I mean… everyone thought the first iteration of 2v8 was gonna be heavily survivor sided too… and that aged like milk. Maybe wait to try it yourself first before assuming.
-
Just add in game voice chat, maybe in game quick text commands that can be customized and hotkeyed to a button to instantly say something like "I'm being camped", "I'll go for the save", "I have DS" things like that would significantly improve the solo q experience
-
Yes, he can transform into bat form way too fast, and makes him very good for tunneling survivors out. Combine this with that one add on that makes his bat form block window vaults, and he's very strong. You'd think such a strong add on would come with some downsides, but nope. I think he also needs some audio cue for…
-
Just add in game voice chat among survivors to bring solo q more up to swf and that's it. Up to bhvr if they wanna add voice chat between survivors and killer in the end game results. But I assume that's where most of the trash talking will happen. But they could always make it an option or something to opt in or out of in…

I'm all for a nemesis buff, if it means getting rid of his zombies. I dislike his zombies so much and are such an RNG factor to his power, I rather they not even exist and let the nemesis player show their skill level without having to rely to RNG when it comes to their ability/power.
-
Not really
-
Won't ever happen until you put the devs against a good killer player who tunnels off the rip. So we can have another situation where flash lights got nerfed cause of how easy it was to bully a dev when they were asked to play killer.
-
Heard they were apparently adding a light source that survivors can carry and place down around the map, similar to alien's turrets I'm guessing? But yea idk this mode is just the least exciting/fun out of all the modes they've tried. The horror novelty of DBD wore off for me after hundreds of hours and making the map…
-
Skull Merchant, but only by a slight margin. They're both terrible killers mechanically for this game.
-
No idea why they decided to buff her and increase her hatchet count, but then not decrease the size of her hatchet hitboxes.
-
It's more common among killers who are playing to win only. So high MMR killers I guess. Just watch people who do winstreaks and you'll see them tunnel very often in order to keep the streak going, as it is the best strategy for killers if they want to win their games.
-
Had this issue as well same map but in a different spot. Cage was right next to a hook just like in the image. Hook was just blocking the way so hooks shouldn't even spawn in this mode.
-
There's a youtuber who is able to consistently get high winstreaks on several killers. Even holds multiple winstreaks world records. Why should killers have corrupt basekit when this player is able to achieve a high winrate despite not having corrupt as basekit?
-
There's players out there who are good enough at killer and can manage to get extremely high winstreaks. Imagine giving them all these perks basekit. They'd pretty much have 0 chance at losing the game anymore.
-
Devs need to find a way to make tunneling way less rewarding, and going for different survivors more rewarding. Such as maybe gaining some kind of boost for not hooking the same survivor twice, and maybe I guess they could make it so if a killer hooks the same survivor twice, other survivors gain a boost in completing gens…
-
I think this change should stay. Newer players definitely should not be going against 6k plus hours killers/survivors. Higher skilled players who don't like this change just prefer to be stomping on casual players to boost their ego or something.
-
Yes
-
Don't force yourself to play this game if you don't enjoy it. Just quit and move on, there's plenty of other games out there. Maybe just come back if you'd like once in a while to check how things have changed. And if you actually enjoy the new changes then welcome back!
-
Shouldn't be able to depip at all for both sides. Depipping should be reserved for the ones who choose to DC.
-
In that case, are there any plans to rework the grade system to allow for easier rank ups? It's another stressful thing to worry about in what is supposed to be a casual game. Especially considering the grade system is irrelevant when it comes to the player's skill rating.
-
I'd like to see something done about tunneling/facecamping first before eruption. It's just such an unfun strategy killers can rely on to sometimes guarantee an easy win. But the worst thing about it is the grade system declaring you should lose a pip for being tunneled. The locker abuse was an unfun strat that bully…
-
There's also One Pump Willie who is on a 200+ Winstreak with Onryo, and some smaller streamers who also can get to high winstreaks on killers. But one team of survivors getting a 50+ winstreak? Nope can't have that according to OP. Honestly I've yet to see any survivor team get an extremely high winstreak.
-
Yea a perk that can just do the noise effect with the red bubble on windows without actually vaulting them would be pretty neat. Wouldn't be anything OP either.
-
Got any videos demonstrating this flashlight click to fake a vault bug?
-
I didn't actually log back in to check... but it didn't happen during the game so I'm thinking maybe it didn't penalize me? Don't know for sure, and hopefully someone else here can confirm if it does or not.
-
Mine just straight up crashes with a unreal engine error dialog box appearing afterwards, not sure if I got my reward either. Haven't logged back in to the game to check. Don't really feel like playing if this is gonna be a common occurrence. Happening to other friends I know as well.
-
Definitely shouldn't be part of the game anymore to depip. Now that Grades don't mean skill. Should be reserved for players who DC. Survivors can't control if they will get tunneled/ facecamped/ or left on hook by bad solo Q teammates. And killers can't control if they're gonna get genrushed. Really flawed system.
-
Gotta keep in mind, not everyone stays to watch how the match ends and say "gg". Especially solo Q players.
-
Well at least slugging probably won't be as strong with the new mori update. If the devs even decide to bring it to live, considering the community being strongly against it. So this playstyle probably won't work out as well. But I still see a lot of casual players falling victim to it still even with the update. As for…
-
Both sides have the tools to make the game as unfun as possible for the other side unfortunately. Both gen rushing and facecamping are flaws with the game that need to be addressed for the sake of the game's health. Personally I can't think of any solution to balance it for both sides without reworking the entire game flow.
-
My bad, it decreases the bottle count by 2. Not really that big of a deal though.
-
Unfortunately. No argument that survivors can also bring in their own BS and that maps definitely tend to favor survivors more than killers. But I think we all can agree both sides can be toxic. And it’s just the fault of the game devs not knowing how to balance their own game and create balanced maps.
-
If we were to give killers anything basekit, this seems the most reasonable.
-
I'll give you a point, since it's definitely not impossible. Granted the survivors got good rng with a survivor sided map (which is the majority of maps anyways) and played it extremely well. But if you gotta play that hard against a person who is just standing next to a hook, is where the issue lies imo. And that's not…
-
There definitely is other broken add ons, but yea that's an entirely different topic lol. Until the devs can figure out a way to disincentivize hook camping, while also keeping gens at a fair pace, the game will probably always be an unbalanced mess.
-
Sorry, I'll correct it then. I do not believe it is possible even if the 3 other teammates who aren't being camped, can complete all 5 gens even if they had hyperfocus and hit greats 100% of the time. Since perks like dead lock and no way out buy enough time for the killer to guarantee at minimum 2 kills. But as I said, I…
-
Even though this is mainly about how strong facecamping is. The fact that clown's pinky finger comes with no negative effects is something though. Huntress gets a negative effect if she brings her iri hatchets. Yet clown gets nothing negative about his iri. But no argument that add-on less clown is among the weaker killers.
-
It would be great to watch and see if Hen's swf could beat this playstyle perkless/itemless. Especially if it was this specific player honestly. Since they throw a fit whenever they lose in this game. Would feel like well deserved karma lol. If you have to be on Hen's swf level to even have a chance of getting a 3 man out…
-
Unless you're bringing Hyperfocus and hitting the greats 100% of the time, I do not think the hook timer is long enough to outlast 5 gens. And deadlock shows where the killer should go look around to find the next survivor. But I could be wrong. But gen rushing is an issue people do not enjoy, yet there is no other way to…
-
Gonna have to disagree on that. Even if you were in a swf rushing gens to try and get out asap from this, dead lock would pretty much put a stop to your gen rushing, and allow for more time waste for the hooked survivor to die. Then there is no way out to give the killer even more time. So at minimum the killer is pretty…
-
Was an interesting video to watch. Honestly though, if he had brought perks like "dead lock" and "no way out", those two perks would've helped a lot more than the builds he used on most killers and made their face camping game stronger.
-
Honestly at this point I'm surprised more people aren't doing this. Easy kills/wins with no effort? Why are killer players even trying so hard to get those wins when they can get them easily with a build and strategy such as this? I hope one day BHVR will address this, but I doubt that'd be anytime soon, considering how…
-
Yea he's mostly doing it to generate "salt" as he said once in another video. He wants the survivors to get mad in the end game chat. So he can tell them stuff like "gg ez" and all that.
-
I get what you mean. But unfun strategies such as these with almost no counter play really gotta go. Facecamping isn't wrong necessarily especially when the killer is in the end game and wants to guarantee a kill. But being able to do so at the start of the match and pretty much guarantee multiple kills with little to no…
-
Yep, perks that give killers gen slowdown without any effort required from them really allows for more time to do unfun strategies such as these...
-
Just to clarify, I'm not the one playing as killer in the video. Was just a streamer I happened to come across who is on a winstreak doing this strategy.
-
I think the ones who tunnel usually don't care about BP and are just going for the kills to try and win the game. Plus bodyblocking is usually a strat to try and prevent tunneling, so this wouldn't even do anything in cases where teammates are actually trying to help the one getting tunneled.
-
Goes by "Pro Vegeance" on YT. Edit: My internet went bad for a moment and I accidentally double posted my bad… wish I could delete this one.
-
Goes by "Pro Vengeance" on YT. Fair warning though, he's a pretty toxic player, but still a pretty good killer. His chat pretty much worships him, which is pretty cringy as well. Since they argue that he's the best dbd killer player in the world lol.
-
There's this youtuber who's not very well known, that manages to get 100+ winstreaks on most killers, that the community considers weak, such as bubba, wesker, nemesis, clown lol. Wanna know how he manages to do it? Tunneling/Camping.
