I fail to see any issue with bringing FNAF in, and in fact it'd be beneficial for the game. You can personally not want FNAF, but being like "it'd ruin the game" and "it's too childish" ironically makes you the childish one for trying to gatekeep.

Any killer that has not direct tool to aid in chase. Trapper and Nurse are good examples, as even though Trapper's traps can help end chases, they aren't used directly in chase to down the survivor. Nurse is not considered an m1 killer because her power is used at all times and most notably in chase. So basically, if they…

It'd be less of an issue if the matchmaking wasn't so damn slow. Before SBMM was implemented, I got extremely fast queues, under a minute most of the time. Now I have to wait 5+ minutes minimum on both sides. It's awful to wait that long to get a match only for it to go by in the same amount of time I queue for. Majority…
-
It's definitely a very BHVR thing to do. If that's really the case, it's hard to call it "skill-based" matchmaking.
-
It should speak to how bad the system is for this kind of game if you are required to go against people above your level just from winning some matches. I mainly wish queue times were better, MMR has given longer queues with awful matches. Really wish they made MMR a toggleable option, I, and I assume many others would be…
-
The latest I have seen regarding it has been from Dowsey, who uploaded about it yesterday. Could still be wrong though.
-
The MMR system is extremely shallow and only counts kills/escapes and match time. If you have 1 survivor who hides all game and escapes and another who dies after looping for 5 gens, the first survivor gets more MMR.
-
Nurse is probably one of the worst designed. Extremely outdated and able to break the rules of the game, making good players near impossible to beat if they play her. I like high skill ceiling killers, and think it's only natural for people who put in the effort to master them to get rewarded, but Nurse goes too far. You…
-
Game punishes you for being good by giving longer queue times with less fun matches. Calling the system "skill-based" is not very accurate due to the metrics used to judge your skill being shallow. In my case, before they implemented SBMM, I had extremely fast queues. Even if i'd have a bad or unbalanced match, it didn't…
-
I'm gonna miss having varied matches. The randomness was the fun part.
-
Bringing SBMM into an asymmetrical party game with extremely heavy RNG is a recipe for disaster. There are far too many variables for an automated system to correctly judge skill. SBMM is going to make matches painfully consistent and kill whatever perk variety there was left. I just wish they made SBMM a toggleable option…
-
I think the better call is removing the ability to interact for 1.5s after using it. Can still use it for distance, but won't be the BS that it is now.
-
Compared to how crazy Nemesis is in RE canon, Dead Space is pretty grounded and would fit wonderfully. Having Isaac is a no-brainer, but for a killer they could add the Ubermorph from DS2. It's pretty mysterious and in game it looks like it commands the other Necromorphs, which could be a part of it's power. As long as…
-
I just wish they made 2 separate queues, one with SBMM/new ranks, and one with current matchmaking/current ranks. That way everyone wins,
-
I am not completely against it, but the same reason I said originally. Plenty of people play crossplay off so that they don't go against people with an advantage. If they allowed you to choose which input device you prefer facing in the crossplay options I would 100% support M&K, that way everyone wins.
-
I play crossplay on, on Xbox One, I am perfectly fine with facing better players lol. ^ This is a good solution, good for both sides of the discussion.
-
Some people just prefer playing on gamepad, buy a PC if you wanna use M&K.
-
So people on console who play crossplay off don't have to deal with the advantage they turned it off for.
-
Pyramid Head would come out on top, since he is completely supernatural. Myers is similar, but is still human, meaning you can deal with him easier. Freddy is also up there, but I believe he can only be powerful in the dream world, meaning killers who don't sleep would be fine against him. Honorable mention is Nemesis,…
-
Pretty much depends on which killer runs it. Strong killers make it nearly as obnoxious as the old survivor "small pp build", but on weaker killers it's really just a minor inconvenience. I say strong killers, but mainly those with mobility. Blight, Nurse, and Spirit are the ones that make you wanna choke someone out.
-
He's in nowhere near as bad a state as launch Trickster or Twins, but could use some improvements. We know he's getting buffed with the Hellraiser chapter, so that's a good step in the right direction. Only other things he needs to be in a great spot is fixing zombie AI and increasing the Hindered duration on…
-
It's definitely annoying how fast gens go by, but at this point it's better to live with it. A LOT of perks and killers would need to be changed if they were to tamper with gen speeds. If they actually did do something about it though, I like Scott Jund's idea of having to find a part for a gen to make it go the current…
-
Honestly, the perk is fine as is. If any change was to be made, tie the movement speed boost to tokens, so the killer needs to hook each survivor at least once to get the 4% boost. If the perk is as strong as people think it is, then always assume the killer has it, just like how almost all killers assume someone has Dead…
-
The only buff he needs aside from the one coming up with the chapter is just fixing the zombie AI and maybe making the Hindered effect last longer. (Removing the speed boost isn't an option, but 0.25s is a really sad number.) Just make the effect last at least 0.75s and it'll feel less awful to have someone speed away when…
-
Be cool if people just, y'know, played the game. Like I get that the map has issues and some people don't like it, but all games have bad elements to them and I doubt the map is going anytime soon. I've been subjected to both Blight and Billy on that map, but I stuck through the game because it's still good practice and…
-
Corrupt, Ruin, Pop, STBFL. Marvin's Blood and Mikhail's Eye for addons. Since Nemesis has zombies, survivors on can be forced off gens while Ruin gets some regression, and survivors are usually too busy to deal with the totem too quickly. This also allows Corrupt to work alongside Ruin, since zombies reduce the odds of…
-
Memes aside, I completely get how you feel. Go against enough of one killer and it gets tedious, even if they aren't a super strong one. I've gone against enough Huntress' to make me want to never see her again. But nothing you can do about it, just play out the matches and try to have fun. Eventually you'll get different…
-
I enjoy the consistency of the map. Even if it can be unfun, might as well play it since it ain't going anywhere. Just gotta keep in mind that you're on a not very good map, that way you don't really care too much about the match outcome. Besides, imo Haddonfield and Gideon are much worse, but I don't see people saying…
-
Letter hints given by the DBD Twitter account. Newest hint points towards Hellraiser though. Plus, Every single chapter people always say it'll be Springtrap or Candyman, it's tradition at this point.
-
Spine Chill + Flashlight. I do agree that purple All Seeing is a bit too strong though.
-
That's fair, it's tiring seeing frequent posts about any potential killer honestly. I just prefer to scroll past em and let people have fun, since not everyone is gonna know that a thread already exists on the subject.
-
Wow, this would have the same effect as removing water from the ocean with a cup. Pretty much everyone I see who say fnaf is for kids are the childish ones who say they'll uninstall, ironic.
-
^100%, looking briefly at any fnaf related thread, you'll see people who whine about how fnaf doesn't belong, or something along those lines. There is literally nothing wrong with fnaf to warrant the hate, it's just people who don't see past the old cringey stuff that came from the fanbase. People who say they they'd…
-
So instead of having to break only 1 wall to avoid a near-infinite, you gotta break a second one. They should really just change keys into things that open/close breakable walls for a duration, that way survivors have to actually interact with the walls to create a stronger loop that can still be broken again.
-
Humongous no from me, unless they create a separate queue for it. You just can't implement SBMM into an asymmetrical pvp game that relies so heavily on RNG and expect it to work out. Just make another queue that has it enabled, and refine the current matchmaking.
-
The Monster from Carrion would be sick, could be a jack-of-all-trades type killer with 3 tiers, each with 2 abilities like in the game. Would be terrifying to be chased by a blob of flesh, eyes, and mouths that slithers towards you as it's tentacles grasp the surroundings. The Ubermorph from Dead Space 2 would be great,…
-
I'd like if kicks applied a 2% regression, and survivors would be required to work on a gen for at least 3.5 seconds before regression completely stopped. That way kicks actually do something, and you can't just tap the gen to undo regression.
-
Nemesis clearly should have access to his rocket launcher, flamethrower, minigun, his other transformations, the ability to sprint at survivors, the ability to walk through walls. But in all seriousness, I do wish Nemesis used either his Rocket Launcher or Flamethrower for his special attack and replaced the zombies with…
-
Either keep trying to look up when you hear it, or try and look away and go around it. Lightborn works too. They are pretty annoying, since when you look up, sometimes it will snap your camera back to normal.
-
I understand that people dislike the map, but there are people who do like it, so removing it is out of the picture. Just keep on playing the map, learn the layout, and form strategies to adapt to it. Legit looks like we're getting to a point where people will DC because a map has a specific loop they can't use their power…
-
Springtrap would be a great fit, and they don't deserve the negativity they get upon being brought up in relation to dbd. It's understandable to dislike the idea because of the amount of times it's brought up, or personal experiences with it's fanbase, but you can't really deny it's popularity and impact it had. Too many…
-
When they add it, I hope it's a separate mode from what we have. Not a big fan of MMR, and I enjoy how chaotic current matchmaking is.
-
They put far too many crappy charms that no one cares for. They could easily make people like the Rift more if they replaced the generic charms with small amounts of Iri Shards that get larger at higher tiers, with even more on the Premium track. They could even put BP and people would like it more. It's a shame that the…
-
They HEAVILY value form over function with this game and it's awful. Just loading into a map wipes a smile off my face, because so many of them are skewed too heavily in favor of one side. It's not very fun to load into 1 match as killer and get a Suffo Pit with several great jungle gyms that connect in the middle, only to…
-
I still don't understand the issue with fnaf being in the game. The killer in question is a dude who murdered MANY children and ended up being crushed to death by the suit he used to lure them. He then lived on as a corpse inside a rotting suit, and ending up burning to death. There is nothing about the character that says…
-
Thanks for the replies, I decided to watch a stream and stay in game, they ended up quitting, so I didn't get a penalty.
-
Like all new maps, you must learn the layout.
-
If they're getting kills, clearly their strategies are working. A player isn't automatically bad when they do something you dislike. At high ranks, killer is much harder than survivor too, so a lot of the time, killers are almost forced to camp/tunnel/slug.
-
They probably didn't have much fun during the match and want to feel accomplished. Or something else, you never know. Either way, they're douches (unless the killer deserved it)
-
Dead Space. Isaac and the Ubermorph would be dope, who wouldn't like a killer with blades for arms. Carrion is up there too.
