No until they fix hook placements on certain maps. Having to slug a survivor and losing points because it is not possible to hook them is not good game design.

They need to start banning these survivors. I keep seeing survivors being grabbed like fools and then suiciding on hook because they are not looking at their surroundings.

Only reason why I don't play killer is because of this issue and it is game breaking. I literally cannot find a solution and have tried reinstalling the game.

So it's an exploit. The trap hasn't been untrapped so survivors shouldn't be able to walk through it. If it's an intentional then that is the most idiotic design choice and defeats the purpose of dismantling a trap.

Using reshade is more cheating than using an equipment. The only thing that is considered cheating is what would trigger EAC, however, a lot of people would say the same for using voice chat (me included)

Can confirm animations are getting cancelled for me as well recently, but not because of Franklin's.
