Just got out of a game that I didn't give any offerings but another guy used a birthday cake before killer DC'd. Not saying it was intentional but that guy still lost cake. I'm not asking for free stuff, I'm asking to keep my stuff. And if A survivor DCs I don't think it's so farfetch to think the killer should get to keep his stuff either.

Also gen tapping, if you can't get great skill checks, helps prevent the removal of progress when you get a skill check. You can also look for the totem, which I do, but some games it's just so well hidden it's faster to gen tap.

Doing gens to open escape gates is the main priority of survivors. Besides bringing in lunchboxes there isn't really any way to make sure you're doing gens faster, not easily. Definitely not easily.
