Started with Silent Hill! Not because of Silent Hill but I remember my first few matches being on Midwich and being terrified of everything…
-
I'd rather go against real people, even if they're beating me. Going against the bots doesn't feel interactive and I don't feel like I learn anything from chasing them too. I also don't appreciate people who kill themselves first hook, it ruins the fun of being the killer and I know it ruins the fun for the other survivors…
-
It shouldn't, so maps like Hawkins, Midwich and The Game you should just patrol the bottom floors. I remember a couple years ago the hatch would spawn sometimes on the upstairs of RPD but that's probably fixed by now. Maps with defined main buildings shouldn't spawn them on upper floors either.
-
Sure, I would love some more build suggestions!
-
Thanks for the suggestion, I've been looking for builds that aren't just pain res + pop… I usually just use the builds Otz has on his website 😅
-
Wesker's miss recovery time feels wayyy to forgiving but atleast its only 1 health state and not Billy's insta-down
-
Interesting! I thought it was a bad map because I felt survivors rarely loop back around to certain areas during chase. Also I feel like this map gets offered so often, probably doesn't help that there is that achievement to escape 20 times. I've been having a lot of fun using trail. I wanted to try and stray away from…
-
This is a real cool idea, I didn't realise it only had the one bonus compared to the others that have 2+. I almost wish it was 1% more but I think giving it a secondary things would be more beneficial
-
Yeah this guy is mad that he got juiced 1 time and came here to complain
-
You pair game knowledge with learned skills and decision-making and that's what sets apart the great players from the good and the bad. Looping doesn't require zero effort, you have to be mindful of many factors like bloodlust, pallets and windows available, killer powers and more. That's literally the most intense part of…
-
The few times this happens I DC for everyones' sake but you shouldn't get in trouble for it
-
I want my Alan Wake icon
-
There is a difference between survivors who are good at looping, and those who struggle to loop well. It is a skill since it's something you learn through playtime, experience and learning from others. I get that maybe you don't like it but you can't deny the fact that there are people who are very skilled with that aspect…
-
Wouldn't this just make it a free win if you down or hook? I think it's in a fine spot but you could argue to increase the duration, but doubling it would maybe push it over the edge
-
I want BBQ bloodpoint bonus back 😭
-
I've basically run out of BPS on all my characters so I have to resort to the more common Escape! Cakes 😓
-
Love how I open the forum to see someone experiencing the exact same thing I just went through 😅
-
You've got to respect the commitment to the Basement Bubba bit... no one can touch his chest
-
You're not alone!!!
-
I think it could be nice although I imagine it would give you less bp than it cost
-
I agree, the perk is fun to use and promote altruism, but I think the issue lies with how easy flashlight saves have become, and how flashbangs can just be placed at the feet of the killer instead of in front.
-
Hopefully it's changed by then :'(
-
Only time I've made it work is against Spirits and after blinding killers
-
I recommend a break! It's okay to stop for a bit and come back later. I often play DBD in ~6 month intervals, coming back when there is new or interesting content or I feel like I miss it. I get to stay in the loop since a lot of the times, DBD content is more fun to watch than play :D
-
I swear the frequency went up when the new event dropped...
-
Shattered Hope was made to counter boons... after boons became less effective. I feel like I rarely see boons in games anymore so this perk seems pretty useless. I think it would need a full rework, because it's wayyy too specific
-
Well as a killer leaving them slugged is the best option if you want to apply pressure. Putting them on hook causes you to lose all of that pressure. Leaving them down there and slugged still forces a teammate to go down there, and if they have unbreakable they still have to use that perk and spend the time picking up. I…
-
I don't think it would be necessary for solving an argument, but may be a nice thing just to know what your teammates are doing so you can react accordingly.
-
I like a good challenge. Easy games are no fun... either end too quickly or I just feel bad. No better feeling than persevering against an enemy that's put up a good fight, and comebacks are especially rewarding! Also you definitely learn the most from those tough games, especially the ones you lose.
-
Okay so for unlicensed survivors: Jake Park, Feng Min, Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee Yeah only one man!
-
Jake is an asian survivor
-
This is so real 😭 hearing a survivor run at you from across the map at Mach 2 to burn your face off is terrifying. Survivors are scarier than killers most of the time
-
Slipknot shirt would fit her so well! She has to get one for sure 🙏
-
This one is more forgettable than West. The library is such a unique part of the map and fairly big part of RE2. All the sentiments about West Wing apply here... things are too cramped, pallets and windows are nothing crazy, and navigation can be tough.
-
Both RPD maps are tough... even with splitting it into two it takes a long time to cross, and those without prior or extensive knowledge about the layout will struggle big time. There are only a few good pallets, windows aren't anything crazy, looping isn't all that interesting and most killer's powers feel very limited by…
-
Surprisingly killer sided, which feels rare for an indoor map. The map is small enough to pressure a few gens at the same time and defend a 3-gen. The hallways are just giant deadzones, pallets are pretty much all unsafe and there aren't many places to hide. Mobility killers excelt on this map because of the clear hallways…
-
Making this map smaller was very needed. It's definitely more balanced now but still a bit skewed towards the survivor side. Some good pallets with high-wall loops that you have to bloodlust or break. The main building can get obnoxious to chase survivors around too. On the survivor side it feels pretty easy to chain…
-
Should start in a couple hours!
-
Back in the day when Midwich was released (about 4 years already!?) that map was the scariest thing to me.. ambient noises and scary moving things. Nowadays some killers still get me: ghostface, plague (when stealthy), myers
-
We'll see what happens but i really hope we get to keep them this time around. I have a feeling this killer's popularity will drop soon after this release so we'll surely see less of the hate that we're seeing/hearing about now
-
I see what you mean, maybe it is something that should be changed or stay underpowered. It's a bit of a dangerous game messing with something that has the potential to have this much influence on a match. Still a nice new side-questy thing to be explored :D
-
There are lots of ideas that sound great on paper (voice chat, ping system, auras) that sound good but might not work when applied. Voice chat would likely not be used as much as people think, pings and permanent aura-reading would be considered too strong. I agree that blindness could use some work since most people don't…
-
I honestly think the killer is great from a survivor's perspective. I haven't gotten the opportunity to play him because I want to dump a lot of bloodpoints into him but the counterplay feels pretty good, in fact maybe a little too good? A good Unknown can really mess up a team and force a lot of pressure with well-aimed…
-
White would look great! With black or pink accents. I'm sure they'll give her alternate outfits given her popularity already.
-
Been rocking this! Default head with Flower & Lace torso and the Red Thigh-Highs from the Inner Monster outfit!
-
I've heard people theorize that it might give you challenges for the side you play less to incentivize people playing more of each side. But that could just be a theory.. or really bad luck! D:
-
I also play both sides, and solo queue can definitely still be tough, but a lot of it comes with the mindset you play with! Of course your teammates might not be doing things optimally, or doing things at all, but I think it's important to focus on improving your own gameplay and just overall have fun :D. Seeing killer…
-
Right before I started playing! Heard that old Freddy was a lot more unique, hopefully they can bring some of his identity back in the future!
-
Lots of changes to the meta with 3gen and camping changes which is definitely healthy stuff for the game. I don't know if there will ever be a way to truly get rid of camping whether it be face camping or proxy camping. Yeah I agree maybe not everything is still great and fun to play against, but there have definitely been…
-
Definitely lots of buffs to killer, but I play killer probably 60% and survivor 40% (solo too) and I don't really mind dying, maybe it's my approach to the game but I just love the chases and getting better every time :D
