  • Thank god. I appreciate the info
  • Omg forreal? What are the new requirements? I can't see because it's a hidden achievement
  • Freddy is by far the easiest IMO. Base speed, simple "trap" ability, passive ability, and a teleport makes for a really easy to learn yet strong M1 killer. Even if you don't have teachables that synergize with his teleport (ex: BBQ, tinkerer, thrilling tremors) it's extremely useful.
  • Guaranteed just being able to tank your fourth basic attack hit? I don't think it encourages smart play or unique game mechanics imo. The trade off (not being able to use an endurance perk) isn't worth it for one, and I think it would just encourage more lazy survivor play. I think the conditions for the MoM proc should be…
  • You can get by very well without it so I wouldn't say it's THE strongest but it's a very good perk and universally useful in any build. If you're solo queue and your goal is to escape my idea of a strong universal build is: Dead Hard / SB (or any other exhaust TBH) + Borrowed Time + Some sort of strong aura perk…
  • What, you JUST provided examples where you DC'd NOT on death hook, and even if you were, just give the killer their points. If you didn't need ANY help getting out and have that much experience, there's a bigger issue going on with you if you can't manage your anger/salt playing with low ranks/bad teammates or you're just…
  • If you can't handle playing SOLO as Solo survivor, don't do it. There is no excuse for DC'ing. Seriously. If you're stuck in terrible ranks due to rank reset and find it hard to deal with the teammates that accompany, there is no other option but to toughen your skin, get as good as you can get, and/or grind to get out.…
  • Yes please. I'm working on P3'ing both sides but remember the teachable grind for every character all too well.. this game is way too brutal for new players or those who haven't sunk hundreds of hours.
  • Consistent R1 Solo Survivor & R1 Killer (No mains) with almost 1k hours here. I've played DBD since it released in 2016, taken many year long breaks, and have been playing consistently for the past couple of years solo the entire time. I've seen every common play style on both sides and escaped brown/green rank hell as…
  • Do the following: 1. Close the game after it happened. 2. Windows Key + R 4. %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs - Enter this and press enter 4. Look for the file called "Deadbydaylight.log" If if occurred the last time you played, it should be the latest Deadbydaylight.log. If happened prior to the last…

  • Repost from the "Rank Reset" thread in general discussion. Rank 1 to 9 on both killer/survivor. Log attached
  • Here's the log I have from launching, getting the rank reset, and queuing for a minute before deciding not to and closing the game. I went from Rank 1 on both Survivor/Killer to Rank 9 on both.

  • There's nothing wrong with NOED and it's balanced
  • I've been able to get into red ranks on both sides each month after reset. I think it's pretty balanced.
  • Unpopular opinion here, but I personally enjoy facing NOED as a survivor and this is coming from a killer main who never uses NOED. It's pretty exciting trying to find the hex and perform a save. That said, I do see it as a crutch perk and am disappointed whenever a killer obviously relies on it.
  • Yep I've been having the same issue on both killer and survivor. I've run the validate steam files but haven't gotten the map again to see if it replicates.
