That's a good point. Houndmaster's one saving grace is that I don't have to actually play her to get unlock her perks.
-
Yeah, the amount of precision you need to have just to maybe get a hit makes for a killer that is both very weak and very frustrating to play. She feels like a killer who wants to be a sidegrade to Pinhead, but ends up being downgrade in every way. I was originally going to just get her to P1 to get her perks unlocked on…

Yeah, I know that the classic horror movies always have some sort of steamy stuff going on. I wasn't around when they first came out or anything, but those parts never really contributed anything to the experience for me, I more tolerated them than anything else. Honestly I'd say it only ever had a negative impact on the…
-
I'm not saying Hag and Doctor wouldn't work, I'm saying they wouldn't be a priority. Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, Nurse and Hilbilly were added in first because they're the free killers everyone gets. Deathslinger, Spirit and Blight are being added in now because of the remaining roster, they fit in particularly well with…
-
The stuff kinda bothers me a little to be completely honest. I understand that every game will have a portion of the playerbase that's….the way that they are, but it feels weird for the devs to feed into it a bit in a game about serial killers hunting people down and violently executing them and a never-ending game of…
-
Literal face of the game and one of the original 3 killers. And also he's free so everyone gets him.
-
I don't think it would be an issue nescesarily, but they have made it clear they want this to be a fast paced game mode. Hag and Doctor or not that. It makes sense that killers like Blight and Spirit would make it in before Hag or Doctor.

Looks like its a good day for this guy! I'm pretty happy too
-
I really hope Trenchcoat Unknown gets in, Unknown is probably my second favorite killer right now and I don't think it has any good skins really. I'm with you on Trenchcoat being an instant buy,
-
That page had some really hard choices on them. I had to pick Huntress for one of them cause man do I really want some wendigo imagery in DBD, it'll scratch some of that cryptid itch I've had for a while now.
-
This is the hardest time I've ever had voting in these categories, all of the submissions look phenomenal. I was looking through the submissions and regularly saying "hooooh, that's sick" out loud. Especially with some of the banner submissions. In Plain Sight specifically appeals to my favorite aspects of horror the most,…
-
As a long time fan of the books, I've always wanted to see Maze Runner in DBD. The Glade has so much potential for cool map design, Grievers would be terrifying to be chased by (and with more non-humanoid killers in the game could be a possibility now), and the MC Thomas has pretty great potential for perks with all the…

I am now happy to present; The Dark Lord
-
I think those are good ideas for perks! If we're operating under these being added to his existing statblock, I would change Dark Arrogance in a small way. I would give him a 10ft. boost to movement speed, as the fly spell make it so he doesn't really ever need to climb anything.
-
Hi, sorry to disappoint after so long a wait, but after a lot of back and forth I've decided I won't be doing a statblock for the lich. My joke post from earlier aside, Vecna does exist in D&D already, and it just feels a little wrong to just re design a character that already exists in D&D. It takes a bit of the fun out…
-
I've seen that idea too and I'm a huge fan of it. If they were earnable like the old bubba masks were that'd be really cool.
-
I still play him. As far as the last year of content goes, he's probably my most played killer of the bunch. I've been wanting an analog horror type killer for a while now, so now that it exists I'm really happy and playing him a bunch. His UVX can be a bit frustrating to use at time, but his teleport alone is very fun to…
-
First killer match I played was Huntress Lullaby, Retribution, Septic Touch, and Agitation. Seeing that made me go out loud "oh yeah, this is one of the builds of all time"
-
Even then tombstone isn't that insane when you recognize that the amount of time it takes to gain enough evil within to get one kill is not too far off from the amount of time it would take to hard tunnel one survivor out of the match, which some killers can do very well. Also the fact that the mori is telegraphed if you…
-
I think if you need to run one or two specific addons in order for that killer to be at all viable, that is a bad killer. And being good at proxy camping is not at all unique to Myers. A lot of killers can do that without needing to build up their power first.
-
Myers for sure. Being able to instantly down people isn't that unique of a thing anymore, and every killer does it much more quickly and easily than Myers does.
-
It's incredibly unlikely they have nothing planned for reworks. The anniversary stream focuses on more big picture stuff, I'm sure reworks will be discussed closer to their actual release.
-
Hello, all due to the fact that I am such a creative genius, I have totally managed to "make" a stat block for the new Killer coming to DBD, based solely off of what was shown during the livestream. I worked very hard on this completely original, totally not copy and pasted content, please do not steal.
-
It looked like a beholder in the trailer, I doubt that's what we're getting but it would be absolutely wild.
-
Dude I can't wait to just post an actual page from the monster manual.
-
For me specifically, this will probably be really funny. I've been doing the "adapting killers into d&d" thread here, so it'll be kinda funny for the latest chapter to just have me go "Yeah, I don't need to adapt this one into D&D cause it literally already exists"
-
It does kinda seem to me like they're not just balancing slowdown perks based on only their own merit, but how strong they are when combined with other slowdown perks. Which is fair I think, since running multiple slowdown perks is a fairly common thing.
-
Sure enough, on youtube I saw someone say that one skull has predator's jawbone, which it barely resembles, if it all
-
I feel like it's probably just more to generate hype for an announcement about the game during the anniversary stream, like a release date. MYM released a short time before the last anniversary and people thought there would be a crossover anniversary chapter, but the crossover just turned out to be cosmetics.
-
Maybe something like "I 8roke out of the void" or wherever it is the husks go
-
"A 8reakdown of the anniversary stream"
-
I'm not sure what it's teasing, but I'm sure someone will somehow find a way to link it to FNAF
-
I have an idea for a trapped hex that's probably one of my favorite perks I've come up with. Hex: Possession A hex containing a malicious force. While this hex totem persists, all skill checks have a 25% chance of being a tremendously difficult skill check. When this totem is cleansed, the person who cleansed it becomes…
-
No promises that I'll make adjustments to the stat blocks based on these ideas, but I'm certainly curious about what these ideas might be.
-
Some of the killers missing grapples was unintentional, thank you for pointing that out. But for the Knight's Guards and Victor, them not having grapples was on purpose. Not sharing the same immunities was also unintentional. After deciding I should start adding petrified and poisoned immunity, I never went back to add…
-
Twins definitely feel a lot better to play after this update. If Victor's collision were better I would have no issues with this killer anymore.
-
So for question 1, I'm not going to lie, I kinda intentionally avoided giving specific CRs because I felt like I wasn't great at determining what a monster's CR should be. I can say that I kinda tried using the Death Knight, which is a CR 17 monster as a reference point in terms of monster HP, AC attack damage and the…
-
I doubt it's not being looked at. It's probably just taking longer cause adjusting items has a much more widespread effect than an addon that slightly adjusts a singular killer's power.
-
I agree with this way of thinking. A question I think this raises is "should you be able to take these unique chest items out of the trial?". It could both these items more appealing by being able to keep them, and contribute to the present issue if you manage to just stockpile a large amount of these items in your…
-
I also like this idea. It does seem like a more straightforward way to adapt how it already works. I might argue that maybe great skill checks should award no tokens though, punishing players for hitting the more difficult skill checks feels a little bit backwards to me.
-
Unless the specific survivor that's in danger has saved my behind a few times in that match I usually just well. I know darn well that getting hooked in endgame usually means the killer will try everything in their power to secure that last kill (it's me, I'm that killer), and I kinda really want the extra BP that comes…
-
When it was actually in that state originally, I never even considered using that perk. Funnily enough, now I can think of specific instances where a 10 second hook respawn would have been very useful. Still probably wouldn't run it now though since those cases are pretty infrequent.
-
Ah, I kinda had a feeling the twitter changes had something to do with it's functionality, that makes sense.
-
I don't know if this technically counts as a "singular" cosmetic, but I've always wanted a hotline miami The Fans cosmetic for the Legion.
-
Wow, the people who bypass the rules make the games not function as intended? Wild.
-
The devs have stated multiple times that the point of the EGC was never to put additional pressure on survivors during the end game. It was put in as a way to force matches to end. It currently accomplishes that goal, so it's fine as is.
-
Demogorgons. I used to play him a bunch and feel like I got pretty good with him, so I kinda enjoy judging how others play demo. Most demo players neglect one aspect of his power, either his shred or his teleport. When I see a player that know how use all aspects of his power well it excites me cause it's like "oh nice!…
-
If I feel like I played a bit sweatier than they were prepared for, or if I feel the last person was kinda screwed over by their team I'll typically give hatch if I can find it.
-
He's not nearly the worst. He's not even bad. Being a ranged killer that can benefit from instadown and other m1 dependent perks, forcibly relocate survivors, land very narrow shots, delay unhooks and reload without breaking chase is wild. He's very strong if you take the time to learn him.
