I used to visit the forums more often, specially the polls section. However, polls usually get repetitive over time with the same kind of questions (what killer do you want, what should the devs do, do you still enjoy the game, is the current meta ok, is this thing balanced or not, etc. etc.) and it really doesn't make me…

Not sure if this problem is still there for Survivors, but Killers still cannot see their own ping. You can check Survivors' ping after the match started by opening the menu, but you can't do that for Killer and the lobby doesn't show it either, only those awful yellow or red bars at the left during the match. I hope this…

It's better than having no changes whatsoever to the current meta. I'm still playing DbD somewhat regularly, but not as much as I used to. Maybe this massive rework will reignite my fire, so I'm looking forward to it. It can't be worse than what we currently have........ right?
-
I have close to 2k hours and I've never bothered with bringing flashlights to my matches. I suck at using them for saves and if you don't know what you're doing: it's a waste of time, you give the killer a free hit/down, and you hurt your team. Applying blindness is as useful as when a Killer does it: You never know if…

The one from the DbD Mobile game should replace the outdated one from PC. I mean, just look at it:
-
Wesker's been there since the beginning, the very first Resident Evil game. He deserves it. While I am happy that we're most likely getting him as a killer, I can't help but worry about what kind of Killer he'll be. I'm guessing he'll be based on Resident Evil 5 for obvious reasons, but... dunno. Wesker isn't as…

No system will ever make this game, an asymmetrical 4vs1, feel fair. The more I play this and other games, the more I come to terms with that fact. And people will complain no matter how terrible or great the system is.
-
Why would I shoot myself in the foot?
-
South America here. I only had one instance where I suspected another player was cheating. But that's it. I didn't have decisive evidence or anything. I'm well aware there are cheaters in this game, but in my region (and/or Matchmaking level I guess, I'm an average player) I've seen close to nothing suspicious. Hope it…
-
He's nothing without Engineer's Fang. Being able to break his own chains doesn't help his case either.
-
25%, more or less. This is a game where you lose more than you win and you gotta get used to it. Like a battle royale.
-
NOED, cause now people want totems to stay up so they can lit Boons. Therefore, more chances of NOED activating god knows where. Honorable mention to the Pain Resonance + Dead Man's Switch combo.
-
Zombies with add-ons are pretty annoying, but at least there are ways to play around them. Nemesis himself feels quite oppresive at most loops. His tentacle has a pretty strange and kinda BS hitbox, and it's really hard to predict and dodge. I guess my nitpick with Nemesis is that he always seems to have the upper hand in…
-
I like what's currently in the PTB. But, I'd love it if there was a separate key for using Coup de Grace. So you could use both normal lunges when needed and Coup at key moments.
-
A good Nurse is the best, hardest challenge this game can offer. My hat is off to those who were able to master her. Spirit's not bad either since her rework/nerf. Actual skill is involved now to make the best plays, so I don't mind her. On the other side of the spectrum, I hate Blights. All of them are the same old song…
-
The more toxic they are, the bigger their tears are at the post-game lobby chat. It's priceless.
-
I don't mind doing a bit of treasure hunt with the Jigsaw Boxes, as long as the damn Pig player doesn't camp the last box I need to search. It is also pretty annoying when they tunnel someone with a helmet, however that also means that they're not playing her well, she'll have no pressure on the others, and the gens will…
-
I don't have a lot of Cut Coins on any of my killers. BUT, if I do have them, I usually burn them when the survivors have either 1 or none items. So I don't have to deal with nasty surprises later. :P
-
I only mash when trying to pick up a survivor from the ground who's partially hidden by grass, or when I have to hook someone that is about to wiggle off. Otherwise, I time.
-
Never really cared about cosmetics. The "rarest" outfit I have is "Vigo's Apprentice" for Dwight, which was event related. I may or may not get Chris Redfield in the future, but that's it.
-
Circle is leagues ahead of the other two. I can see Exponential being a tiny bit better than Shadowstep tho.
-
10 minutes, no more, no less.
-
^Clowning is right. A user from here who's also a game developer explained that modifying those settings has no effect when playing DbD. So, for now, I guess we have to wait until BHVR makes an announcement, hopefully tomorrow... I was getting burnt out of the game lately so I don't mind not playing for a while, but I sure…
-
I don't agree with completely removing them, but they should have a limit (with tokens, maybe). It's worth nothing tho, even if Boons provide notorious advantages to survivors, that still means that they have to spend time finding and lighting up a totem, and that's time they're choosing to not spend working on a gen.…
-
I play both sides. Slinger is fine. He's a bit weaker than before, but he still holds his ground.
-
Yeah, like Last Year or Home Sweet Home? lol Like most people here, I do want some strong competition to DbD. Not just to try out other games, but also to give DbD a reason to improve and polish the game more frequently. To be fair tho, DbD has licensed Killers/survivors, and that's a big upper hand, no matter how many…
-
I like to hoard add-ons and offerings while getting a Killer to level 50 and then some. However, at one point, I want to actually use most of those, if not all of them. At least the most significant ones (I ignore meme or straight out detrimental add-ons). So if I play Killer, I always slap at least one add-on on them. I…
-
Only one Killer popped to mind when I read the title. Or, well, in this case, "Killers".
-
I played a good couple of matches this week. Except for one 10 minute loading screen which resulted in a cancelled match, the rest has been good.
-
Freddy with fake pallets hardly requires strategy and you still catch survivors off-guard pretty often. He may not be as strong as before but he's still a very easy to use killer, with low risk - high reward. Spirit requires a good understanding of her power and the game mechanics in general, so definitely not her.…
-
Mixed bag for me. For example, Quentin's portrait is spot on, and of course the old one didn't do the new one justice, at all. Jake looks good too. Great change here. Then you have David, who looks like a completely different person. Or Feng, whose portrait looks like it was made by one of those random modders from the…
-
Endgame perks are funnier and I like the feeling of having an ace under the sleeve, even though right now Gen perks are more or less mandatory to stand a chance against the strongest survivors.
-
Tho King Ezekiel would be fun to see, too. Negan, I just can't see him as a survivor. Love the character, but I see him more as a Killer than a survivor.
-
Why would you buff one of the seven/eight perks Killers rely on the most? We already have a morbidly stale meta, let's not add logs to the fire. There are 50+ perks you never see because they're either trash or situational. Those could use a buff, not Noed.
-
Judith's has drawbacks and more counterplay imo. The Piece's drawbacks are laughable in comparison, and can be easily mitigated by other add-ons (plus the exploit you can do to avoid the penalization). Being able to straight down kill a survivor at 5 gens who hasn't been chased or hooked ever is dumb.
-
I used to pronounce it like "Whither". Something similar happened to me with Kindred, until I started watching streams and DbD videos a couple of years ago, and realized how it's actually pronounced, or at least how most people pronounce it... then I changed my pronunciation for both of them (not a native english speaker…
-
Depends on the killer, but overall I've seen better results with Enduring.
-
None, to any of them I'm fresh meat :)
-
Huntress: Hitboxes are all over the place, sometimes you dodge something that you feel should've definitely damaged you; some other times you get BS hits. It evens out somehow, but I really hate playing against her in small maps cause you hear the Lullaby all the time. It gets on my nerves. Deathslinger: He's okay, I feel…
-
I wouldn't still be here if I didn't had a constant, fair share of fun matches. With that being said, it's not as fun as it used to be. The more you play the game, the more you understand it, and that's not always a good thing.
-
If facecamping Killers usually get a safety pip, I'd say Survivors who escape but are useless to the team in every other category deserve the same treatment. Still, the current system has lots of problems, so here's hoping the upcoming one is better.
-
Unfortunately, asymmetric + competitive = recipe for toxicity and childish/salty attitudes, doesn't really matter if you play sweaty and make 'em suffer, or if you play chill and non-toxic. People feel super protected behind their screens, so of course they'll throw you a barrage of their "best" insults when they get…
-
It's not the first time this idea has been proposed, and it won't happen. Yes, Legion's trailer was a bit misleading. And I like the potential idea of all 4 members of Legion actively working together in a single trial. But it's easier said than done. Plus, as a Killer right now, I don't think Legion is in a bad position.…
-
I haven't played it yet...
-
No. I play both sides. And I think it's a terrible, terrible idea.
-
Trickster's Starstruck is a great perk, probably his best one. And No Way Out is a fun, but somewhat useful endgame perk. After him, I'd go for Blight (cause Undying, plus he's a good Killer), then Myers (STBFL is a godsend), then Billy (Tinkerer is meta right now, Enduring is nice too), and finally Freddy (his endgame…
-
So I chose B assuming the absolute best case scenario for Myers, with that being: The trial takes place on Lery's (or any other indoor map, but I personally think Lery's is the best for this) You bring perks to help you cover your weaknesses. Survivors don't have Spine Chill. Survivors aren't in comms/it's a full team of…
-
Smaller maps should have a minimum of 3. Bigger maps should have 4, at least.
-
Increasing the numbers is clearly not the solution. What the game needs is another main objective, or some kind of cooldown between gens being finished (for example, when a gen is done, no other gen can be completed in the next 30/40 seconds, or something along those lines).
-
Sometimes I get paired with good survs, some other times I get extremely noobish ones. It's never consistent. Oh, and the worst thing that I usually see in solo queue: Sprint Burst users who walk around the map doing nothing. Gotta love them, eh?
