Why does it ruin the match? Survivors still get their rewards for the time invested. If they really want out of a match, they give up on first hook. Killers cannot do that. Personally, seeing as survivors can just exit on hook, killers should be able to open the gates when they want and force EGC if they aren't feeling the…

Since survivors can just give up on first hook, killers should be able to open the gate at any time. Make it so that endgame perks like Blood Warden don't activate if that happens.
-
Good idea, but I'd wait until we have more killers tested out. See what works and doesn't before going into a standard rotation.
-
Generally, when one side feels like things are against them, they're more vocal about it.
-
Probably, since BHVR can't seem to get rid of the issue. Launching the game on Epic was a really, really bad idea in the long run.
-
I was escaping left and right until I needed it for my current challenge, then we get stomped at seven gens. I seriously think there's a cursed component the devs placed on this challenge.
-
Lets not forget that general… shall we say, unwillingness of survivors to make the mode more enjoyable by holding M1.
-
Hard work is always rewarded with more hard work.
-
So, if they can hide ranks in pre game, show in post game, why can't they show us in post game who was SWF? Sounds like it's a very simple toggle, right?
-
Probably because I've done my survivor challenges, and now I need my killer challenges. I'll wait the 15 minutes.
-
I keep seeing these posts about the mode being too survivor sided and here I am, wondering why I'm the only one that can do a gen. Last few matches we've gotten maybe three done.
-
While I agree with the sentiment, they can't do anything until Microsoft/Sony give the go ahead for the patch. Can't patch it only for PC.
-
Nemi gets zombies Xeno gets direct counterplay that nullifies her power. For me, it's the turrets that just kill her for me. Her chase power is already underwhelming as it is, and to lose it every few seconds when you exit a tunnel or nearby loop? It's bad design.
-
I understand why. What I want, though, is the post game lobby to show who is a SWF.
-
I haven't been kicked yet, but my connection has been pretty shoddy.
-
I'm not sure I see your point. The game loop is all about the chase. Do you prefer ranged, stealth, or gimped killers?
-
Then isn't that a problem with your team, not the perk? To get anything out of the perks, the killer has to put the work in to be rewarded with their usage, and one can only be used once per survivor.
-
Why are Pop/Pain Res annoying? I don't use the other two, so I can't say, but both of the former require hooks, and one can only be used four times.
-
Both of which are going to increase now that popular gen defense perks are getting nerfed and saboing becomes easier.
-
So, I'm curious. This patch brought a lot of issues with it that we all see. How did these problems slip by the devs, who were supposed to playtest? I get it if an issue or two affected certain pieces of hardware, but we're all showing a plethora of different systems, yet with the same problems. I reinstalled to try out…
-
I'm okay with the stun part. I'm not okay with BHVR coming out and saying it was a bug that it didn't happen. It's one of two things. Either a dev made a knee jerk decision to nerf Plague here and label it as a bug, or the devs really don't play their game enough to notice these things. I mean, FIVE YEARS?! And they just…
-
Personally, I want a giant spider. What screams 'horror' and 'killer' more than a spider? But this time, a BIG spider? Let it crawl on walls/ceiling as its power, and bam, you win.
-
I think Xeno is better than Unknown, but ONLY in the start/mid game. By late game, Unknown passes her up. Survivors will have set turrets to hamper Xeno at that point, while Unknown will have a good amount of map pressure with his instant teleports and range.
-
Take that with a grain of salt. That graph doesn't give nearly enough info to say what factors are included there. As to OP, I understand why premades aren't shown in match lobby, but I'd like to see it in the post match lobby. I want to know if I was stomped by a sweaty premade, or really good solo players.
-
Boring. The art team did a fantastic job at his promo, but the development team did a 180. Seriously, why make him into a mashup of other killers? Why not finally go down the rabbit hole and make a killer that can blend with survivors? Do something new here.
-
Stop tunneling my gens, please. Though, if your team is crouching the first steps of a match, I'd assume low MMR, with new players?
-
Hit or miss. Some matches I dominate, other matches the survivors disappear around every turn. It's fun for the most part, though.
-
You took time to find their stream and come off as sarcastic, even if that wasn't their intent. Killer is inherently a more difficult role to fill, and when they're given a map for a killer that makes it even more challenging, especially if they aren't as skilled, then the last thing they want to hear is a 'gg.'
-
I'm enjoying Dredge the most. Chucky is pretty fun. I really, really wish Xeno could shine in this mode, but the turrets just nerf her hard.
-
I was being flippant. To me, tunneling is the same on both sides. You try and aim for the best outcome that'll get you a win, or near a win. Be it tunneling a survivor out of a match, or hammering out a gen. Either way, focusing an objective to secure a win.
-
It's tidy, but no. Instead of two button presses, now I have three. That's a lot of work.
-
If I just don't feel like facing the setup before me, knowing it'll either be A) More stressful than fun B) I know the players and/or C) a TTV.
-
Stop tunneling gens and we'll see.
-
The more you restrict gameplay elements, the sweatier it's going to make players. Eventually, all matches are going to be the same gameplay loop. I mean, we've been seeing that for a long time now, with only three or four killers being chosen time and time again, and the same builds being used.
-
If they were downed immediately after unhook, why is that the killers fault? Player agency is a thing, as well as responsibility. It's on the survivors to know when and how to unhook. Personally, it feels like BHVR is doing more and more handholding on the survivors part. The tools killers are given are becoming…
-
I've had matches where survivors will slam out gens, then wait out the EGC timer. Wasting time is this games hobby.
-
How is it not balanced? Old pop was balanced, and they still nerfed it.
-
So you nerf an entire playstyle around a few bad games? Or survivors playing poorly? That would be like adding a sixth gen because of a few matches where survivors blitz gens in under five minutes.
-
No. Killer is handicapped enough, don't you think?
-
Because it's like old DS. The survivors may not have had it, but because of it's obsession role, you had to play around it like it was. MFT may not be in the match, but it's always in the back of ones mind in the middle of a chase.
-
Prepare for the slugging, then., since that's going to be more efficient, especially when survivors figure out how to abuse the upcoming system.
-
A single streamer is a big no for me.
-
To be fair, that's also the answer to camping. See somebody getting camped, just do gens. Yet BHVR saw fit to change that by adding this new feature. I see slugging as taking an uptick, which is going to lead to more survivors taking issue, and the anti slugging 'feature' last year coming back in a new form and further…
-
To be fair, these face camp changes, as they are, just encourage bleedouts.
-
Because Billy was balanced, and they (devs) were happy with where he was at. So they nerfed him. Didn't you know?
-
Vote with your wallet. Why do you want me to spend money to support a bad product, simply because something else 'may' be better? I say may, because it's subjective from person to person.
-
Maybe the devs didn't think it through? Thought it 'sounded' nice without actually understanding everything that would come into play?
-
Lets be real. This statement exists because big time streamers have threatened to pull out over an issue BHVR has been very lax about. Cheating has always been a thing in the game, but exploded with dedicated servers. That was, what, three years ago? While BHVR may have been taking steps behind the scenes, it just keeps…
-
Seems like it's just fluff. Not like anything is going to come out of it. They've been promising fixes for this for years.
-
If they go down near a pallet, and another survivor is near? You need to run the risk of a pallet stun. If you go after the nearby survivor, the slug picks themselves up. You just lost pressure. If you down a survivor, and somebody sabos the nearby hook? Body blocking will now become even more powerful, as you can't just…
