if I’m going against a 4 gen slow, 3 gen patrolling Skull Merchant, NOTHING is keeping me in that match. I WILL just boot up another game and alternate between looking to see if I was hooked and killed and go back to my other game if I don’t. The miserable matches aren’t worth playing, and I also refuse to give the killer…

Sadly, it doesn’t matter. I feel like 1/10 SWF squads are actually trying or hard comming/comp teams, but to anyone, if there’s even a CHANCE for that, they won’t take it. Why not guarantee lack of coordination, even if nearly all SWF squads aren’t there to try hard.

Becoming friends with the enemy is always a hardcore win in my book, regardless of outcome. 😂 That or when I point to a baby survivor who has hidden all game, upsetting ALL parties, and the killer realizes and/or goes after them. Huge win in my book. Take me away to the entity after for all I care, we got the Claudette who…

I personally do this to give the killer more pressure and to allow them more hooks, but I guess that is the answer instead… (not everybody is malicious) I have accidentally thrown doing that, causing a 4k, but I also feel bad that they have no gens left and barely any hooks. They deserve points too, especially during the…

Someone else doesn’t hate AoD??? I’m still PRAYING that one day AoD gets the proper treatment it deserves. They were forced to make that game within two years and brand new 3D technology never used before. They bit off way more than they could chew. The game has an amazing and eerie presence. AoD Lara is absolutely my…

Or I can play the game normally how I want to because I bought the game and it’s an option. Sass aside, I don’t typically give up against anybody unless it’s 4 gen slows or a 3-gender Merchant. If she doesn’t play the 3-gen style, I’ll go against her. If she plays the vile way obviously nobody likes with her insanely high…

Sadly, we technically do have a full Tomb Raider chapter outside of a map. One of her biggest obstacles in Tomb Raider 2013 at the end is an Oni. I wouldn’t be surprised if Oni gets a Tomb Raider Oni skin to match. This is all technicality. They obviously could’ve made a Stormguard killer or took one of the human enemies…

The exact opposite can be said, though. I’ve ran into sweating killers that I feel bad they haven’t gotten hooks, so I try to give them hooks or help them find survivors who need hook states. Some killers appreciate it and play along, some don’t care and take advantage of me being a free kill, and some don’t realize and…
-
Any time I am unhooked when I don’t want to play the match, I just Alt+Tab away. If people don’t want to play a match, they won’t. Better to let them move on unless they haven’t fully given up.
-
I tend to do this when I’m not trying or memeing. It’s to show the killer I’m just trying to be silly and not chase/escape, so w/e happens to me happens. Whether you kill me, meme with me, or flat out ignore my existence is up to you. I’m just being silly and stupid so you’re aware and can respond how you would like. I…

It's like people have said this exact thing for YEARS. No, Made for This is not what is causing some killers "not to be played". They're just weaker and not played as often and it has been that way for years. This did nothing to change that because this is said EVERY patch, whether it's buffs or nerfs. Wesker has been one…

DbD mobile has an unranked and ranked mode and it seems to do the job pretty well overall. Unranked makes it to where to do not pip or depip under any circumstances. You're pretty much just playing the match. It's a pretty okay mechanic. I only ran into one absolute sweat, which was a clown who slugged for the 4k while my…

I wonder if that was a bug then. I tried using it many many times and it never gave endurance to my targets whenever I picked them up from dying state. I eventually gave up on it and haven't tried it for probably 6 months or so.
-
I would assume FtP and MfT will not work together. I can't confirm this, but I know for a fact that FtP and We're Gonna Live Forever (WGLF) do NOT synergize. FtP is considered using an action ability, NOT a heal, so survivors healed from dying with FtP do not get Endurance from WGLF. Again, I can't confirm if it truly does…
-
This may also enforce gen rushing even more, though. If survivors aren't running perks to make healing easier to provide, such as Empathy, Empathic Connection, Botany, etc., players just *won't heal*. They will instead be an M1 sl**, making the game even more unbearable for both killers and survivors alike.
-
This also did stealth buff Sloppy and mangled add-ons, while nerfing Self-Care as well. While I absolutely HATED gen kick/gen rush meta, this patch also sucks a lot of fun and soul of our DbD... Again... I personally really dislike them removing the burn mechanic, as it was a unique mechanic that allowed you to change your…

I was honestly thinking this. While even I joke around saying someone has a million dollar headset, this game is SO FREAKING LOUD FOR NO REASON. Every little thing you do is ridiculously loud. If you tried playing with Mac volume in headphones, you would probably go deaf, especially with how Behavior apparently thinks…
-
Ohhhhh, I didn't even think of that... Good point! I hope it'll be both someone fun to play and play against. Wesker was very refreshing. While he has an *awful* amount of bugs, he never really feels oppressive on the survivor side and is fun and not too weak to play on the killer side.
-
I'm not against having it removed. This could be a bit *too much* information to survivors. If they really want something for solo, why not make a perk for it? Similar to Wraith or Legion add-ons, why not release a survivor perks that allows the survivor to see the intensity of a gen's progress within X meters as long as a…
-
My first thought was Terminator. The skull looks and moves VERY similar to how the cyborgs do in the movie. We just got an original chapter and they usually release original>licensed>original>licensed. I think this will be a licensed Terminator chapter, but we'll see!
-
Wesker was ridiculously powerful due to how he bonded with the virus, so odds are, like the Doctor, the Entity will probably try to forcefully limit his power or fear Wesker like Myers.
-
One thing I've been saying for a while is they should not allow slow down perks to stack, but increase gen speeds and super buff the slow down perks since they no longer stack. They would obviously have to be careful how they do this to not make one feel required and super easy, but this is just a suggestion. It would also…
-
I think I resolve that issue in my post if you would like to read it. I'm also thinking instead of time based, maybe gens remaining based. Like, 2 gens remaining and getting a kill, no desperation buff will be provided. 3 gens, 10% bonus, 4 gens, 15%, 5 gens, 20%. Random numbers, nothing is set in stone. Just a visual…
-
This is actually an incredibly innovative way to discourage tunneling that I never thought of... Good on you. I actually really like this idea! Maybe allow diminishing returns so it doesn't punish late game? So within the first 3 minutes (give or take, random number) if a survivor is 3-hooked or takes an entire 2-hook…

For me personally, even if it shoots me in the foot, I like chase perks. It also encourages me to get into chases with others or why use the perks? STBFL (before the update) was one of my favorite perks on most killers. It just feels really good and makes me want to try to get 8 stacks and keep them as much as I can.
-
I really enjoy running Autodidact, but way too many times it has bit me and my teammates in the butt if I can't get stacks really early. I wish they would revisit Autodidact and just give it a 10-15% additional chance at skill checks. 10% definitely would not be game changing, but would help the perk so much! Especially…
-
See, I pretty much only play survivor and love set A much more than most of set B. They're all nice, but that set A Kate outfit... 😍 Also, not David being revealed as gay and promptly getting a nutcracker skin to follow up. Lmao
-
The biggest issue I have is I was running into 3-4 gen slow perks pretty consistently, but BBQ was keeping it less than the entire build. Now that there's basically no incentive to run BBQ compared to before, I'm seeing A LOT more 4 perk gen protection build, which is INCREDIBLY boring and stale to go against, especially…
-
If you're already P3 fully perked, it might put you at prestige 6+. They stated that it will be based off the progress already spent on the characters.
-
I would like to touch on one point that is completely incorrect. Hook trading is not easier. With this update, it's potentially impossible. The unhook action takes 3 seconds to perform, same as a standard M1. The only reason a survivor can get the unhook currently is because the action bar can be filled and completed at…
-
LITERALLY THIS. This right here is the single *only* reason I run Iron Will. I can't stand the grunts of pain and they're SO FREAKING LOUD, especially on Jane, Bill, Feng, and a few others. Give me an option to mute myself, and I will no longer use any perks for it.
-
Agreed. As someone else said earlier, it also feels more interactive, like you're legitimately trying to struggle away from the killer. Skill checks don't feel that way. I also prefer the skill checks on second hook state, but not for wiggling, personally. On top of that, I've been testing how fast you have to "spam" and…

Not all people try to be toxic with map offerings. I usually bring one if I get terrible maps like Hawkins into RPD into Midwich into Hawkins again, and then I'm like, "okay... I want to go to Coldwind or MacMillian..." I never do the really bad maps like Red Forest, RPD, Haddonfield, etc. But I get when people get upset…

Hearing* Sorry, can't edit my post on mobile or it will just delete it... ☠️ It's actually why I hated Stridor so much as survivor. It was SO annoying heading my character actually SCREAMING in my ears if I wasn't running Iron Will. Even then, I would still hear the whining before the nerf.
-
At this point, I only run Iron Will because it gets so annoying heading my character whine in my ears for 5 minutes. Q_Q it isn't even to outplay or be stealthy. It's to stop getting so annoyed at my own character! I have ran Calm Spirit/Iron Will so many times on survivor just so I don't have to hear them... LOL
-
What they need to change about that is the killer no longer sees or hears the sound of the person being hit. Not entirely sure if there is a way to do that (and they would break the whole game doing it, let's be real), but it needs to be changed on the killer side.
-
I'm honestly not entirely sure. Their servers in the US specifically are TERRIBLE. All players will rubber band backwards, have huge lag spikes, just tons of issues constantly. What most likely happened that match could also be that the survivor was closer to the server you guys were on, making their actions reach the…
-
It isn't that it is "completely survivor-sided". It is whatever the server detects happened first. This is actually neutral-sided, which is how the entire game should be. The server determines all actions, which it only does for pallets and grabs atm (even though they didn't actually fix grabs. They just ensure you hit…
-
Yeah... that's the BIGGEST issue with this game... it rewards bad internet. I've never heard of a game doing that before. There is "favor the shooter", which the server tries to determine what should hit based upon what the person on the screen sees, but not blatant disregard for good internet and actually giving you a…
-
The game will never be perfect on what should hit and what shouldn't, sadly. If you have really low latency, you probably just got screwed over, sadly. It happens A LOT. Not even my suggestion for server hits would completely fix that either. :\ It would just help reduce these scenarios. One specific situation I will…
-
To back up my internet situation that penalizes a killer with good internet and survivor with bad internet, survivors can rubber band and make them much harder to hit because the server can't keep up with them properly, making ghost hits (ones that don't hit) or a wiff entirely because the survivor is much farther on their…
-
The reason for this is most likely because the survivor had better latency than you, so on the survivor's screen, you weren't as close as it looks on your screen. When they dropped the pallet, you were farther back and the server registered their pallet drop before your hit due to them having better latency. As the game…
-
Instead of it JUST being the hit, it could also be chasing for at least 10 seconds and both parties get the points, even if the killer doesn't hit them. That way it isn't an incentive to just immediately take the hit and go back to tunneling. Both parties will still get the 500 points, as long as the chase lasts for 10…
-
Give it its own hidden category. One that doesn't attribute to your emblems or MMR or anything. You know you'll get the points when you see in the top right "Opportunist - 500". The survivor counterpart could be if the unhooking survivor takes the hit, they also receive the extra points, similar to distraction or…
-
But HOW do we fix that is the question? I can't really think of anything to make not tunneling 1-2 people per match to heavily apply pressure to them, forcing the two non-hooked people off gens to try to protect, giving you even MORE pressure. Maybe something where going after the unhooker instead or another survivor gives…
-
Yeah, some form of incentive would help nudge killers into a preferred play style without punishing them for NOT choosing to go for that play style. Regardless, I don't think it would change anything up too much, though. 😕 MAYBE a reduction of a smaller amount of points for hitting the person after a certain time frame…
-
The only problem with this is if you balance gens more, tunneling is MORE effective because the killer is no longer punished for pushing out 1 or 2 survivors the whole match, and you know people would continue to abuse this, AND it would be an even better strat. Matches won't get more fair. They'll just be even worse for…
-
Honestly, no. Me and my friends have gotten pretty high MMR at this point and all the killers at that point have been doing nothing but proxy camping hooks like they're in a tournament game and it has made this game unbearably unfun. You basically rush gens because once someone is hooked, they're going to be forced into…
-
That isn't the reason for most players. Doing this means that survivor gets to have a miserable game for no reason. They didn't do anything to warrant not getting to play the match for more than a couple minutes. I get that (for some reason) people take this game seriously and want to do absolutely anything to win, but…
-
I've been playing for 2 years and never knew that was a thing... We really do learn something new everyday... Lmao Guess when I get slugged, it is before any actual wiggling or if they drop me and pick me back up, it isn't long enough for the decay or they just leave me on the ground to get picked up.
