There were better ways to do that to flashlights without giving them an arbitrary cooldown that'll just make yet another action in this game feel clunky. Slightly extending the duration of all flashlights, but adding a minor cost to actually turning them on would go a long way.
-
Object doesnt work like that anymore. Aura-cheats are fairly common for the subtle hackers though.
-
You keep all those teachables you unlocked. You just effectively dont get a reward for P1 those characters.

An easy fix to thana would be a slight nerf to max slowdown, alongside frontloading the value. Make each subsequent injure slowdown for less, but start out slowing more. For example: * 1st injure - 7% slowdown - total 7% slowdown * 2nd injure - 5% slowdown - total 12% slowdown * 3rd injure - 3% slowdown - total 15%…

These are some cool changes, the current add-on seems too much in the mid-ground; not having a strong niche to fill.

I never tunnel when I play killer, however if there's no obsession I go from punishing someone for being dumb by slugging them to just hooking them. For example if I'm chasing a survivor and I suddenly hear the recently unhooked survivor close by I'll go for them (within reason). If there's an obsession then I'd slug them,…

It's a shame that the game encourages ######### play like that, but it is better to either DC or genrush against them; they won't pip off of a noed pity kill and a camp, and they certainly won't pip if the survivors DC. This game has lots of dumb stuff that makes bad plays worth more (see hookbombing rewards).
-
They pip because high rank survivors don't play around facecamping properly
-
It is rather annoying how hard it is to get survival points, could you imagine how little noed would be complained about if totems gave survival points rather than boldness?
-
It's a poorly thought-out nerf; this change isn't going to affect a mobile (read: high tier) killer, it primarily affects the lower tier, less mobile ones.
-
You only need one to make an obsession. You only need 1 DS on 1 survivor to delay the killer by a minimum of 40 seconds. Pop doesn't even get used half the time, and given the last 2-4 hooks in a game don't have much use given the game is over by then, and that the first hook generally doesn't as 2 gens tend to pop around…
-
You can have 4 DS in one game, and each DS can give the team an extra 40s, even if the survivor sucks. You gain 20s of time *just by running in a straight line* let alone actually getting to a loop and then looping, this isn't even accounting for the killer having to play far more cautious when there's an obesssion at all.…

Sounds like a great idea, should be added 100%
-
It's very strong, but IMO blight is so damn short he almost needs it in order to function as a normal killer. He can barely even see over windows, so every grass patch is effectively mini-corn.
-
He's too damned short. Shorter than ######### hag. I'm going to DC on swamp whenever I play him, along with a few other maps. Every map effectively has mini-corn with his PoV. It's awful.
-
His fov is fine. His PoV is way too low. It should be at his proper height; ghostface level.
-
He doesn't need turning buffs, he needs his PoV to be higher.
-
He's as tall as ghostface but has a PoV lower than Hags.
-
I'm solo too, it's not too difficult to spot three gens early, as well as just knowing normal gen placements and what gens are best to do.
-
You're slightly misleading what Detectives actually does, it reveals generators, chests, and totems, so not only does it help you find that hidden Devour or the ruin eating away at your gen times, it also lets you spot disasterous scenarios such as 3gens no matter the map. Spotting the chests is quite nice too as a small…
-
My solo build is DH, Inner Strength, Detectives hunch and DS, barring teammates who can't do chases to save their lives (literally), I escape fairly often. Detectives gives a buttload of info that can help your game go very well, such as spotting potential 3-gens to deal with them before it's too late.
-
It wasn't scummy so much as petty. I'm not gonna lie, if I were that PH, I'd probably have found that situation funny enough to dance to.
-
Visionary may work the entire game, but déjà vu works when it needs to, and still lasts a total of around 12mins per match. That's longer than your average game lol. It also helps avoid 3gens.
-
Survivors don't have to play with audio so not many know this
-
Visionary isn't even that good tbh. Déjà vu exists.
-
Sandbagging is just screwing over your teammates, whether intentionally or not. A good example would be unhooking in front of the killer, or bodyblocking someone being chased.
-
The farming you're talking about refers to the killer and survs working together to maximize their bloodpoint gain. Most people don't mind it though some dislike it and would rather play a proper game. If I'm stomping a game hard I tend to turn it into a farming game and let the noobs escape. There's another kind of…
-
As you can see by the replies you're getting, you're just new. Survivor is the relaxing, chilled out role. Killer is not as strong as you think it is. Watch some good survivors on YouTube and you'll see.
-
I've not played survivor in months, and ranking up from 20 with DS and a meme loadout has gotten me a 40% winrate so far. I've been able to max out boldness before the game is even half over most times. All my experience is telling me is that most of those survivor games I've been screwed by teammates not doing much while…
-
Tunneling and camping are scummy, but for future reference using a crosshair is not cheating. Anyone can have a crosshair.
-
Nah bro, demo is a burrowing, he wants a borrowing killer. Able to borrow flashlights and toolboxes to use against the survivor sounds cool.
-
I've been playing with a friend who started purely because crossplay introduced; I'm PC and he's on PS4, so far we've had majority PS4 players, and he's not had a single problem with the game (barring a ######### huntress getting carried by tunneling and NOED).
-
Ah, so tunneling is when I hook someone else only to have a cocky bastard run up to unhook right next to me? That cocky bastard is totally being tunneled in that situation right? Get off yourself.
-
As a killer main on pc all I get are survivors running unbreakable DS every game, trust me it gets boring real damn quick. I just wish I could punish poor play properly, I get punished so hard when I ######### up but I gotta play against at least 1 DS UB every game.
-
If you made rituals weekly quests that aren't as strict in terms of method of completion I think people would enjoy it. Might help with burnout too, I've got quite a few friends who don't play DbD anymore after the tomes were released due to intense burnout.
-
I don't think I've played against doc in months on PC, he's not too common. You're just getting insanely unlucky lol
-
Why not use your Dev powers to make the wraith one 30K?
-
I mentioned it was Otz as he (Otzdarva) is one of the biggest DBD streamers. Personally I have 500 hours in this game, and the most I've ever seen that's pc exclusive are macros that spam flashlight clicks lol. There are so few cheaters in pc that in 500 hours I've never seen one. This isn't just me living in some server…
-
I've asked around in Otz's discord. The average amount of cheaters to playtime people had was about 1 cheater every 500-750 hours, and that was for the 3 people out of 10 who'd actually played against a cheater. You're massively overblowing just how many cheaters you'd see, trust me when I say there are effectively as few…
-
If there's no obsession I'll punish dumb plays more, such as someone looping like trash or unhooking in my face. Otherwise I'll play normally.
-
I'm back to getting instant queues as killer, so the MM is definitely back to the original. They've probably forgotten how boosted most people are.
-
This is single-handedly one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while.
-
I'd prefer it if DS could be used twice and with no timer, as long as it gets disabled when healing/gen/bones are done. That way it works even better for tunneling but can't be abused to the extent it currently can be.
-
Given the complaints I see about pop, noed, Devour, neither do survivors lmfao
-
The ones who call it that, do so because it validates their abuse of the perk.
-
You think DS Unbreakable isn't a crutch, but noed is? Lmfao.
-
Chances are the actual changes are easy. What's slowing them down are the 5000 meetings they have to do to make sure that the 5% buff to small game doesn't break the game.
-
You're replying to a 2yr old post.
-
I agree, there 3 survivor perks amount to be 3 more bloody second chance perks. I think this game needs less; I shouldn't have to play against 4 bloody small pp builds every game lmao. I think fresh meat is fine, it's very similar to BBQ, and any alternative would be nice to see. Rustle is like you said a spirit-only perk,…
