Customizable Corrosive Cubes?
I think it would be cool if builders could customize the colors of the corrosive cubes, so that they could be tailored to the aesthetics of a base. Like for the yellow blocks (can't remember the pack name rn), a green corrosive cube could make it look like your base is filled with toxic ooze, or a light blue corrosive cube…

Game Crashes Often
Ever since the last update, I've been having stability issues. The game crashes at least once per play session, usually when dying and reloading into a map. It doesn't seem to be caused by any specific type of death, just like any time I die there's a % chance of the game crashing. This should probably be looked into.

Auto Swap From Depleted Hardware
I just think it would be a nice quality of life thing, where once you've used all of one hardware slot during a raid, your other hardware was automatically swapped to the equipped slot. I've played other games that do this and it really is nice. That and I keep expecting this game to do that because of those other games,…

Pain Resonance
While I do agree that Pain Resonance needed a nerf, I still think that a "once per survivor" system was the wrong way to go about it. For one thing Scourge Hooks are already inconsistent. Before you needed to down survivors in specific portions of the map to get use out of it, but now you need to down specific survivors to…

When Will We Get Anniversary News?
The year 7 Anniversary is just over a month away at this point, and I'm dying for some news on it at this point. I'm wondering when we will get a teaser for the event/stream or a date for the stream. I was hoping we might here something today, but it looks to me like that won't be the case. Usually stuff like this would…

New Item: Landline
Something that's a staple of classic horror movies is a scene where someone tries to call for help while threatened by the killer. I thought this could a fun basis for a new item. Introducing the Landline: Spend time calling for help in order to gain a permanent buff in the current trial. When using the landline, you spend…

You Can "Vault" Elevated Windows On Haddonfield as Wesker
Platform: PC Description: On Haddonfield, there are numerous slightly elevated window too high to vault through, but if you use Mastermind's Virulent bound at it, the vault animation plays, before dropping you back down. Reproduction: Go to any house that has a window at ground level that can be vaulted to exit the…

Forums Bug: Old Upvoted Posts Not Viewable
So this isn't a bug with the game, but a bug with the forums, and this just felt like the best place to put this. I recently started posting on the Meet Your Maker forums, but after doing so it looks like I can't view my old upvoted posts anymore. My profile still accurately lists how many upvotes I've received, but when I…

Would An Amnesia Chapter Work in DBD?
Amnesia is a horror series I like quite a bit, and have an interest in seeing in DBD. Although I wonder if it would actually work in DBD. The main mechanic of most of the games and their enemies is based around sanity. The player loses sanity as they stay in the dark, gaze upon the enemies and see terrible things. The…

Corrupted Bedrock Textures
After making some edits to my base, I exited my base. I immediately realized I wanted to undo some of those changes so I loaded back into my base to find all the bedrock textures look corrupted. I exited and reloaded again and the visual bug persisted. Attached are some screenshots. I would provide log files, but it…

HRV counts as a Hazard
In case it was not know already, I would like it to be known that HRV counts as a hazard. You gain the benefits of frenzy upon killing him. Killing him is justified.

Normal Outpost Building
Is it just me, or are normal difficulty outposts kinda the most fun difficulty outpost to make? Something about having limited blocks and a small trap economy makes for a really fun challenge. And you have to really consider how you group traps together, since just scattering them throughout your base won't produce the…

Why Limit Grantable Accolades
I know there was talk about encouraging giving accolades during the game's development, and that makes me wonder why you can only give two accolades to any outpost. I feel like if I encounter a map that was fun, ingenious, brutal and artistic all at once, I should be able to recognize it for all those things. I don't see…

Who Has The Best Teleport
Teleporting is an ability possessed by multiple killers, but each has unique functionality and has pros and cons. This list will not include the nurse, cause I think calling her ability a teleport is debatable, and she would absolutely be at the top if she was. The Hag: Pros: Quick Setup speed, can be used in chase, can…

Should Flashbags/Firecrackers Be Standard Items?
The flashbang/firecracker items are some of the weirdest items in the game. It's the only item that has no add-ons and is single use. On top of that the only way to obtain these are during seasonal events, or through the perk flash bang. What I want to ask is if these should be more readily available. Should they appear in…

Normal/Supernormal/Paranormal
For the most part, each of the killers can be broken down into categories of Normal, Supernormal and Paranormal Normal: A normal person, existing in this plane of reality with no special powers or abilites. Usually their power is a tool or weapon of some sort. Examples include Pig, Legion, Deathslinger, Huntress, Trickster…

Liminal Horror
Liminal Horror is something that I have an interest in seeing in dead by daylight. I feel like one place horror and creepiness are largely ignored in dead by daylight is the maps. There are very few maps in the game that I would describe as creepy, with most of them just kinda being the place where the action happens.…

I Would Love A Hotline Miami Collab
With Masked Murderers, an 80's aesthetic, multiple recognizable characters, and a number of creepy scenes with death not being just a constant but a theme in its storytelling, I believe Hotline Miami would be an excellent fit for DBD's collection of IPs. I think the obvious choice for the killer would be Jacket himself,…

Hold the M2 button to aim the crossbow and left click to fire it. The crossbow fires in a…

Will Upcoming Healing Changes Make Pharmacy More Popular
With medkits being nerfed across the board, other healing related perks will likely become more popular. I think that Pharmacy has a chance to become more popular. A survivor could get one self heal from a medkit they bring in, and then use pharmacy to guarantee they get another heal from a medkit. Personally, I could see…

Choppy Skull Merchant Audio
Platform: PC Description: During a Skull Merchant match on Eyrie of crows, audio would every so often cut out entirely for a second and then come back. Steps To Reproduce: I haven't attempted to reproduce it yet, but these cut outs seem to occur at key gameplay moments (attcking, pallet stuns, pallet drops, drone coming…

The Trickster
I'll get this right out of the way for anyone reading this thread: this is not a thread about game balance or gameplay or anything, it's a thread about character. When The Trickster first came out, I did not have a positive impression of him. I thought his aesthetic was grossly mismatched with the rest of the game, and I…

Dead Hard Doesn't Need A Nerf, It Needs a Competing Perk
I'm not going to sit here and claim that dead hard isn't a strong perk, because it is. I think that's only part of the reason why it's run so frequently though. The fact of the matter is that it's the exhaustion perk with the most interactability and highest skill ceiling. Every other exhaustion perk in the game, save SB,…

Your Opinion on FOMO
FOMO is a term I've been seeing going around the forums a lot lately. Fear of missing out, a term used to refer to limited time cosmetics. A marketing tactic to get people to buy or unlock cosmetics because they don't want to have missed out and potentially never get the chance to get them again, or at least not see them…

Suggestion: Player Stats
I'm a huge fan of when games let me see stats for my characters, and I think Dead By Daylight would be benefit from this. Some stats that would be cool to see: Trapper: Survivors Trapped in Traps Legion: Feral Frenzy Chain Stabs Hit Trickster: Knife Toss Accuracy Dredge: Survivors Grabbed From Lockers Onryo: Total…

Overcharge or Surveilance
Overcharge and surveillance both hold similar roles in letting you know when someone's hopped on a gen after you kicked it. Surveillance is guaranteed to give you intel and you dont have to physically kick the generator, while Overcharge is not, and you have to kick the gen but could provide regression as well as intel.…

Do You Want To See More Obsession Perks?
The last time we got a perk that involves the obsession for survivors was the Silent Hill chapter (chapter 16). For killers it was chains of hate, with Dead Man's Switch having been reworked to not involve the obsession. This makes Cursed Legacy (chapter 14) the most recent obsession perk to still be in the game. (Im not…

What's The Highest Number of Pentimento Tokens You've Gotten At Once

Add A Minimum Distance Between Scourge Hooks
The effectiveness of Scourge hooks can be severely limited when all your scourge hooks are out of the way. I had a match yesterday where all my scourge hooks, save one, were all right next to each other in a corner of the map. I think there should be some sort of check in place to make sure these kinds of scourge hook…

New Killer: The Vampire
So I felt like with the idea of a vampire killer, the ability to drink blood should be an important aspect of the kit, so I made sure to incorporate that into this killer's design, with drinking blood giving him both temporary and permanent buffs throughout the match. Here's what I came up with: New Killer: The Vampire…

Remember Me Encourages Tunneling
I think it's a little weird that with all the effort that's been put into reducing/discouraging tunneling, Remember Me has been left completely unchanged. This perk not only encourages tunneling, but is basically perfectly designed around tunneling. First off, you're rewarded for hitting the same person over and over…

Who Is Stronger: Blight or Wesker
Both of these killers have rather similar powers to each other. A power that allows them to quickly cover distances and damage survivors in the process. They're both unique in a few ways though. Blight can go further but cant damage off of first dash. Mastermind cant go as far, but doesn't need to bump into things, and can…

Polls Section Isn't Working
So right now it looks like the Polls section isn't working. Right now, the create poll button is missing from the section entirely, meaning polls cannot be created. I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in the bug reports section. I ultimately decided on here, since I figure the bug reports section is for in-game bugs…

"Instantly Disconnect" Question From Satisfaction Survey
I was taking the player satisfaction survey, and noticed the devs had questions about 2 specific maps, with one of the questions for both beings "How likely are you to disconnect as soon as you load into this map" While neither of those maps I have such a huge problem with that I'll instantly disconnect when I load into…

I'm not a fan of the forums layout change
So since the forums feedback sub-category isn't a thing anymore, I guess I'll put this here. I'm not a fan of the new look for the forums. Everything being justified to the left is really offputting to be honest. I like to be looking at the center of my screen for any information I'm looking for. Looking to the left feels…

Blindness In The Future
So I remember the devs once saying something about helping bridge the gap between SWF and Solo Queue. One of the ideas they had planned was to have icons to show what each survivor is currently doing. If the devs go through with this, I think it could be a good opportunity to buff blindness. Blindness is a status effect I…

Suggestion: BP Gift during PTBs
I think it would be nice to be given some BP whenever a PTB happens, especially for ones for new chapter releases. It would really help kickstart progression for the new characters, cause playing them without any addons or items or additional perks can be rough. Especially when queue times are super long and you have a…

Styptic Agents and Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringes: Unfair and Unfun to Play Against
Abilities that allow survivors to heal or gain the endurance effect are typically among the most powerful abilities survivors can have at their disposal. Both essentially accomplish the same thing by making it take longer for killers to get a down. The longer a killer spends in a chase, the more time other survivors can…
