  • The skin looks great but that tail is a deal breaker.
  • 2v8 seems fairer and less stressful to me for both sides because BHVR has complete control over the balance. We don't have dual Blights running silly perks for example, which this mode is in danger of becoming if BHVR get sloppy.
  • This will be the first event I've not completed in DBD, I'm not even half way through it. I'm finding it too grindy but maybe that is just me.
  • The biggest problem with billy is he is able to traverse the map quickly and for a long time as soon as a game starts. Years ago, back when they reworked Freddy someone on these forums asked the devs why Freddy's teleport starts with a cooldown and one of the devs said it is because they don't want a killer to traverse the…
  • Chaos Shuffle is the most fun I've had in DBD for years. Great the event has been extended but I will still be very sad to see it go.
  • I was unconvinced until I tried it, and yeah it is a lot of fun.
  • The event is okay, it is something different. I like it more for the event tome and as soon as BHVR start to make these small event tomes more grindy, which they always do in the name of maximising player engagement, I can't see myself playing these events. I'll enjoy it while I can, until BHVR sucks the fun out of it.
  • My experience with Distortion is I hardly ever get tunnelled if I take it. If I am playing in a SWF, at least one of us takes Distortion so we know right away if the killer has Lethal Pursuer and we can quickly tell if a killer has BBQ or any other aura perks if the tokens get consumed or not. This info can greatly impact…
  • My twitch drops are still marked as "pending" too, I'm on Epic and I have everything linked up correctly.
  • It looks great but really, is it not just a massive waste of time? The rewards for going into the void arent worth it and all you are doing as the survivor team is making victory easier for the killer. There is no risk vs reward, it is risk for hardly anything.
  • It is okay. I still see camping happen just now it happens further out from the hook. This solves face-camping, but even then you can still be a victim of face-camping with certain killer builds that depend on the survivor unhooking themselves, such as with Myers and Trapper, but I admit that does require a lot of prep.…
  • I don't think there is anything drastically wrong with DBD balance wise, the gameplay is still fun and engaging. I think the issue is live services are on a decline and this is why players don't stick around like they used to. Most live services want to monopolize 100% of our free time and most people with commitments…
  • I bought the Xeno DLC and some skins, but yeah I haven't played it much. Xeno isn't as much fun to play as, but it is fun to play against. I think the problem is the Xeno feels slow, not literal walk speed but how the game plays out is slow. My games are quicker with other killers, even with the hag.
  • I think it is worth it and I hope BHVR doesn't change her size. I knew I would be a huge alien queen when I bought it, it is exactly what I want from this skin.
  • A skull merchant can mark the 3 gens she wants to guard at the start of the game with drones and there is nothing the survivor team can do about it.
  • They could be redesigning the killer now for all we know. If that is the case I wouldnt expect anything to be announced for a while but yeah having just experienced this killer 10 minutes ago she really does need a complete rework.
  • Just had my first game against skull merchant too, I'm amazed it has taken me this long for it to happen but it was worth it just to see the 3 gen strat in action. Everyone killed themselves on the hook. Gave me a good laugh to see how badly designed this killer is.
  • I don't see how the devs can remedy camping, or even if they would want to without drastically changing the gameplay. Their current solution won't work in the long run. It is a flaw in how they have designed the game. If an asymmetrical PVP game allows the killer player to keep another player stuck in place so other…
  • The mending action could be one button press rather than keeping ahold of the button, but you're slowed down for 10 seconds by 15% until fully mended. You can cancel the action to get back to normal running speed but in doing so you lose all your mending progress and have a cooldown of 10 seconds until you can start the…
  • Survivors outnumber killer players so BHVR has to cater more to survivors because they need more of them but I agree it sucks. I think loads more killers could be brought closer to A tier.
  • This event tome is a bit too grindy, even with the recent adjustments. I get it is possible, but is it fun? Not really.
  • Does this mean the end of basement bubba?
  • I want to say because it is blue lol. It is a meme that blue in-game cosmetics are more expensive simply because they are blue, but in this case, it is probably unintentional, there will be some other reason.
  • I don't think this game has ever had a lot of players after release and I doubt people care enough to review bomb it.
  • That would mean a load more charms to sieve through, and I find it difficult as it is finding the charm I want.
  • Is this a solvable problem without changing the gameplay design significantly? BHVR has introduced anti-tunneling perks but unless you take one of these perks all the time you will eventually have this experience of being tunneled and feel like there isn't much you can do, and taking the perks may make you more of a target…
  • Posting feedback in the official feedback forums is enough, thanks for your concern, I am sure they will receive this.
  • Are you a developer for Meet Your Maker? That feedback is to them. I am sure they would like to know why their game isn't selling well and if I can offer part of that reason then I gladly will. I played the beta, that is enough to give this feedback, I do not need to own the game to validate it.
  • It isn't healthy and the proof is already in the game. Ask yourself why didn't the devs design solo play with infinite self-revives? Because it would break the game. It would become a push W simulator, and make base building meaningless. The devs can't have their cake and eat it with the disparity between solo and duos,…
  • DBD2 would be a bad idea because BHVR can't replicate DBDs success, so there is no guarantee DBD2 would be any good. Those that are addicted to DBD may see the sequel as a good time to finally stop playing.
  • Duos should not have unlimited revives, it makes the base building feel unrewarding because for duos it is a push W simulator. It undermines the effort put into building a base and the entire game becomes meaningless. I am sure many players gave the devs this feedback during beta. This is how it could work: each player has…
  • I enjoyed the beta with one exception, duos had infinite revives. I felt this trivialized the maps to the point where all you have to do is push W to win. Did they change this for the launch? This is a deal breaker for me.
  • There isn't much substance in that video. He is saying the medpack changes are terrifying (his words) and he is worried about his DBD streaming career because of these changes. Does that not seem like an overreaction at this stage, when it hasn't even been in PTB?
  • The evidence otzdarva posted a while ago showing an auto-dead hard cheat made me stop playing killer. Now I always suspect a survivor is cheating when they get perfect dead hards, even after the killer has baited it and waited it out for ages, but they hit perfectly every single time.
  • All I want from the Knight killer is a skin that looks like the Black Knight from Monty Python's Holy Grail, then we can talk.
  • Instead of complaining about NOED, cleanse totems or at the very least memorize where totems are during the game so you can quickly destroy the NOED or bless it at the endgame.
  • Fun to play as and against. I think hoarder + 2 cube solving slowdown add-ons is a bit powerful (unless that has now been nerfed been a while since I played). Could do with more legendary skins showing off the other cenobites, specifically the female cenobite from the first movie would be awesome.
  • The stealth killers like Myers and Ghostface provide as close to a horror experience as you can get in DBD, so I play them both now and again, mostly Myers though.
  • I want VHS to be a success and I don't think the blood hunt had anything to do with the VHS beta. VHS is being held to a lower standard than DBD at the moment because it isn't released yet. The VHS devs are not under the same pressure to meet any kind of expectation other than to be different from DBD. A lot of praise from…
  • I don't think MMR is suited to DBD. It seems to work very well in other games, for example in Hunt: Showdown. Balance is the problem, but it isn't just meta perks, it is the randomness of the maps and that some have heavily killer or survivor sided.
  • It grants a DLC key not a unique skin. The winners will most likely receive a variant of the model used to make the ingame cenobite character, but even then it will be an NFT of it (a digital receipt), not, for example, the original z-brush file.
  • I wonder how many of you live carbon-neutral lifestyles? If you don't (and I am sure many of you don't) do you pay for your own carbon offsets? Do you see the hypocrisy of this? Being outraged by the environmental impact yet I bet the majority of you live a life where you are not concerned by your own impact on the…
  • I laugh at these content creators being so principled about the environment because my bet is this won't be the last killer BHVR does this NFT partnership with. If another well-known killer gets added under the same circumstances, these streamers won't put principles before content (they never do), suddenly the outrage…
  • Boon totems are a nice idea but the devs haven't done their due diligence at all on them. OP is right, the devs don't have a consistent message here.
  • I can't tell if this is sarcasm? Of course, they will be the new meta.
  • On some maps the boon totems could be God like for SWF teams. Example: any map with a main building, with vaults and line of sight blockers, have one of these totems active there and you have a great spot for healing (while in chase if you play it right stacked with a med kit) or losing the killer. Nothing the killer can…
  • Wow, okay, great for a SWF group.
  • I've not played the PTB, am I right in thinking the killer can only remove a boon from a totem, not destroy the totem to prevent survivors from using it again?
  • A lot of players are addicted to DBDs various player investment mechanics, even if they don't realize it or will admit it. The best thing I did was to give up on the rifts, just use the tome for more BP now and again, and don't bother with the rift, it isn't worth the time investment. Don't bother with dailies either. Let…
