It is so insanely difficult to j flick with oni, that you honestly can't really complain. The amount of skill it takes to get the angle just right with it deserves only applause.
-
I stand by what I said.
-
Ten seconds is two damn long. Hatch should close right after the key-user jumps in.
-
Solution: Remove the achievement that requires all survivors to escape via hatch, and nerf the hatch so that it only spawns when one survivor is left.
-
What can I say, I guess you just got outplayed
-
There's no game without us? I dunno at this point thats all I can think of.
-
....OOOOOHHHHHHH
-
Isnt there only like one left 4 dead outfit ?
-
He also has a double chin on some cosmetics.
-
Two way street. Killers will continue this behavior until survivors stop, survivors will continue until killers stop. Its an endless cycle. This game's fate was sealed the minute it was decided that it would be a four-against-one pvp experience.
-
Then those players are dumb. Your job is important. I always run Small Game regardless of who's on bone duty, just so I can keep track.
-
I had this idea that maybe their power would have an evolving tier system like meyers or nemesis. Tier one you're undetectable, but can pounce on and feed on healthy survivors to charge your tier. Tier two you become a lot more vampiric in appearance, gain a speed boost, loose your ability to feed on healthy but can still…
-
See, you complain about it being a time waster because it forces you to do bones, yet its an important side objective nonetheless. Survivors who focus solely on pounding out gens and then get bodied by noed just plain got what they deserved. Be happy this game is giving you more to do.
-
I simply don't agree that Oni is a vampire. He's an Oni, a demon, who's gameplay merely required a horror-themed pickup. Lore wise, he doesn't even DRINK the blood. The blood of his enemies just stokes his unnatural rage. Thats why he grabs it in his hand. The way I see it, he traps it there in his palm, clutching it…
-
Not at all actually. I was just trying to explain to you that Gothic non-traditional slasher themes do fit. Besides, though I could see the gothic type vampire fitting in anyway, my first thought was something more along the lines of this: Not necessarily the basic Dracula type. If that was the aesthetic I was bobbing for,…

Lmao

And yet npc zombies and a killer that can actively seperate into two entites and switch between the two at will is too difficult? Sounds to me like they're making excuses. Edit: A mummy killer would totally be cool too. Though Im not crazy about the prospect of an indoor map it's be neat to run around in a Pyramid.
-
Oni absorbs blood yes, through his hand. Does that make him a vampire? No. They needed a unique way to charge his power, and thats why the cartoony floating orbs. But that aside, you brought up the fact that something as GOTHIC as a vampire wouldn't fit in the game when, in fact, Pinhead draws his designs from…
-
Not all vampires are gothic. Some are portrayed as cryptids in tribal lore. Aside from that you're gonna tell me Pinhead isn't gothic?
-
Interesting you should say that when we have a literal Oni, who is a medieval japanese demon, a cowboy, a meatflower that eats people (demo) and a pair of conjoined twins that can magically seperate.
-
Ah yes, malformed dogs and fanged corpses, the very definition of sexual attraction. Some of us aren't that desperate, and just wanna see our favorite monsters appear in the game.
-
I have a question related to Dead Dawg. Did they block off that window on the second floor permanently, or is that random?
-
Leatherface, simply on the grounds that I don't see twins very often.
-
Thank you
-
They could also work a bit harder on Killer skins, instead of coming out with cartoony /seasonal stuff. Gimme something actually creepy! Its not that hard... *cough*
-
Huh. I wonder what spurs the Survivors to play scummy.
-
I turned the game on one day before work, figuring I could get in a quick 20 minute match and then shower etc. This was before the days of crossplat, mind you, so lobbies wwre pretty long. I was Legion (Playing as my boy Joey) and we spawned in the Game. Back then I ran sloppy butcher/thanataphobia combo with pop goes the…
-
I agree. This has happened to me more times than I can count survivor side, I loop the guy flawlessly for five minutes straight, and my team has only gotten one gen done., then I get camped and get almost nothing in return. I say, every time the Killer gets bloodlust in one chase you should get a stacking bloodpoint bonus…
-
I don't really like to run hexes because all it takes is one bad totem spawn and its instantly gone for the whole match. When I do run noed, though, I usually do it on slinger for cocky gate snatches.
-
Someone said I was a garbage 'newbie' player because I wasn't running Borrowed Time. Entity forbid I try new and interesting options for builds, but I guess its my fault for, and I quote, "Dragging down the game's quality."
-
I think making it so his tentacle strike hits more than one target would balance it out.
-
From a historical standpoint, we may be giving Oni too much credit. His primary weapon of choice is inferior outside of the area where he operated in life, and though he does have the Kanabo at his back (literally), we know Nemesis can break through several feet of solid concrete with just his face. So... Also, the…
-
Lol, i still use that. It doesnt work as often as it used to but its still a very viable option.
-
Well said.
-
No angry muscle murderer side-boob, why go on living?
-
Yes! Its high time we get an Alien chapter! We can get a Killer who sticks to walls, maybe has passive npc eggs with face huggers that attach to careless survivors in late game. Give him a passive ability based on how many stuns survivors get off him so by end game he's bleeding acid and leaving it on windows, pallets and…
-
Cool thing is, in the first Terminator movie, Arnold was the villain. The heroes were both human, and he was this unstoppable killing machine from the future. It wasn't until the second movie that the future resistance adapted Skynet's technology and sent a new Arnie back to be the hero.
-
On the contrary. I only wish that more Killers had powers that could be drastically complimented/augmented by perk combinations. Im tired of running from the same old bbq, corrupt intervention, undying and ruin build.
-
I think Freddy, cuz unlike Pinhead, Freddy doesn't really need your permission. He doesn't have to be 'invited' like Pin with his box.
-
Charms are dumb anyway, so I haven't really noticed. Still if you payed for them, you should really file some kinda complaint.
-
Bye-bye.
-
Well, first off, it doesn't say anywhere that the Killer isn't supposed to camp. Its not against the game's rules. Thats just how it is. And just because you loose bloodpoints for doing it doesn't mean anything. Think about this, if survivors losing points for being unable to save someone because of camping is unfair, then…
-
You spelled 'Becky' wrong.
-
Clown's been swallowing severed fingers (due to his mori being misaligned) for eons. I think we can handle a little gramma-cheek pinching
-
The better question is, when are we getting a Rebecca Chambers skin? I WANT BECKY!
-
And yet, if one or more of those 4 players disconnects the game continues. If that 1 player disconnects, the entire match is canceled.
-
Wait, you can't be serious...! T-there's just no way... no way someone ACTUALLY uses Windows of Opportunity.
-
Yeah it used to be the only way to punish pallet campers, but now it just feels like yet another survivor crutch. They seem to think its fixed some sort of latency problem, but the fact that you can hear them screaming and feel the hit connecting without it actually working makes it feel even laggier. This is NOT a fix in…
-
No, not at all. Thats why I mentioned not to camp the hook. The sooner you move away from it, the sooner they'll unhook the object of your tunneling affections, and you xan get a little gen pressure in to boot.
-
Change your mind set. Tunnel em and camp em if you want. Treat them like difficult npcs instead of other players. It really does take a load off. Best results are usually to run a ton of slowdown and tunnel someone out of the game first thing. Dont camp them, that takes too long. Just stay close as you can, wait for the…
