Agree to disagree. Survivors are a team. There are 4 of you and if 3 escape then that's a pretty solid team effort and in my opinion is a win even if I'm the person dying. Not really sure why so many survivors have the mindset that they should be able to 1v1 the killer and if they fail that, they've lost.
-
BHVR has acknowledged that the MMR system is lacking in that regard and that they're working on making escaping less important. That said, why do people feel so beholden to what an invisible system considers a win or loss? You don't see your MMR go up or down, and the MMR parameters are a joke for matchmaking purposes so…
-
And survivors can work on improving to make the skill gap in their favor
-
I think the major issue is that a lot of survivors only see themself escaping as a win. So even if they run the killer for 5 gens and then get camped/tunneled, the killer did something wrong and BHVR should step in, when in reality they just won the game for their team (3 survivors escape) and the killer lost. I get that…

Dbd is all about RNG. Sometimes it's in your favor, sometimes it's not. Don't get me wrong: there's always something you can do to improve and something you did poorly. Ironing out those mistakes will make your games more consistent but it also doesn't change the fact that some games are lost on load in because either side…

Re: Survivor UI. These things aren't mutually exclusive. Most survivors are bad and rely on strong perks to make up for their shortcomings, but you also reach a point where you hit a ceiling as a solo queue player. No matter how good a player gets, they will never be able to communicate what they're doing to the 3 randoms…

Can you suggest that they rework Kate's ponytail? It looks so blocky compared to Nancy's ponytail for example
-
Thanks a lot, this helped :)
-
Under bug fixes "Fixed an issue that caused The Shape to get Bloodlust in Tier I"
-
Didn't make it so you actually can't build BL in tier 1?
-
They wanted to make Doctor less annoying for rank 20s, they never had any intention of actually making him playable.
-
Because survivors want to afk on gens. They don't want to make any effort at all. The most vocal complainers about NOED are the same people who refuse to run small game or detective's hunch or a map to find totems because it breaks their gen repair immersion. It's ######### stupid.
-
Would be nice if they buffed an underpowered perk like DS to add a feature where skill checks are automatically hit for you as well. Would be a nice change for survivors. Thoughts?
-
Can you imagine spawning near a main building and having to set up to defend 3 gens near ironworks or wretched shop where everyone makes a beeline for the windows lmao
-
Don't worry, I bet they'll buff small game AND nerf ruin :) BHVR are good at multitasking
-
You pick a mobile killer and get lucky with spawn RNG :) Good luck pressuring anything if all 4 survivors spawn alone, near gens, and you're a slow killer.
-
I wish they'd gut exhaustion perks so survivors can just learn to not put themselves out of position lol
-
The only time I've seen a totem still be up by the time the game is over is when the killer absolutely steam rolls (usually because the survivors are overly altruistic and throw the game) the survivors and the game lasts 3 minutes.
-
Narrator: They didn't.
-
They should make Noed spawn from the start of the game while they're at it
-
But... DH has enough reward to justify the risk. The ######### am I gonna do with new ruin when I lose 2-3 gens in the first 90 seconds of the game? By then the survivors have so much momentum that regression won't make much of a difference. At least DH comes with a real threat and at a balanced cost: being able to one shot at…
-
Do I need to get the pressure before or after the totem gets cleansed 30 seconds into the game?
-
I was playing doctor with BBQ, pop, ruin, brutal strength (I was doing the Tome 4 BS challenge). I didn't run any of the addons that make the shock area bigger, either, so I don't think I could've shocked them in time at the window... Maybe I should've tried to get them all madness 3 I guess
-
The main issue is that they were splitting up on the gens really well. I'd chase one guy off his gen, kick it, go to the other gen... Now what? That guy could undo any regression by the time I'm back to pressure his gen, which is what I meant by survivors chipping away on the gens... Do I just take the L at that point? Do…

It's also possible that those videos had a face cam with her "old" nose (she just had a nose job), I've had friends had plastic surgery done who wanted nothing to do with old pictures of them. Maybe related?
-
It's a trash tier perk if you have more than 2 hours on killer and/or you have 4 other perks to choose from.
-
Survivors. I don't think BHVR has a malicious intent, but survivor mains outnumber killer mains so their voices are always gonna be heard more.
-
I get it off first try more than last try, RNG has favored me. I'd say 2nd attempt on average
-
There's currently a bug that makes the game crash sometimes when Legion uses their power
-
Was it a Legion by chance?
-
Is it unreasonable to expect an event to launch without bugs after it was delayed for over a week to fix said bugs? Lol
-
I give them a chance. I won't play "optimal" and sometimes I end up farming with them too. It depends though; if they brought a lot of unfun items, made a last second switch in the lobby, or act toxic in game then I'll kill them with no regrets lol
-
It's not that the event was delayed to fix bugs, it's the fact that they launched it even when bugs weren't fixed
-
Are you trolling? The event is still tied to the Rift because we can't get any serums without leveling up tiers in the Rift lmao.
-
Coming from someone with 2700h on survivor and about 300 on killer... NOED is fine. Cleanse the totems. If you're lazy you get punished, if NOED is a huge problem for you then running Small Game or Detective's Hunch should end up being a good investment.
-
Thank you guys, very helpful advice!

Billy - when I think of "default DBD", he's the killer I think of. He's vanilla and the other killers are different flavors and I prefer diversity. He's also by far the most common killer at purple ranks and up, which makes playing survivor miserable too. I think he's fine balance wise and I understand why so many people…
-
I tend to agree with this. It's the extra blinks and range addons that make her broken; a default two blink nurse with normal blinks is strong, but much more managable and not as oppressive.
-
This is what I do when I play killer. Out of position survivor, they're not near any major loops or pallets, or ran past them: continue chase until downed or end if they manage to get to a loop. Pallet heavy area, survivor drops pallets without looping: continue chase Pallet heavy area, survivor loops decently before…

No mither would be a lot better if the iron will effect was 100%. It's such a risky perk to run and I feel like the rewards don't outweigh the risk. Should be high risk, high reward, while right now it's high risk, mediocre reward.
