Why are killers being given ANOTHER objective? Survivors need an additional objective, not killers. This is seriously busted.
-
Yet killers can't move their hex perks to a more advantageous spot... This game just keeps getting worse.
-
So... Killers get a new objective. And survivors get minimal drawbacks to losing a boon totem, especially when they can gain 90% to healing and safety from aura reading. The few select killer buffs do not cancel out this crazy power swing in the survivors' favor. Yikes to the queues.
-
Everyone's been suggesting that BHVR give the survivors an additional objective. BHVR gave killers an additional objective and gave survivors infinite undying. Buffs to a few select killers don't equal out to boon perks for ALL survivors.
-
Killers are players, too, my dude. Just because someone is playing the solo role doesn't mean they shouldn't have fun. Like, come on. Keys and SWF are anti-fun for killers. It makes their experience miserable. Maybe think things through from both sides?
-
OP Myers add-ons? You're talking about Tombstones, I assume. I mean. Do you realize how much of a toll that takes on the stalking? Sure, you can delete a survivor, but if everyone's working on gens in the meanwhile, you're still going to lose. Also, Franklin doesn't wholly counter keys anymore. If you're having trouble…
-
Each hook state take 60 seconds. If you facecamp for all 120 seconds, three gens are easily done if the survivors are doing their job. That's not including the initial chase. With a second hunt, chase, and facecamp, there is plenty of time to finish the final two gens and the totems.
-
If all you do is camp all game, you eliminate two survivors, and there are STILL 3 gens left, then the survivors were just bad to begin with, tbh, totems or not.
-
I mean, assuming you pay as much attention to these threads as you did to the colorblind ones, NOED is here to stay until you lash out on stream again. Things only change in this game when the devs feel pressured. They don't want to balance or optimize the game of their own accord. Because that would be trying.
-
Given how killer design has been developing, the devs appear to favor killers in chase... They want killers to be threatening 1v1, but they want them to lose the 1v4. Sure, it's unfun for the survivor vsing the Spirit (or Slinger or PH or Victor or Trickster or Nemmy), but the other 3 are going to get gens done in no time.
-
Answer: $$$$
-
I thought this was a joke post at first. Shame on me for having faith in other people. I'm sorry you're having trouble learning the game, bud.
-
Does it proc when a survivor goes to injured from Plague’s infection? If so, that would be amazing. Infect multiple survivors and anyone who chooses not to cleanse gets hit with Oblivious. That would add pressure and incentive to cleanse, giving Plague more Corrupt Purge and ranged attacks.
-
Skyrim was not an online multiplayer game. Bugs and crashes could be dealt with using old saves. You learned to save often. In DBD, bugs and crashes cause you to lose. No saves. No backups. Don't be scared: compare DBD to Fallout 76. That's more appropriate.
-
OP killers? Are you seriously calling Nemesis OP...? The zombies are RNG. Without the zombies being consistent, he has no map pressure and no gen pressure. Add on the fact that his tentacle does .25 seconds of slowdown to a speed burst, effectively doing nothing to slow down the survivor. If you chase a survivor, it takes…
-
The issue of lacking gen pressure (for all killers) is one of survivor spawns. But on the subject of Nemesis: one of his abilities needs to be buffed. Whether that's enhanced distance on the tentacle, autodamage on the first tentacle hit, better zombie AI, etc. He has bits and pieces of everything, but he excels at nothing…
-
One of the MANY issues with this update. I wish I could say I was surprised, but this is what "a pretty good job" looks like, I guess.
-
What rank are you playing at? That makes a huge difference in performance.
-
Careful. People have been banned from the forums for even hinting at this.
-
They should follow basic zombie rules. A generator being worked on nearby? Noise attracts a zombie. Fast vault, dropped pallet, or fast locker? Noise attracts a zombie. And before people say: "But a zombie moving straight to a generator is OP!!!", consider the state of Nemesis. It takes 3 hits to down a survivor, including…
-
If in-game sounds weren't so important for killer, I'd agree with you. Unfortunately, being immersed is somewhat necessary for killers to be able to hear footsteps/breathing.
-
Survivor spasms are broken af. More often than not, survivors spawn separated and right beside gens. This maximize their time on gens while minimizing their startup time. So, the killer still has heavy startup time and is then stuck chasing a survivor down while the other survivors are on three separate gens. While…
-
The rng feels awful for both sides. They either camp a hook/generator and down the whole team or they wander around in the middle of nowhere. They should be attracted to the nearest active generator or the nearest slammed pallet to offer some kind of forced counterplay that offsets Nemesis’ abysmally slow start. You know,…
-
But her sickness also auto injures survivors and makes them broken if they don’t cleanse. It’s not equivalent. The extra hit just unlocks Nemesis’ ability to use his ranged attack later on which is bs
-
It’s always about making survivors happy. But how happy will they be when it takes half an hour to find a match?
-
It's always the result of Survivor complaints. Eventually, it will only be Survivors left with 20 minute wait times if they don't change directions.
-
It's a temporary boost. BHVR secured RE for a chapter, but that's the extent of their accomplishment this time around. Once these new players get tired of the game (sooner than later), they'll cut their losses and head for the hills.
-
I don't think anyone knows. The hitbox is honestly terrible whatever it is.
-
It's honestly a shame. People were being kicked and timed out for it... How are they okay with this release? How did they think any of this was what was wanted?
-
It's not about needing the add-ons. It's about the unnecessary and inconsistent changes to them.
-
Oni and Nurse have flicks, too...
-
Oh, SenzuDuck... The Killer Hater in residence. It’s a widely known fact that killer is only easy in the mid to low ranks. In high ranks, it’s a challenge. And at the highest levels of difficulty, it’s impossible to win (this is assuming 4-man SWF with 3rd party comms). To say otherwise is to Be completely disingenuous or…
-
The hitbox on his right clock is terrible. Survivors can just run back toward you to avoid it, leaving you in a cooldown and making more distance. There needs to be an AOE of like a meter with the right click to keep Survivors from running toward Nemesis to avoid his attack.
-
I don’t hate survivors. I just hate SWF on comms.
-
Pig has the highest kill rate. Myers has a ton of meme builds and fun playstyles. Scratched Mirror is particularly satisfying. Ghostface is fun when not playing against SWF, and I personally enjoy the killer. Pyramid Head is very strong and can hard counter DS. Deathslinger takes a lot of practice, but he's a very powerful…
-
Lobby dodge SWF. Your stealth is your greatest asset, and a SWF team will destroy your ability to capitalize on that.
-
All survivors should have five perks...? You're joking, right?
-
Nope. The devs only care about survivor fun because there are more survivor players; therefore, if they keep survivors happy, they make more money off overpriced survivor cosmetics.
-
Item Eater Deathslinger Franklin's Demise NOED Insidious Bloodwarden You just hang out in the basement until the survivors come to steal from your chest at the end of the game. Then, you smack everyone and get as many items as possible. By changing your win condition, you have a lot more fun as killer.
-
Explaining a killer's backstory isn't actively portraying them negatively. Most casual players don't even care to read the backstories. Just because they're on the opposite side of the survivors doesn't mean they're being portrayed negatively either. The Trickster is being portrayed as "cool" or "slick", and that's an…
-
You're crying hysteria over a legitimate fear of sexual violence and the nonchalance of portraying a contemporary killer as "cool"? No uterus, no opinion. You can't claim someone is mentally unwell because DBD is portraying a murderer in a positive light. It's a legitimate fear. After the Columbine shooters' videos were…
-
It feels like he needs add-ons that cause status effects. Blindness/exhaustion/hemorrhage while lacerated, etc., would be helpful. Additionally, there needs to be more of a reward for hitting the knife throws that there is now. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense to throw knives over M1.
-
They're currently hiring for a new, unnamed project. Could be Deader by Daylight
-
The issue isn't coding against comms. The issue is coding comms in for solo and balancing around that
-
Then the devs need to include comms for solo survivors and balance around that. You can't ignore the enjoyment of the killer portion of the community; queue time are long enough, aren't they?
-
Except Twitch is for content; Discord is for in-game communication... You're trying to prove a false equivalence.
-
Dance With Me + Deception + Fixated + Lithe for maximum shenanigans.
-
I can't imagine that killer players would stop playing Dead by Daylight or switch to survivor due to stagnant gameplay, increasing numbers of SWF, and toxic survivor behavior/egc... No, that couldn't possibly be right...
