  • 100% casual, but im like that with any game. I was never interested in being the best and always winning. I prefer to laugh and have fun and do stupid things here and there and try new random builds (perk roulette). Way back when i first got the game i thought when i played killer i always had to sweat my booty off but now…
  • probably the only one in dbd history but huntress for me, dont like having to run and dodge at the same time, but i oh so love sniping people
  • i dont find killer hard per say, i just find most games are pretty boring now. ive noticed a lot more stealth gameplay recently
  • This right here....i dont think making gens take longer is the issue, its already boring enough being on a gen alone for 80 ish seconds. There has to be something else like collecting parts scattered across the map or not allowing more than 2 survivors on a gen at one time (like healing) and with all these perks i think…
  • i never understood why killers care about kills in the first place, who cares if all 4 escape, i like the chases and mindgames and scares, who cares about kills
  • nah i want my my points, you can sit there under hook if you wish after i unhook you though. idc
  • espeically cause i like to do perk roullettes and its aggrivating to sing my abc's searching for perks mayneeeee
  • i guess im the only one in the entire community that actually likes to play the game even if it means im losing....why queue up for such a quick game? if youre doing that well as killer let them reset so you can actually...idk play?
  • idk its just part of the package deal, i play both sides as well and i do lots of "toxic" things as survivor, but i dont get butthurt when playing as killer when its done to me. cause i know if i was survivor id be flashlighting and teabagging (sometimes) and looping and head on stunning and breakout-ing and sabotaging,…
  • 95% of my games i play to make the killer laugh or to mess with them, ill drop down without balanced because sometimes you guys will overshoot and swing the wrong way and miss, i jump into lockers cause it throws people off sometimes and especially if i have quick and quiet. running around a small object or rock will…
  • if theres multiple survivors in front of me ill go after the one with the most annoying cosmetic, ill drop chase if i havent hit anyone by 20-30 seconds max to go check on gens, sometimes ill just do a hit and run
  • oh ive been here since the beginning, but im saying killer is at its lowest point in the current meta/state. We dont talk about old insta heals and forever broken hooks because games are always trash when they are new. but in the current 2019-2021 era, its pretty bad right now.
  • killer is probably in the worst place to play right now, the boon totems, consistant nerfs, spirit is beyond useless now compiled with the iron will/stridor boon shadow step can always hear her trash. i dont blame killers for tunneling and camping
  • Ill never to this day understand why the events bring out the worst of people, sure generally the undesirable playstyles are year round, but events multiply it by 100, just play normally, i dont wanna have to always bring the try hard survivor build just to smash some pumpkins and get a couple event generators
  • i go thru phases, right now havent played in about a month. Last stretch was 4 months. Ill get the urge to play a lot for like 2 or 3 weeks and then it gets boring. plus i have a lot of other games ive been giving attention to
  • nothing really, im usually the first to press ready so i can keep watching my youtube video, though i do like equipping lightborn for flashlights and staring them right in the face. it always takes them a few seconds to realize they cant blind you its hilarious
  • I feel like im the only person who enjoys playing solo, i get so much enjoyment from seeing what my teammates are doing, id much rather laugh and have a good time than always "win"
  • basically what tippy said, im not gonna ignore the other survivors who i can find easily just to go search the map for one person i may not even find, thats what the game is about though, the asymetrical aspect is that elodie has every right to play immersive if she wants to. and it sucks but if you are the 1 survivor who…
  • just please stop giving me lerys when im huntress, please please please
  • Page 78 section 7B-2, killers shall allow survivors to cleanse all totems on map regardless if they are in a chase or spotted out in the open (please notice my sarcasm) in all realness the most unfair thing to happen to me is getting addicted to this game no matter how much worse it gets with each new update
  • I was .000001 seconds away from cleansing a DULL totem and the killer decided to hit me
  • i think it boils down to a "them vs me" mentality, you have no one to fall back on or help you progress. in battle royals its 40-60 people in one game so theres no one to really single you out like a team of 4 survivors would do to 1 killer. the losses in battle royals or even league of legends to an extent dont feel so…
  • yea i could see that from a new players perspective 100% i went thru the same thing with apex, getting launched in a game i know nothing about going against people that have played since launch, but that didnt stop me cause i still had fun and it pushed me to get better. I have 1.5k hours on dbd so im not new by any means…
  • i feel for you, :( hopefully its resolved soon
  • If im carrying a survivor to a hook and i pass by hatch ill let them have it i try my hardest to never go after the person just unhooked even if im losing hard if a person is trying to get my attention by spamming vaults or flashlights i will purposfully ignore them (have fun sitting on gens all game) i dont slug for the 4k
  • theres a lot of factors to consider though, is the gen almost done? are you still at 5 or 4 gens? is this injured person out in the open and an easy target? will this person going to second stage create a lot more pressure? just because a killer is going after the injured person first doesnt mean they are tunneling, they…
  • its for sure overrated, i never use it cause half the time im exhausted on the ground. But its not a matter of "knowing they have it so bait it out" its more like theres nothing you can do if they DH to a pallet or window, you cant bait that out. using it out in the open saves them 3 seconds
  • Id say blight for me (pc player) nurse just requires practice blinking around and gauging distance, blight has to go against the map and the survivors and i always find it difficult to keep track of survivors when im running around super fast
  • I dig twins, and i love the sound of her releasing viktor, so ominous
  • im indifferent on the map, i like the aesthetic i think it fits well in dbd, the hatch thing is a problem as well as totems (i legit can find 1 per match) but i dont mind getting the map, maybe against hag its kind of annoying cause her traps blend with the colors and grass very well but it is her map so i understand
  • its some feast or famine times right now, people are agitated with all the bugs and slow fixes to lagging and console issues, so many people cant play the event because of it. i try to make it fun for everyone cause i like to see it from their point of view, though i will say ive been running starstruck agitation nurse and…
  • oh your lucky, its always lerys or Midwich for me, other than that corn maps are my second home right now. i got temple of purgation once last night and i was so happy even though the map is huge lol
  • ive gotten lery's so many times i had to stop playing blight and huntress :(
  • ive been to coldwind more times than i can count, and never thompson house :(
  • People just need to accept the fact that there will be toxcicity from boths sides, other games have lived with it for many years and they are doing just fine, its ok to rant and vent but its never going to change. I will say though what may look like toxic gameplay might just be a couple of friends fooling around at the…
  • Blight, im terrible with his rushes, its more of a comedy skit than a killer game
  • for killer it was corrupt, i still run it on hag and trapper but i used to run it on almost every killer, realized that it doesnt really do too much for killers that dont need set up for survivor it was WGLF, i was so addicted to getting extra bloodpoints but now i dont need them as much and realized its kind of a waste of…
  • There will never be one true answer, every survivor wants something different. Just play normal, idk what normal is per say but theres really no reason to sweat at 5 gens or camp, its impossible to get each side to play fair though. When i play killer im playing just to play, i have no reason to camp slug or tunnel even if…
  • I used to always run spine chill, i conditioned myself not to use it, you could say its a weaker resilience or prove thyself, but only for a couple seconds cause usually they are coming towards you if its lit up the whole time so you gotta move, its really only good against ghost face and myers and pig, which i dont see…
  • If they were to ever make a 2v8 mode they would have to specifically create maps for that. And there could be stipulations like if both killers are within a certain meter radius of each other get a movement speed reduction or if a survivor is hit when another killer is within 16 meters that survivor can take 3 hits before…
  • Everyone would just play spirit and be across the map in 3 seconds with .2 second activation time and a 5 second cooldown
  • i usually reject it, its me vs them, if they win thats great...lets move on, i dont need an extra 500 points.
  • Buff trapper, the OG killer needs some love Nerf Deathslinger, he needs a wind up kinda like huntress so theres at least some counterplay
  • also to add to that, gen rushing while yes is a salty killer term, can also be miscontrued. its the killers job to patrol and stop gen progression WHILE hooking people, not the other way around, if youre getting gen rushed its because you arent doing your job, some people will sacrifice themselves or 4 toolboxes with best…
  • Theres a difference between being an easy target or always getting caught at the wrong time, and actual tunneling, tunneling gets misinterpreted by salty survivors. actual tunneling is when the killer deliberatly ignores all other objectives such as protecting gens, downing other survivors, slugging because youre not the…
  • i still enjoy playing plague, im glad they added the pool to start because it got annoying when good survivors would just not cleanse all game youre just a puking tall lady
  • i think if they were negligable like the ones you posted it could work, they cant make any of the passives too strong or else people would gravitate towards the 1 or 2 overpowered passives and youd just see clauds and lauries for example
  • I started playing when the plague chapter game out, i thought she was so cool and gross and scary. and i remember for the longest time i didnt know head on was a perk and i kept trying to stun the killer cause i thought it was just a game mechanic, oh i miss the days of being innocent and new sometimes
  • if im steamrolling at 5 gens ill usually go get a glass of water or something, let them reset because i want everyone to enjoy the game. maybe they are new and dont know what to do so i give them a chance, theres a streamer out there, wont say names and i do enjoy his content sometimes but he always slugs and stomps at 4-5…
  • if i have fun, which i usually do even if i get a 4k or 0k, i make the game work for me not the other way around
