You mean like Destrike, that only temporarily extends the tunnel chase, because the killer is dedicated and knows I can't use it twice? I think we both know the game has major flaws in that and yet DCs get banned
-
So it's my fault when the killer tunnels? My game ruined doesn't count?
-
We have bots now. If anything DCs should be less punished, just like in every other Multiplayer game, where you only get banned in a ranked match, but not in standard ones. Why that's not a thing yet, idk
-
Why doesn't the boon stay active? The perk only creates the boon? Does the table disappear when the carpenter dies?
-
Then there's another reason why I get a DC every round
-
Where do I find that?
-
But you'd still wouldn't DC
-
I think it's just the ability to teleport that they won't get that match
-
Not just that, if someone else has a Vecna item, they know they can't get it anymore and leave
-
I personally can't see that crow anymore. It's like listening to the song you chose as an alarm
-
What I do hate is that there is absolutely no way to remove a wire besides being caged and uncaging someone. But if the Killer feels like not caging you, that's a free Mori, just because you accidentally ran into a wire early on and now have to keep it forever. I feel like this needs a nerf at least. Either force the cage…

A Border would only be half as ugly
-
Not really, it's easy to quit 6 times if you just quit even once per day because of a bad round. Now imagine if it happens again. Then just because of internet I am banned for 48 hours, while my real DCs were only banned for 6h. That means that I get penalized 42 more hours than should be
-
I said they are able to see if it was a Server Error. And unlike an internet issue on my side, this was a server issue
-
I know, but I was told before that the system knows when someone DCs and when the Servers are at fault. Apparently that's not the case. I just find it weird to say "Server did an oopsie, well just sit it out". It's like saying "Oh you did these crimes before, now you are innocent. But hey, just sit it out"
-
Also it's completely useless to not make them killer based. If anything it gives soloqueue a more balanced knowledge compared to SWF. In SFW, one can see the killer and tell the others, but that's not the case if you play solo. So now you could look at the hook and know too
-
I do that. But often Killers only need to walk a few meters to see the exit gate, so they then see you stand at the gate and instantly come towards you. Hardly a chance to open it completely
-
How about removing the manual part. You have to wait for an EMP to get printed. Dropping the EMP destroys it
-
But for a real horror game Killer I'd love to go with Ink Bendy
-
Imagine Calamity Ganon as Killer and Link as Survivor. I know, it should be from a horror game/show, but I'd love that idea
-
The fact that Torment doesn't go away when hooked. There are so many Pyramid Heads who never cage you, just so they get that free mori
-
Especially when Meg jumps into a locker, you silently get into the one next to her and you get found
-
Maybe for console they could add Perk categories, like "Health", "Generator" or Hook"
-
I hardly play against wraith which is sad because I love my blind build. But I think the rarest one by far is Spirit, followed by Oni and Sadako
-
The map wouldn't really work anymore with its layout, but I do miss it. A rework really could fix it. I also don't get what people have against indoor maps
-
Well, they could reduce it to 30 seconds because you can activate it at will. And for the last 10 seconds it deactivates anyway
-
Well that just means that the chances are twice as high to make it spawn at the shack. Not that it spawns 100% at the shack
-
Afaik it states that it increases the chances heavily. Maybe you just got unlucky and hit that percent where it didn't spawn there
-
I have to say I absolutely love the visuals, but now any survivor could just duck into one of the bushes and a killer might pass them. Source: Worked for me multiple times
-
Actually it's mainly used so Survivors on Hooks can't see other survivors
-
Ah nice, I forgot that there are different sub categories of bloodpoints and they all get counted together
-
To be fair, I don't even get why there's a cap anyway. if you have 2 million or 20 million, you earned them by playing, so what's the difference?
-
I usually forget it
-
The fact that it also bans you when they have a server error doesn't make it any better. But yeah I get it. I just think that no matter how long your ban will be, you should never get penalized for something you really didn't do.
-
Also the main thing about my post was that you can appeal for a dc penalty, but get an automated message that you can't do that because it‘s not supported
-
Thank you. As I said, everytime I dc it is indeed my fault, But any type of penalty that's not my fault is just really bad. And 5 minute ban is also not an argument. What if I ply with friends, it happens and we all get 5 minutes. It would be frustrating. And if it happens again it would be 15 minutes, for playing the game
-
No I said that it was a server error by DbD and I got the penalization, which will result in a worse one if it happens again. i don't care if it's an hour ban or 24h. I don't want to get onto a higher penalty level because of their mistake
-
To everyone saying that it's kinda my fault. I think you don't understand. First, yes, I dc for reasons. My limit is an hour for bans. Normally I don't dc afterwards until I'm back to 5 minutes Second: I may get frustrated when my network gets down and I disconnect from a round without my fault, but I never complained…
-
yes I know
-
Fyi, my network's fine, I checked the router logs. BHVR just foesn't care
-
No I don't have a 6h ban yet. But if they happen so rarely, then why did ai get up to 24h once without dcing just once? 24h just for playing and a server error. You can't tell me that I should just „Live with it“
-
I don't want to have to live with it. Sometimes you just get put into jail for false evidences but you did nothing. Live with it. Similar logic. I never have problems with that in other games because they manage to detect which side failed
-
An hour is not much. 3 DCs plus this server crap that happened. I always left to really annoying camping, tunnelling or griefing killers, because usually I don't care for bans that short. I just complained that if this server thing happens again, I'd have 6h for no reason
-
It was only an hour. I was more concerned that this may happen again and I get 6h, i just wanted them to basically set me back so I'd get 1h on my next dc
-
I gave up trusting them a long time ago, I just report it anyways because what should they do? Ban me for support abuse when I have a legitimate appeal?
-
It really seems that it's a bug that came with the Cenobite Update. I really am not in charge of deciding over bans, I just am disappointed that if Behaviour knows about that bug, they don't just disable the DC ban system until the bug is resolved. It's just a disconnect, not a racial slur. Noone really cares about a…
-
Well then. There's still the server logs. I don't say it was an accident on my side. I am saying that my side was fine, it has to be a server problem. If there's evidence for a bug that disconnects players, there should be an unban, because then you can definitely see that what side caused it
-
As I said, I would have had a 6h ban only. I already waited for the 24h ban to pass that I got the same way, so now that it happened again, it would be really unfair to just leave it like that
-
No matter how long the ban would be, it's an undeserved one that should be lifted if there's evidence in the logs that I didn't just pull the plug. I once complained about a 5 minute ban too
-
I'm just trying to say that no matter how much I left, I still am only responsible for 6h of ban, not 48. Also even if the internet would be my fault, it shouldn't be ban worthy, that just ruins the fun. Especially because I was killer and the survivors basically escaped and just started another round. That's not 48h of…
