Because literally every other instance of something making you scream has you not scream while inside a locker, with the exception of two things, that being Nurse's Anxious Gasp addon and Oni's Iridescent Family Crest. Doctor's Blast and Infectious Fright don't make you scream inside a locker, and neither does Scene…
-
It's shown on the wiki that in order to tier up once as Myers, you need 5 total stalk points, and I assume this also includes getting to Tier 3 without any duration addons. Assuming this is the case, Infinite Tombstone Myers requires 400% bonus stalk required to get to Tier 3, which would be 5 stalk points multiplied by 4,…
-
It's a big deal if it gets nerfed because there's quite literally no reason for it to be nerfed. If it's already weak, why nerf it? Something being nerfed inherently indicates that it was too strong beforehand, and Calm Spirit is far from a strong perk.
-
Gonna be honest, if Lethal Pursuer is what's making the difference with your Tombstone Myers games, I don't think you're that great at the game, or at least Myers specifically, to begin with. It's incredibly easy to find survivors early on even without Lethal Pursuer, 9/10 games if I simply just patrol past gens and go to…
-
Honestly, I think if we ever get to a point where solo queue survivors are starting to run Left Behind, we've lost hope in the game. Its range is a short distance of 32m, and becomes pointless if the killer closes the hatch and you didn't bring a key. A perk like Sole Survivor would be more useful in that scenario, 50%…
-
Honestly, there's no reason that a perk this strong needs to have such a short cooldown of 30 seconds, meanwhile a perk like Dragon's Grip has a cooldown of 80.
-
I have to be honest with you, I don't think Nowhere To Hide or Lethal Pursuer are nearly as bad as Ultimate weapon, because both are only active for a few seconds, and Lethal activates only once, while Nowhere To Hide requires that survivors are hiding next to a gen and have been working on said gen. Currently though I…
-
How exactly is screaming inside lockers "the norm" when literally only 2 things outside of Ultimate Weapon do that? The two things being Anxious Grasp for Nurse, and Oni's Iridescent Family Crest?
-
There is a consistency issue. Doesn't matter if there isn't a "rule", it still is inconsistent with other scream-based mechanics. Why should Ultimate Weapon, a perk that lasts for 30s and is activated by simply opening a locker, make survivors in lockers scream, while Doctor's Blast and Infectious Fright, things that are…
-
My point still stands. What about Ultimate Weapon would make you scream if actual logic is being used?
-
You're starting to sound like an extremely entitled killer main with your comments here. Survivors being alerted that Ultimate Weapon revealed you isn't a downside at all, because it doesn't matter if they know you've found them or not, the bottom line is that you have information about where they are, and that massively…
-
If there's 2 survivors left, and the killer wants to find the last survivor, why wouldn't they just down the first one, and go look for the other while leaving the first one on the ground? In the scenario where there's only 2 survivors left, killers have ALL the reason to leave the hook and look for the last survivor, if…
-
I'm sorry but I don't think BHVR is taking actual logic into account for these kinds of things. Besides, if you follow that same logic, then what is so strong about Ultimate Weapon that would make survivors scream even if they're hiding in a locker? The flavor text says "When they SPOT you, they know the end is near", so…
-
Exactly. There's no point in having people create new posts about specific issues if people are just going to bring other issues into the replies of said posts, you might as well have it just be a general post-based forum with no categorization. People just leave comments as they see fit. Some people have clearly never…
-
How would it be uncounterable? Calm Spirit makes it so you don't scream. I mean yeah sure you cleanse totems faster and if the killer is just puppyguarding their totem, or playing Demo with coach whistle, then yeah it's gonna be impossible. Honestly I think the totem cleanse speed nerf is kind of stupid, the whole reason…
-
Actually, you're wrong. The description is misleading. Yes it says when entering the Terror Radius, but it makes you scream if you're already inside their terror radius as well. There is literally no counter to this perk other than Calm Spirit
-
There's a place and time my guy. This post had literally nothing to do with MFT, you just decided to bring it up for no reason. I get you're mad about MFT, but go make your own forum post about it, lmao.
-
Just because it activates by opening a locker doesn't mean it should reveal people who are hiding in them
-
My point of having aura reading + whispers is that if whispers is active, and you cant see the survivor's aura, that means they're in a locker Also I'm not against new perks working differently than old perks, but the point I'm making is that it's been previously established with doctor's static blast and other screaming…
-
If killers want to find survivors hiding in lockers, they should run something for aura reading and Whispers. Why should other things that makes you scream be countered by lockers while Ultimate Weapon just bypasses that counter?
-
So did I, but someone in a Discord server mentioned it goes away when Undetectable/Oblivious are in play, and I somewhat recall going against a Trickster a little while ago who was running Trail of Torment and remember not hearing his Lullaby at all
-
This is not a bug as far as I'm aware, it's intentional. The wording is just a little misleading I suppose. It makes survivors scream as soon as they're in your TR, so if they're already in it, they scream.
-
I figured it was something like this, thank you for the info! Gonna take some getting used to for the new voice
-
It might not be, I have no idea, the video linked just shows it being done with Wesker's Bound. I figured it's due to how his movement is affected by the repeated entering and exiting of fullscreen
-
Done that several games and nearly every game I either got tunneled/camped anyways or the killer slugged for the 4k, or everyone escaped so the killer had no reason to go close hatch. Trust me, it's not as much of a "free win" as you think, because you're entirely dependent on the killer to leave you as the last survivor…
-
My point is that the said challenge has become significantly harder to do since the hatch mechanics have changed compared to how they were when the challenge was made.
-
While I do feel it's kind of scummy to not allow people to buy just Cage himself without the costume, if you REALLY just want to buy Nick and not the outfit... just buy the 550 auric cell pack? It's just one survivor, you aren't going to save money by buying the whole dlc like you would with the Resident Evil DLCs
-
I hope you realize that the reason I even suggested this idea in the first place was because of killers that slug and leave survivors on the ground to be toxic, so adding basekit deerstalker when all survivors are downed wouldn't solve that issue. And killers certainly don't need a basekit deerstalker in that situation…
-
If you make it only if everyone is on the ground, then killers who want to slug everyone on the ground and let everyone bleed out would just hook 1 single person to make the mechanic not proc, and that kind of scenario is exactly the reason I suggested this change. Something else I came up with is that this mechanic I…
-
The nerf was needed, but the changes that were made don't fix the issue at hand. The issue with CoH isn't the healing speed, in fact I don't think the healing speed should have ever even been changed. I heard a suggestion from someone earlier that there should just be a nerf to CoH's radius or just a Boon-wide nerf that…
-
As far as I know, the way you set your framerate above 60 is by going to AppData>Local>DeadByDaylight>Saved>Config>WindowsNoEditor and open the file "GameUserSettings". Look for a line that says "FrameRateLimit" and it should be set to 0.000000. Just change the 0 before the decimal to whatever you want as your highest…
-
Making the survivors need to cleanse two totems would make NOED even more powerful than it is now, even if they know about it as soon as the gates are powered. I still think my idea would be better, if 8 hooks is too much then make it 6 hooks or something, if you're good enough then you should be able to get it easy, and…
-
"Being able to mindgame the nurse player" I wouldn't call that a direct counter, mindgaming is something you need to do with every killer. The direct counter to Trickster would be to lose line of sight, that's no less of a 'direct counter' than, in your words, mindgaming a nurse would be.
-
Having it done your way seems kind of strange to me honestly. In order to get an instant-hit down, you need to get a hook, which requires 2 hits? You might as well just use Starstruck at that point, that doesn't even require you to hook and essentially does the same thing if you bring Agitation as well, or if you have a…
-
Awfully assuming, are we? I mostly like to play killer, having some sort of requirement to get NOED doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. Even if it's something more like 6 hooks instead of 8, there should be something that you need to do to earn it. Because as it is right now, you could literally afk all game and then get…
-
What about Nurse? As far as I know, there isn't a "direct" counter to her power, not any more of a counter there is to Trickster's power.
-
Hag and Plague. Hag because if she decides to put down a trap in a loop you actually can't even try to keep looping and you're forced out of the loop. Also the fact that she can basically facecamp from across the map. The counterplay isn't very fun either. Crouching around everywhere is not something I want to do, and I…
-
The only way I could see NOED being nerfed but still maintaining it's power is to have some sort of prerequisite. Make the killer earn it before it can activate, like someone mentioned earlier, get 8 hooks and earn a token for each hook. If the killer has 8 tokens by the time the gates activate, the hex is applied to a…
-
To be completely honest, if you want to make survivors cleanse totems to get Pentimento value, bring Ruin/Undying and/or Plaything. Something that introduces hex perks so that survivors decide to cleanse totems, otherwise there's not a super huge incentive to cleanse any at all
-
If you want to "abuse" Boil Over still, go to RPD with it. Killers will struggle to carry you to hooks in all the hallways because of the extra wiggle sway. I even missed a hook once on Dead Dawg because the wiggle sway just pulled me all the way to the left, catching me off guard. Plus, the wiggle bonus from drops is…
-
Good thing you can get all the skins with Iri shards
-
I noticed your mention of how two of Freddy's addons do the same thing, and I presume you mean the "Z Block" and the "Cat Block", both saying they inflict Haemorrhage when tripping a Dream Trap, and I would like to mention: The wiki describes the Z Block wrong. I tried fixing it myself, but there didn't seem to be any way…
-
Yeah, i do think that is an issue however. They should either have 2 entrances to the upstairs part or just take out the hooks from up there, and maybe make an opening in the middle part instead so that survivors can't continue to abuse that upper area
-
It's probably something to do with specific killers being good on it, but do remember that the area of the map in square meters, both the top and bottom floors combined, makes Midwich the smallest map in the game. The only other map that comes close is Dead Dawg Saloon if I'm not mistaken
-
One: Boil Over has already been nerfed. Two: The main issue with RPD and Boil Over, the library, has now been fixed with two guaranteed hooks if I'm not mistaken.
-
From what I can understand, the way this perk is supposed to work is it applies the hex to ANY boon totem, it doesn't need to be the same totem, otherwise it would be entirely redundant
-
In this day and age? You'd be lucky if you found a game without a boon. If it brings back the hex I'd say it should lose all tokens the said hex had, so you can't just bring back a 5 token Devour Hope because the survivors decided to make a boon
-
Based on what the wiki says, 2 survivors can finish a generator in roughly 46 seconds without any sort of modifiers like toolboxes or perks, and a single survivor takes 80 seconds. David, running No Mither, could also have had Resilience and a beefy toolbox charge and repair speed addons perhaps. Regardless, losing the…
-
Could be a combination of things. Tapp could have had Resurgence, and the rescuer could have had We'll Make It, there could have been 2 people both healing him, maybe one even with We'll Make It. Or it could just be a hacker. But if you're new to the game I doubt you're going against hackers already. Never know though
-
Honestly. Survivor adepts should be harder to get, because survivor plays the exact same pretty much no matter what perks you have, with the exception of a couple like Object of Obsession or No Mither. Every single killer plays differently, so you have to adapt to how they play, and then on top of that you need to get a…
