I think it would be fine if it was treated as a more traditional exhaustion perk than it is, because right now you can definitely still run it with something like balanced or lithe until you become exhausted. It should just work on a time limit, where it is active for like 30 or 45 seconds then you become exhausted.
-
That is my mindset as well, it's really just those three aspects together that are problematic, but remove even one of them, any of them, and it is instantly way more fair.
-
I think where this argument always starts to falter is right at the beginning because the fact of the matter is that fun is subjective. Your fun is different than this guy's fun and etc etc. Trying to balance a game around an overall fair experience leads to a more fun match. If the really unfun situations occur less for…
-
If you don't understand the concept of a team-based game than you should just run an immersive build and hide all game to get hatch, since escaping is the only way you feel you did good lmao
-
No, I subjectively think Legion is the most fun killer. Objectively, flashlights are among the weakest items. Just because they were buffed (to make the timing on flashlight saves easier btw) doesn't mean they rival the strength of toolboxes or medkits. You also use a subjective opinion about the killers I enjoy instead of…
-
OG freddy player, moved to legion afterward freddy was reworked and I now play Pinhead and Wesker. Flashlights are objectively the worst item in the game, and using them at pallets genuinely hurt the survivor more than help. Simple headphones, even earbuds, just allow you to follow footsteps after breaking the pallet if…

I did a killer concept and I thought my perks were pretty well done, but my favorite was this. Perfect Rig: Taking time to prepare your craft will be worth the reward. Start the game with 4/5/6 tokens. When any generator regresses for 10 seconds uninterrupted, the generator is highlighted yellow, and the perk is activated.…
-
I've been a killer main for almost 6 years now and it is honestly refreshing to hear that some killers still suffer from flashlights at pallets that do nothing and also give the survivor less time to run away. Genuinely do not understand the mindset, just take a break from video games for a while if the worst item in the…

Dream pallet freddy is proof that the devs would be ok if there was a killer whose entire power revolves around those "remember the fruit location before we flip the card over" games that kids play. If you remember where the fruit is, you don't get m1'd.
-
honestly a solid theory as well and very plausible with the cosmetics they have done recently like birkin. I was honestly expecting a xenomorph skin for demo and have them release demo AS xenomorph so it doesn't coincide with netflix. demo owners would get a skin, others could buy demo but without it looking like demo
-
oh, and if this isn't true it is because they saw my post and couldn't let me be right. Now THAT is some copium with chest hair!
-
lmfaooo don't even bring in overwatch in terms of monetization lmao they will be locking future heroes behind paywalls and (if you miss out on their shitass battlepas) there won't be any way to unlock them for free. Not to mention they went from everything being earnable to nothing being earnable, unless you count spending…
-
well good to hear
-
I'm still buying the wesker skin
-
I'm curious, what is the point of Wesker's infection if it no longer hinders at max? Does it just do nothing? The hinder is a good threat of his power compared to other killers that just have things like exposed or perma injured.
-
I think perks are the LEAST of this game's problems and I think the devs have done a good job balancing the game around the perks. Maps are FAR more problematic.
-
He is fun, he is interactive for both sides, and his power is not only strong but not super difficult to use. Not only is it strong, but it isn't so strong that it feels awful for survivors because there is quite a bit of counterplay. He is also Wesker. Easy choice for me. Got him to p15
-
This. It took them until a shitstorm was brewing from the backlash to add a colorblind mode. It surprises me they even made this flashlight change for epileptics. I don't get why something that almost every single PVP or single-player game has is so hard to add, and it is restricted to a perk. I can only imagine the…
-
It is part of the balance that killer gets to be prepared for the match. It also helps with killers that require more setup or surprise like stealth
-
I'd like to see a blighted Wesker, something akin to his look at the end of RE 5, corrupted with a mix of Uroboros and blighted serum. I'd also like to see some more Dredge skins, they always look fantastic.
-
Saying the game is balanced around the killer having low FOV is just a weird cope and I don't take it as a valid excuse anymore. FOV techs literally only work on inexperienced killers and hiding from the killer isn't any different depending on FOV, good killers are usually looking around lots anyways. The only real…
-
most of the time, it is someone wanting attention for you to chase them, not even them bm'ing. It is what I'd do as a good survivor. So, it just tells me that their team is probably not as good. Go after them.
-
IMO they are. They are pushing killer to be able to more effectively deal with a swf team, or a team that is good with coordination. It is the best choice for the devs to do after all, you will NEVER get rid of SWF, and trying to do some idea where they are punished just hurts BHVR, no game should punish you for playing…
-
use zanshin tactics
-
Tbf, streamers are affected more often because they are targets for attacks. Timmy who plays the game very casually and no one knows exists is gonna get lucky to see one random hacker. That being said, I've definitely seen more hackers than I ever have in my 5 years of playing.
-
I wasn't saying there was a hivemind or that all killers thought this. I was saying, however, that the original argument that had been said frequently in the community a while back was more in the lines of what I said in my previous response.
-
Even after 6 years, the "extra perk slot" idea never dies. Truly the OG of DBD
-
Every community is toxic. Legitimately. Every game community says the same thing lol that is just online games in general
-
TBF, if I'm remembering correctly the original argument was that if there were changes that made camping less impactful and there were changes to really reward going for more hooks, than camping wouldn't be so rampant. Now, the basekit changes ironically made camping even stronger.
-
Hot take: you aren't wasting pallets by dropping them and being safe. Prolonging a chase and stopping injures and downs is the BIGGEST way to hurt a killer. If he is wasting a bunch of time on you, hell even 40 seconds, and you drop two pallets but don't get injured or downed, the killer is super hurt by this, especially…
-
I think the base kit killer changes need to be looked at again imo, especially the 90-second gens. Despite it only being 10 extra seconds per gen, it is 50 extra seconds overall. We don't need to keep rewarding poor killer gameplay. I think they should've made CoB basekit, with even 4% regression on kick. Actually reward…
-
We have literally only been getting buffs for killer recently lmao. Pig was also recently buffed and had an addon pass. Freddy could not be getting changed due to some licensing problems. Idk what else you want lol if you play a m1 killer, they will always just be a m1 killer at base. You can't buff trapper up to nurse…
-
This has been something suggested forever and it just wouldn't work. If survivors were made to have unique passives, it would lead to a problem where some survivors are played more than others just because they are more "meta". You think its bad now that feng gets so many skins? What happens to the 20 survivors with meh or…
-
It is true, the game might be in the best spot it has ever been in (in my eyes) but it is also in one of its most problematic times.
-
Incredibly based, and he is also wesker. Easily my favorite killer.
-
the kill rates, the reality of the matter that not every single map is awful for killer, and the fact that the game was more balanced than people wanted to admit even before 6.1.0. Yes, there are still problematic maps and perks, but those also exist for BOTH sides. Yes, there is obviously weaker killers, but is a given in…
-
Point 1) Maps are still an issue for BOTH sides and saying 95% of the roster still struggles is a blatant lie lmao. The bottom of the barrel killers still struggle in situations that are heavily against them. Again, a problem for perks and maps, not really the killers themselves. Point 2) Again, even the devs have stated…
-
The most frustrating part to me is how the basekit changes went. I've been a killer main for 5 years and the most needed change was to make your basekit kick and gen regression better. This way, someone using a full gen loadout isn't any stronger, but a killer using nothing was atleast more viable. It would've opened some…
-
If you are shooting for a NWO endgame situation, Terminus can be weaker OR stronger than NOED. If you are planning on getting a hit and run thing going late game, everyone being injured is extremely powerful with Terminus, also good if you do not have anyone death hook. This is because they cannot heal, meaning safe…
-
In my eyes, being low tier doesn't make you a priority for changes. Being problematic, or downright really bad, puts you on the block for changes. That being said, I'm not saying those killers don't deserve some love, specifically freddy and michael, but those can be due to licensing if I remember correctly (freddy wasn't…
-
I think you solved your own issue in your post. The devs want to counter killers that ONLY do that. It is still definitely a valid strategy, but if you are gonna try to tunnel someone right off hook at 4 gens, don't get mad. Killers also got basekit 2 tokens of STBFL, yellow tier brutal strength, and 10 extra seconds on…
-
MMR is an invisible number that has been proven to barely work.
-
TLDR; Because survivor doesn't have Wesker.
-
bamboozle is crazy good on wesker, I'd argue he is the killer that gets some of the most value from it.
-
I just can't deal with Blight. No matter how tight I run or how good I think I played, somehow they hit me. Not making excuses, I just hate playing against blight. I also don't care for trickster. Not that I struggle, they are just annoying.
-
I totally get it, the only hexes I will even try occasionally still are devour and blood favor. They are just far too inconsistent
-
In the least mean way possible - "oh no the camping killer can't camp as good :(((((" Hag (and imo Trapper as well, set up killers just lead to bad matches) need reworked
-
I really think Freddy should be next for big changes. He is painfully, painfully boring and outdated imo. Especially with all the new "teleport to this thing" killers that are just so much better than him. IMO Sadako is really close to be good and I don't think she needs big changes. Twins as well, they really don't need…
-
I have been using it some on Wesker and it is definitely nutty. You can also use his bound to reduce losing stacks pretty effectively.
-
I honestly find it hilarious. Before the "meta shift", i actually rarely used for meta loadouts and tended to use whatever that was fun because I felt confident in my skill, but after this meta shift I've been using more gen perks than ever. Granted, the matches also feel way easier, but with stuff like hyperfocus showing…
