Whatever the reason, I just don't want to lose my stuff when someone DC's. Let me feel like nothing happened at all. ):
-
Just got out of a game that I didn't give any offerings but another guy used a birthday cake before killer DC'd. Not saying it was intentional but that guy still lost cake. Just updating since I still think "WHY THE **** DO I LOSE MY OFFERINGS STILL?" is a valid question that has yet to be answered.
-
any devs care to comment on the subject?
-
The more I think about it the more problems I'm running into though. Because my idea about the killer getting to keep their stuff if a survivor DC's wouldn't work if everyone had to leave a game. If everyone had to leave a game, wouldn't it be fair if survivors got to keep their stuff as well? Would it only be survivors…
-
I'm sure that's a lot of people who would get banned and a lot of money lost. The more people who can play the more they'll buy and the more friends they can get to play as well. TBH I think this is a developer issue. If they want to punish DCers, fine. But what I want is to not be affected by it. If they want us to keep…
-
Yes. If there were any balance issues with this, I'd honestly remove 1 generator necessary to power up the exit gate (depending on when a survivor DC's) but to keep it sweet and simple- I'd rather just focus on getting to keep my offerings, and I think it's fair if a killer gets to keep their items/offerings as well…
-
If a killer DC's the game is over. You're right, the only reason why someone should be able to keep their stuff is if it's the killer DCing because even if there's only one person who didn't DC the game can continue. No survivor should get to keep their items/offerings because another survivor DC'd. I don't want to…
-
100000% agree with you, and if a survivor disconnects I wouldn't mind if a killer gets to keep his offering as well... only if survivors get to keep theirs if a killer DC's. Sick of this bunk.
-
******And TBH if you've already survived I'm not sure why a DC'd killer would effect you.****** No. I'm saying I don't see how else SWF could exploit getting to keep their offerings due to a disconnect. How could it be exploited by a SWF group?
-
It's that whole motivation thing. If people that already survived, SWFs or not, get to keep their stuff, don't you think that would be even more motivation for a killer to not DC out of rage? I'm not seeing how else that could be exploited. And TBH if you've already survived I'm not sure why a DC'd killer would effect you.…

I'm not asking for free stuff, I'm asking to keep my stuff. And if A survivor DCs I don't think it's so farfetch to think the killer should get to keep his stuff either.
-
Even if DCing gets punished everyone else get's punished too- and no amount of bloodpoints can fix that. I want to play the game, I want to use my abilities, I want to have fun not just earn points. Don't get me wrong, I think DCing should be punished but as it is, I think not punishing everyone else is even more…
-
25k BP?? Also I know there's some balancing issues- but again, I have nothing against the killer getting to keep his items and offering if there's DCers. That's a ######### reason to lose all your stuff when you didn't necessarily do anything wrong.
-
I appreciate your response, all the responses this post can get will hopefully get the attention it needs. I mean, when a survivor DC's there's still 3 other people in the game hopefully, and the survivors have less of a chance at surviving, but at least the game keeps going- if the killer DC's the whole game ends. But to…
-
I'm 100% done with this happening. Can someone tell me the best way to get heard on this issue? Because it has GOT TO GO.
-
Does anyone from the dev team actually respond to these because this isn't like a 'maybe this will help fix the game' suggestion, this is a seriously ######### situation that makes no sense. It's frustrating to have to keep backing out and inviting your friends back into your group- but it does not compare to losing rare…
-
Explain to me why this is fair or why this hasn't been fixed yet because there are certain offerings I have been saving for MONTHS to use with friends and I lose it because someone else, not even in my friend group does something the killer doesn't like and they decide to rage quit so I am punished for it? I'm fuming right…
-
This seems like a fair fix. Again, particularly if the killer isn't chasing someone.
-
Thank you, I didn't know anything like this existed.
-
I don't care what anyone says, I'd love to see Monokuma as a killer in DBD.
-
Anything would be better than what we have now. I really think there should be a penalty, so even a 3 or 5% penalty sounds great. (:
-
Also gen tapping, if you can't get great skill checks, helps prevent the removal of progress when you get a skill check. You can also look for the totem, which I do, but some games it's just so well hidden it's faster to gen tap.
-
You're assuming no one is aiming for great skill checks already, so uh, yeah. Thanks. Great advice /s. Also you have some seriously long lunch breaks.
-
5,000 posts don't come from just waiting for lunch, and you've only joined in june!? Lol okay. I guess I'll just have to take your word for it. Also, next time you can just say "get gud" because that's what your advice basically is.
-
Hey Orion, are you stalking me or is this all you do with your time?
-
I just started using gen tapping- it works way better than powering through.
-
Youre cute, I'm frustrated with you. I have no reason not to be, or with the other person who ignored half my post to give me advice to counter it which I already discussed at full length. I'm frustrated because even though our conversation already ended a while ago you still want to have a last word in. We disagree…
-
lord, whatever, do you want a cookie? I want to talk about solutions for face camping, not argue with killer mains that gen rush is a thing and that camping ruins the game for other people.
-
I objectively told you facts, they're not just to 'fit my narrative' it's you, who plays killer, talking about how 'why wouldn't I got the easier route" RIGHT. So if YOU the player aren't going to be held accountable for your poor behavior then the devs need to step in with a better solution. I'm getting tired of trying to…
-
Hahahahahaha, have a wonderful night, and go play more survivor. You really need it.
-
I'm fighting about camping. Orion wants to call it free hooks. > @Orion said: Seriously, I can't believe you. 'Gen rushing', 'free unhooks', if you do play survivor, it's not often. Face camping/ camping ruins the game for a lot of people. THAT is the cheap and easy way, again, shown by how many points you don't get when…
-
Again, you can call it whatever you want. If the objective was to hook people once and be done, you'd be getting all the points for it, but you don't. Hooking people once and every one dying gets you ######### for points vs chase, and multiple hooks- even if no one dies you get way more points. And again, if you actually…
-
You can keep calling it 'free unhooks' but if thats how you view it you suck as killer. You're supposed to hook people multiple times, you get way more points than if you just hook everyone once, thanks for your opinion though.
-
People think it takes 2 minutes to do a gen with 3 survivors while also knowing right off the bat that a killer is camping. I agree, the killers should be punished for this behavior. Theres other toxic things killers do, but this one right here, if you play more than just killer, know that it ruins the game for everyone…
-
lol. you came here to tell me my suggestion isn't a solution because of a slew of opinions, and one fact. The whole "handing out free unhooks" I don't hear that from people who play killer and survivor. Just killer mains. "Gen rush" okay okay okay. So survivors do 3 things. They unhook, they heal, the only way they can…
-
Genuinely I feel like you all 3 are just killer mains. I get that survivors abused a system that attempted to thwart people who use camping. That's all you needed to say. I don't agree with you on your other_ opinions_.
-
I'd like to think the majority doesn't like camping but if it's an issue then clearly not enough people dislike it. I don't have any statistics on this, so I'll have to take your word for it. How is my suggestion not a solution?
-
> A killer comitting to "facecamping" surenders the game, the remaining 3 survivors can simply knock out all gens and leave the game. If you dont wanna do that and throw yourself against the camping killer, then thats your decision  I already covered why "simply knocking out all the gens" isn't realistic. Here: ** It…

I'm not sure what words/language you use. I get getting frustrated and sharing that frustration. I don't report everyone that gets salty- it's how you get salty. It is just a game, and to try to cut someone deep because of a game is.... if that's the kind of person (general)you want to be, then that's the kind of person…
-
Lol thank you for that. Yea I play PC.
-
I've heard of this sort of thing happening, but I think it's worth the risk. I think when someone reports another person it saves the dialogue which it's much easier to save and read through with the small amount of interaction time we have before and after games, so those wrongly accused have some kind of defense. Truly…
-
I completely agree! Have the devs said anything about updating tactics to confront toxicity?
-
Sorry for the dumb question, but what's PSN? Also, it's good to know they'll get a ban, but I also want the option of using that as a reason to black list them. Really! Not everyone is toxic!
-
Yeah, once they start saying things that are hate speech, or wishing death/harm upon another player and you respond with whatever be it "everyone please report" "That's not okay" "you're being childish" Whatever you say to them they don't give 2 s**ts. Why? because nothing is going to happen to them. Doesn't make sense to…
-
I've been playing for a while, and like I said, it gets bad but there's a line I draw. Hell, if we had a way to effect these players I bet it would help with the toxicity.
-
When PEOPLE talk like this 1. Clearly they don't play the other (victim or survivor) and we're not some foreign race. We're talking about the same game with/from different perspectives. Generalizing a group to feel superior doesn't do anyone any favors.
-
Yeah, I hate playing against him. He feels like he has handicaps that prevent a fair game. Seriously he isn't chasing you but you're close enough? Location given away. Is there a survivor hiding over here? Don't look just shock the ######### out of the area. What that didn't work so you know no one is close to you so…
-
Doing gens to open escape gates is the main priority of survivors. Besides bringing in lunchboxes there isn't really any way to make sure you're doing gens faster, not easily. Definitely not easily. I don't believe being in a bad mood equals okay to tunnel, most killers that don't do the above tactics play enough survivor…
-
That's not a bad idea! Anything to fix the current situation.... 10 crappy games in a row is being generous. T:
