i’m genuinely curious because when I loaded into disturbed ward testing out the Myers rework I noticed that there were more fillers, and pallets than on the live version. Maybe I missed something when I was looking at the patch notes, can someone explain this to me?

I think Anti-Slugging was much less problematic or exploitable compared to Anti-tunneling update. And even if it needed extra polishing, I think it would be possible to change it before PTB goes live, as it was mostly fine imo.
