  • I think the fact that 90% of my games are the same 4 killers, is proof that I am playing against the top 10% every game. Killers gravitate to what is OP and hardly play anything else, unless a ritual or challenge requires it.
  • I think worrying about SWFs when the vast majority of the player base is solo survivors is an extremely poor use of time. I agree with your kill rates FOR solo survivors. If that is the overall average killrate you are going for, then solo survivors will be that much more at a disadvantage.
  • The way they are releasing killers you want to basically play them the first 3 months they come out and then drop them. Because they are releasing killers in a hilariously OP state and then nerfing them in the next patch. I wish they would do the same for survivor perks.
  • Maybe me playing at high MMR against strong killers is skewing my stats. I guess my point would be no killer should have over a 60% killrate, and no killer should be below 55%. If either of those two things exist tuning needs to happen.
  • Tunneling is happening regardless of what players do, so I wouldn't mind the trade off. I would also be okay with the killer DCing if someone died early or if someone else left. I record stats and in nearly half of my games the killer tunnels from the very first hook. Games are over 99% of the time if someone dies in the…
  • Doesn't seem like you read what I said, you shouldn't be running a perk to injure someone who breaks traps. If someone is going through your web disarming traps that's the person you should have been chasing. As soon as a trap gets disarmed you chase that person but also come from a direction that would push them back into…
  • The data they showed us was before the big killer buffs and substantial survivor nerfs. I wouldn't be surprised if its around a 55% for SWF and 70% in solo lobbies.
  • I think 50% kill rate is fair, and right now its much higher than that.
  • I think a debuff with hinder and bloodlust removal would actually be the safest way to do this. The only thing you would also need to do, so survivors don't abuse this. Make it so an unhooked survivors also have no collision with the killer during this debuff. You would get the debuff for 2 minutes after being unhooked or…
  • Honestly, I would be okay with making it so you can only try to unhook yourself, if you have a perk associated with that mechanic. Think about the amount of times you actually tried to unhook for a good reason and you managed to do it. You can probably count all of those times on one hand. I also don't see a problem if the…
  • When was soloQ worse than it is right now, just a few months ago? Because, the past year or so has been some of the worst experiences in the game I have ever had. I would have no problem agreeing with you if the game offered in game comms, or some way to interact with your team better. The fact is they do the opposite of…
  • Aura perks teach killers to basically be blind when their aura perks don't work. I have had killers walk right by me after looking directly at me, when I was running distortion. I had a huntress chase me for 4 minutes because she was so used to getting instant downs with her aura build. She could not get back into normal…
  • Just to put what you said together. You should give up on playing this game on your own and play with a SWF or lose. Is that correct? That's a very quick way to kill a game where most of the players are solo players. I get that you are a killer main but you have to see how this would be extremely bad for the overall…
  • Good luck, the forums are full of coped out their mind killers. The truth is no one cares about solo survivor, and if you play by yourself. The best thing you can do is go play a different game like this. BHVR does not care about you or even acknowledge that you exist.
  • Correct, the vast majority of survivors are solo players and the game should be balanced around them not SWFs. Give the killer some extra currency for playing against SWFs and prevent them from losing pips. We SHOULD NOT be balancing the game around less than 10% of the player base, why BHVR thinks it was a good idea is…
  • You guys keep saying that slugging is a result of bad survivor play, and I don't disagree. But what about the situations where a killer just wants to slug one person and bleed them out? Why is it okay to leave that in the game? Many killers can indefinitely keep that person on the ground and there is nothing you can…
  • I have played 2 games as singularity that would hardly prove anything. I play a ton of trapper, he is the most free wins you could ever imagine. The only times I lose, are if the map is extra tragic for me, or if it's a coordinated SWF that target my web gens. Trapper just happens to be the killer that the community thinks…
  • How many wins in a row would you be satisfied with until you agree that killer is easy? Is it infinity? I have a feeling it's infinity.
  • Ill create a scenario, the game started, a bubba found and downed you in 30 seconds. He is now standing over your corpse, go.
  • Your 4th statement proves that it's extremely easy to do. If you have to put restrictions on killers to make them not get a 4k, you are overpowered my guy. Wake up.
  • There are in almost every scenario 3-4 hooks in range of you when you pick a survivor up. Unless you greed for a very far hook, even if someone sabos, 90% of the time a hook is right nearby that you can still reach anyways. The reality is sabo heavily punishes killers who run scourge, and this drives them up a wall. So to…
  • I don't have a computer good enough to record and play. I can send you my nightlight stats if you really want them but I just recently started recording the end game screens. Step 1. Only play trapper if you have 2 good addons and one must be "The trapper sack" no matter what. You have two options for the other addon…

  • Bubba is camping the body, now what?
  • Killers throw a hissy fit the second the game doesn't go there way. Want proof? Do a sabo build for one game. Anyone saying the game is harder on killer is FOS, the last two years has had the highest average killrates ever. The game could not be easier on killer. I can 4k on trapper (perceived as the worst killer) as many…
  • It's crazy people still think trapper is bad. Anytime I need to do a 4k challenge I immediately pick trapper. Using the addon for carrying all traps at the start and the free reset every 30 seconds is a nearly unwinnable situation for survivors. You can make a web around 3-4 gens and never leave your web from the start of…
  • On 2 story maps it's pretty much an instant loss for soloQ teams.
  • Yeah I just checked the unkown and his killrate never went over 60%, so that doesn't really fit. He has been within 1% of where he is now since he came out. Weskers killrate was no where near this, he actually got buffed remember, people were memeing on him. Singularity is just not a good killer in general. He requires an…
  • I meant to say, killers in general got nerfed in-between the Unkown getting released, and his killrate going down. That isn't a natural drop. If that's your only example of killrates dropping over time, then you are out of examples. Killers don't know how to play the killer and survivors don't know how to play against…
  • I haven't been watching enough to know if any of that is true. What I do know is killers in general have been nerfed in between the unknown getting nerfed and his killrate going down correct?
  • Every killer that has had close to that killrate has been nerfed, why do you assume Vecna is different? And I would argue that Vecna is easier to play than the killers who have had a killrate as high as this. I just don't understand why you think Vecna is any different, why would that killrate be allowed to stay over the…
  • I guess well have to disagree until both inevitably get nerfed. I just wish more killers cared about a fair game. They seem to only care when survivors have the tiniest edge on them. As soon as killers even remotely outperform, everyone defends it to the ends of the earth or tries to gaslight you. Vecna has one of the…
  • I think if you do something as simple as, allowing survivors to bleed themselves out. It would significantly reduce slugging for the 4k. And if you add the camping a body unbreakable, then the chances of them forcing a slug game also significantly goes down. You don't need to kill ALL slugging to address slugging, you can…
  • It has nothing to do with how good your teammates are, you cannot talk to your teammates. That is information that cannot be shared. No matter how good you or your teammates are, Weave Attunement by design has no counter play for the people who don't know the item was even dropped. The orb is the only one that will get you…
  • Ignore everyone else I am just here having a conversation with you. You claim both sides will endlessly defend what is OP on their side. I am proving that I am completely for balancing OP survivor perks because it brings more options. The problem with Weave Attunement is your teammates, not you. I cannot control if my…
  • I am a survivor main, and I also called for CoH, DH, and MFT nerfs. Mainly because it did not feel good to have perks that were insanely more powerful than anything else you can do. For that reason, I would be okay with then nerfing WoO, but that's as far as that list goes. Nothing else feels like it's set and forget,…
  • The system they came up with was met with so much push back (from both sides) it ended up being scraped. They are likely still thinking about ways to deal with slugging, but for now we just have to wait.
  • Pretty sure it use to work like this and killers cried until it got removed. Survivors are not allowed to have good perks, once you learn that, the games not so bad.
  • No matter how overpowered something is, killers will defend it. I got a lot of push back for saying Vecna might be too strong, and here we are, getting nerfed already. I have so far (luckily) only played against one person doing this so far, and boy was it a blood bath.
  • If the killer only ever has the option to slug then that situation should also be mended. Both slugging and the need to slug should be addressed equally. It seems however that DBD is only interested in taking away the survivors ability to force the killer to slug.
  • If a killer wants to slug someone from the very beginning of the game there is very very little counter play when it comes to getting that person back up. I don't see how that is fun and fair game play. You can't leave open the opportunity for people to take advantage of exploitative game play. I am not even talking about…
  • Yea I never once compared survivor perks to killer perks. They keep glossing over the part where I bring up that at least half of survivor perks aren't even worth the slot. I am comparing bad survivor perks to good survivor perks, and many are very very bad even in context of them being weak because they are survivor…
  • My only question for killer mains is. How much higher should the kill rate be? Is some killers having nearly a 70% kill rate not enough? What numbers would you be happy with? Joking aside, killrate is higher than it has ever been. If I were you I would be very very quiet, and enjoy the game while it lasts.
  • The change won't do much imo. I have yet to escape just one game against him, I am a soloQ survivor tho, so the devs don't really think about me at all.
  • I think the situation of addons has sort of gotten out of control because the blood web does exist, and there needs to be something of significance coming from spending your blood points. So we have a situation where the addons and items coming from the blood web HAVE to be decent or people just won't interact with the…
  • I am for nerfing killers that feel unfair, regardless of how good they are perceived. The problem with nurse is that she is both tragic in the hands of 90% of players, and oppressive in the hands of the rest. She would need an entire overhaul to address that issue, one that the devs don't feel is worth it. Is making her…
  • I guess well disagree until you decide to look up some good videos of the new killer. I have a feeling the new map has a higher kill rate than you would expect. There are no god loops, nearly every pallet or gym is a weak style. There are plenty of dead zones outside. You can literally pull survivors out of portals if you…
  • I would argue that the state of the killrate and the meta of regression gaming being left the way it was for soo long did more damage than all of the OP survivor perks combined. The game has never been more killer sided than it has been in the past year, and yet asking for good perks for survivor is apparently too much.
  • Bardic is only good if people are nearby to get use out of it, and it only becomes stronger than just doing a gen yourself if there are at least 2 people nearby. So you have to be turbo inefficient for the perk to be better than just spreading out and doing gens. I call these type of perks "bait" perks, because you…
  • Then you aren't using it correctly, I recommend watching people use it. There is currently no counter play.
