You know this kind of mentality and behavior is exactly why I stopped playing. I had a stroke 5 years ago. I have some some residual issues including motor control problems. Some days are good, some are great. Most days are fairly average. Some, though...my brain and body refuse to cooperate. Those days I take what…

Listening to does NOT mean catering to or defaulting to. That's what so many naysayers don't seem to grasp. They very well could have taken the negative comments in and will work on finding a balance between what we have currently been given (try to remember also the HUD changes are apparently connected to later things…

But even taking that into account, too many (not all...I won't even say most because I wouldn't claim to have delved super deep into the undercurrent of, at best, tepid vomit surface comments littered around these pages these days) posts and comments refuse to acknowledge any positives and just trash the devs and anyone…

The forums are not necessarily a reflection of any majority though. And that is a part of the problem that people kinder and more patient than myself are trying to address and getting nowhere until someone smashes the "Can we get someone to address these underwear gnomes in their own terms here?" button.

Who is being a bully? Yes, I called him out a bit at first. Most of my original comment was a general assessment of the forums. My follow up was indeed intended to sound a bit hostile since somewhat juvenile response of "you replied so you care" neither added anything to nor addressed anything from my overall illustration…

You do realize that by taking that stance with the illogical opening of yours you are, in essence, acknowledging yourself to be one of the whiney, entitled people I was calling out for horrible behavior...to right? I mean being labeled a complainer is one thing but to expose yourself as a part of the toxic childish jerks…

Dude, I'm 48 and my first system was freaking Pong. I have also had at least 2 major stroke events. Guess what? I have had ZERO issues with the new HUD. Now I'm a firm believer in everyone has a right to their opinions and preferences. That said, I couldn't give be even half a woodland squat about the thoughts of most of…

I'll bite... Why? As in: Why is it definitely your last year? Why, SPECIFICALLY, do you have issues with these changes/how are those maps "broken"? In a general sense your initial response (the one I quoted in case this isn't clear) is a big part of why some many see this community as toxic and entitled. Like any change…

Right? I mean I kind of get the potential logic behind it (guarentee the Mod is legally old enough to play the game from drop date or maybe as some form of "employment" restrictions or something similar) but damn that is a goodly chunk of fanbase eliminated out of the gate.

My son and I have a Headless Horseman killer almost completely fleshed out. Without getting too in depth his power works one of two ways. If you hit a survivor they gained oblivious for a set period and it took the same time for your head to respawning. The second you could toss it somewhere and it worked sort of like a…

I hadn't caught that until you pointed it out. To be fair I haven't paid that close attention when my son has played him (and I've been having coordination issues thanks to my stroke brain). The music part just hit me a little before I posted (had to hit YouTube to remind my son the part I meant before posting too).

"My brother saved all his money up and bought a new bike. I might want a new bike but I'm not sure so I should get to ride his whenever I want. You know to make sure." THAT is how you sound. Like a greedy little child.

All you people making arguments about Pennywise being "defeated" or "destroyed" by children and therefore not powerful definitely know next to nothing about the actual lore surrounding the character. It is fanboys like you that caused Wolverine to beat a Superman level character (Lobo) in a fist fight.

In what hole in the wall video store is "Candyman" considered Sci-Fi? "Jason X", the Xenomorph movies (including the recent "prequel" stuff)...absolutely. "Deadly Friend" flirts with the overlap of horror and science fiction. The newest "Child's Play" is definitely a sci-fi bend on the classic horror franchise. But…
-
He does and is known for both. I only provided a couple examples to counter the stretch of "hE's NoT a VoIcE aCtOr...so IT HAS TO BE CANDYMAN" bs. But you focus on whatever silly, pedantic and semantic wording you want...you're going to regardless.

"But Tony Todd isn't a voice actor." Your comment is misguided in this assertion. He absolutely IS. At least 4 different DC animated movies voicing Darkseid, an entire season of voicing Zoom on The Flash...and more. A simple blush through his IMdB profile before making a definite statement would have prevented you looking…

It is an on-line handle I have used (primarily in chatrooms) since the early days of the internet, a.k.a. the 90s.

Not to mention that ANY medium is reflective of real life in *MANY* respects. Especially when one is discussing toxic behavior/mentality/attitude. The type of people who act like OP describes try to be hard and play tough and when called out they pull some variation of the tired garbage argument you're attempting.

Try reading that again. In fact concentrate on the first two words. There's your answer.

This mentality is why we still discuss race issues 55 years after Integrataion; why women still feel as if they do not have equality, regardless of laws making it so they do; why anyone has to fight to have their voice heard in a society that is in an age wherein the breadth of all knowledge is literally at our fingertips.…

Kudos to you for posting this and creating an opening to discuss this. Toxic game play IS inevitable and a part of gameplay that , in general, the community can do little (if anything) about. Toxic behavior before, during and after gameplay should NEVER be tolerated as "just the way it is". Especially since the fandom and…

Right? Like coding is the equivalent to building in Minecraft or some time killer app. LOL Even as simplistic as programming was in DOS (or Basic) "easy" changes were rarely as quick as changing numbers. These entitled jokers that think this way probably also think hacking works like in Fallout or Watchdogs.

LMFAO Me as well, friend.

That's sorta like saying starving is better than being force fed diarrhea sandwich, innit?

Still a better love story than Bethesda...

I have a "solution" to the NOED haters. Make the killers server the host. Then allow a feature similar to the skulls in Halo. Essentially a map feature that automatically (randomly) assigns up to 4 chosen Hexes to totems, which function like they do now. Add a setting/button to opt out of these maps and problem solved.…
