I wonder why there hasn´t been an official response to the situation yet; it´s propably the most pressing issue the game has ever faced and yet all they provide is silence. If the trend continues, it definately has the potential to cause massive damage to the game.

The weird math behind the mmr would explain why there is such an abundance of killers in high mmr compared to survivors. If it´s that ez to climb mmr as killer, go figure.

Depends on the killer, really. Like, you can get away with no slowdown on spirit or blight in many cases but there are like 10-15 killers who are extremely underwhelming even with 4 slowdowns. My go-tos are usually corrupt+pop, but I like to switch it up with surge, ruin and even deadlock sometimes now.

Like many other balance flaws it´s because of Blight, Nurse and Spirit. Any blanket change to killer makes these even more crazy op than they currently are, and because bhvr has proven unable to determine what is actually strong and what is not in the past we have like 16 killers that can´t keep up with competent teams.

Balance wise it´s propably never been better (except for low-rank soloq and low tier killers pepehands) but cheating has become more frequent than ever. This makes the game super unfun (mostly for killer though, for some reason cheaters prefer survivor).

Your concerns are valid, regardless of hours! In this case very much so I´m afraid. Many maps will be a nightmare for killers to chase on with IW+Boons (and footsteps being broken half the time lol)

Ikr? My experience is not quite the same as yours though, I have encountered hackers several times over the years but nowhere near as prevalent as currently.

It´s kinda crazy how prevalent hackers have become. For the past 1-2 weeks there is not a day of gaming without at least 1-2 blatantly obvious hackers.
