk about how much of an issue stretch res is
-
Survivors can fake killers and killers can fake survivors. Everything after that is up to perks not skill.
-
CoH isnt a big deal honestly. It is another symptom of a problem that's been around forever. Perk stacking, and especially meta perk stacking. Survivors should have options for dealing with the killer, no doubt -- but they dont all need to use the same perks. Get rid of perk stacking and the utility CoH provides will…
-
Killers are not weak at all... survivors were buffed to counter all of their tactics and so a lot of killer players are forced to resort to the lowest form of strategy in this game... camping So the question should be "Why are survivors so strong? Why are survivor queue times so long? Why are most killer queue times…
-
After a certain point you really have to stop looking at your medals or gauging your gameplay by a reward system... the game isnt designed to support MMR and the old emblem system together
-
You missed the part where I said it would be a big balance patch
-
What did they fix?
-
I'll be excited for the game when it has a big balance patch that addresses a ton of problems
-
I forgot it existed until someone else said it 😁
-
Yeah I cant say I've been playing either. Gotta balance the game as it should have been and then find a fundamental way to get rid of camping, rather than attempting to solve it with perks.
-
Is this the upstairs library area? I can see that being blocked. I thought for sure there were 2 paths into the main library area because one leads to the main area balcony
-
Definitely Monstrous Shrine... dont think anyone is even using it, not even Basement Bubbas
-
Doesnt the library have two entry/exit points? If you're 2v1 against the killer then I'd say the game is already lost. With 3 people it shouldn't be an issue because there are 2 paths into the library
-
I'll just keep repeating it then: Survivors dont need buffs and killers dont need buffs. Remove perk stacking. The game will do immensely better for it.
-
"You just have to get better"
-
With DH you can hold W to another tile or pallet. With BT you can hold W until you make it to a loop or pallet. With DS you can hold W until the killer catches you because you have a get out of jail free card. No other perks besides SB and BL allow you to hold W like that... even Smash Hit requires you stun the killer…
-
In lower ranks people are more likely to try and loop the killer because they dont all have the same perks... DH, BT, DS, etc. Take those safety nets away from 3 players and they're more likely to loop. And most killers will be more successful, even the ones most people assume are weak
-
Disable perk stacking. No more holding W and most killers will be stronger because of it. That's it... just disable survivor perk stacking
-
Makes sense from a BP standpoint... urban evasion doesnt even need to be in this equation. They are simply getting more points than you because you're in a chase for 3 gens and got hooked and likely died in the process. So at max you could get 8k points, but you did go down and get hooked so I doubt you even got close to…
-
Yet they can still carry their own weight thanks to stackable perks. One of many reasons why SWFs are a nuisance for this game
-
All you have to do is play Killer for a considerable amount of time to see that the game isnt balanced competitively. Even knowing that, it will likely never be balanced. Instead these groups will continue to try and profit from this game and people who like watching it. I just watch my favorite streamers and live…
-
Ending chases fast means having mobility to do it... so it will be either Blight or Nurse. Huntress counts if you can hit your hatchets.
-
Well theres always a reason. Maybe they had no clue it was Bubba. Maybe they were just playing for fun. Maybe they didnt want a boring gen rush match with little to no killer interaction. Maybe they felt bad for David and wanted to help. Camping is already such a boring strat for everyone that even some survivors feel the…
-
Now if only they were this fast at really balancing the survivor meta we already have
-
You can always re-roll your challenge if you can't complete it
-
As long as you're perfectly OK with killers choosing how they play around it, then we can leave it where it is. If you're not OK with that then theres a problem with your argument
-
I wouldn't shrug off an insult just because they said it one time. No one should be a punching bag for insults, because we are not punching bags. Do you want to be a punching bag?
-
I'm sure a lot of people switch to survivor for their evening games because all of their friends get on. That and of course the old familiar problem of killers leaving the game... I think someone mentioned in another thread that just on Steam alone the overall # of players dropped over 10k in the last couple months. That…
-
Add-on pass because the power itself is fine. I don't recommend trying to make stealth work when you have 4 able-bodied survivors slamming gens while you're trying to Expose them...
-
Your MMR is determined by how many games you win vs how many games you lose. MMR cannot interpret how much "skill" a player has by running the killer for 5 gens and ultimately dying for it. Not only is that completely reckless for someone to do but it's also belligerent, demeaning and selfish. Now I also understand that…
-
Spine Chill, Hope, Sprint Burst and maybe Left Behind if you want the hatch. Hopefully you find the hatch during your sprint and not the killer. But hey, if you do...another free sprint burst!
-
MMR is just a number that really has no merit on skill... some people play for fun, others play to farm, some may not have great hardware, etc. If you really want to see improvement in yourself then you have to take your gaming to the next step and do what others in your shoes would do... record your games, chases,…
-
If they nerf BT respectably...then they could possibly make it basekit so that other perks can shine. For the love of the Entity, if they dont nerf a world where all survivors have BT... they better be good at making AI killers
-
Usually watching someone else or not at home 😅 I'll follow him
