Since you didn't mention anyone getting hooked, i can only assume you were all too afraid to be injured and kept the status quo. If you were willing to shed some blood it would've been very possible to break his 3 gen.

I had survivors dc against my trapper just for downing them in quick succession, there is only two reasons to dc a gamebreaking bug and real life emergencies, if you dc for any other reason just stop playing the game no one wants to play with a big baby that flips the board when they are losing.

The excuse survivors have given me about the second point is that the game was already lost, I even had a few dc for the hatch and they weren't even being slugged but healthy, the sooner the penalties come back the better but i won't get my hopes up.

I can't speak for everyone but one of the reasons is the devout challenge

If you didn't know the other bandaid fix for the hook bug is to drop them then pick them back up.

Well you're gonna go down eventually you can't play against her the same way you would a trapper and if she bothers you that much run iron will.

I Then you just go down and when you get unhooked try to be stealthy the next time, you got 3 chances make the most of them and improve.

The bug can be resolved by dropping them then picking them back up.

You do know the dc penalty is kinda light right? unless you're dcing back to back it should not be a problem for you.
