Honestly, I just got bored. There are like a million perks in this game but you only see maybe 12? That's both Killer and Survivor. There are 26 killers but I only see 4-5 of the entire roster with maybe 1 game out of 50 any of the lower tier killers. I somehow get the same 3 maps on a seemingly endless rotation (RNG I…

So much this for me as well. I'm the maximum distance from the hooked person with 2 other survivors crouch walking around the hook for a minute before they run away despite the killer being out of Kindred range. I honestly do not understand 90% of the solo q players out there.
-
I'm closer to 60% since last weekend. It's been crazy how many Blights I see and I'm not in super high MMR so I'm actually suprised.
-
I'm honestly surprised the game actually has so much life in it. I enjoy it in moderate doses but if I'm honest almost every match is the same or 90% the same, the killer roster seems deep but only 4-5 killers are actually competitive, and the community is super toxic (lots of games are but add that to the overall list).…
-
Like others have said. You either have to pick specific killers with specific kits or put yourself at a massive disadvantage and run any other killer/kit combo and know a 2k is a long shot. I'll play a few matches as killer a week but they are always with meme builds and I know that I'm likely not going to see more than a…

My MMR as a solo survivor puts me in the "All Killers Run NOED" world so I bring 1 anti-totem perk and cleanse them as I go. If we are making good Gen progress I'll swap over to finding them all myself because if I don't the solo Q folks seem to ignore them totally 90% of the time and get us all killed with NOED.
-
Same here, out of the last 7 games 4 were blight, 2 huntress, 1 artist. Same stats over the weekend and last week for the most part. Just getting a bit duller to play survivor IMO.
-
Maaaaybe Pinhead if you are really, really good with the chains and have the right add ons. But that's a reach I admit.
-
I really thought I was going to make him my main but between crap controls on the chain (console of course), him breaking his own chains, the total slowdown to actually deploy the chain, and the box almost requiring specific add ons/perks to really be effective I just can't play him regularly.
-
Isn't camping already balanced out? Killer camps, you do gens, get BP, escape, get BP. Getting camped sucks but it does totally tie up the killer and free everyone else up to do gens and get to the next match faster.
-
As a solo Q only player, I have just accepted that 75% of the player base wants to escape as quickly as possible and do nothing for teammates. IMO there is a huge player base that simply wants to speed the Gens and get out, no chases, no rescues, no totems just Gens, hide, escape. Once you realize and accept that you can…

Some people, who have a never-ending amount of free time, think that doing and defending a broken grind makes them some kind of special. It gives them some misguided sense of accomplishment they think other people view as an achievement but really everyone who is not like them, the majority, just thinks they are wasting…

Now if by non-humanoid we mean it can't be bipedal and resemble humans then I'm going with the Critters for "Critters". If it's just anything non-human I say Pumpkin Head. I know he resembles Demo rather closely but he could have some kind of power that revolves around being powered up against the obsession. In the movie,…

Fav: Flashlight bros who don't realize I have lightborn and get bonked Least Fav: Teammates who hook farm without BT
-
As a player who picked this up around year 3, I would love to see a limited-time event/playlist that supported the OG release. It sounds just insane compared to what we have today.
-
Perfect, toss in console, Epic Store, and anything else it's on and you have more than enough folks to run two lists.
-
I run that same setup but swap bond for kindred here and there or swap it out for whatever challenge perk I need
-
Not going to happen but how fun would it be if a game that loads up with a 4 Man SWF required 6 gens to be completed? Just a fun outside-the-box idea.
-
True enough but you can't say that DBD even has an anti-cheat comparable to their size and cash flow. I don't expect DBD to have a team to instant ban someone in-game but having streamers cheating is something that no game should have happening. Unless it's like a indie title 1 person made and let loose in the wild.
-
With the player base in DBD I really do believe you could add a soloq only playlist and things would be fine. An easy way to incentivize killers to join the SWF queue is just to double the BP you receive. Anyone who feels comfortable with the killer game as it is now can join the SWF queue and get more BP anyone new or…
-
I find it hilarious that you can pull up a good number of CoD streamers who spectate, see a cheater, report them, and within the match they are banned. Yet in DBD you can literally stream yourself cheating and nothing happens. It's just wild!
-
If we say videogames only I'm going to say the Xenomorph from Alien Isolation...see what I did there!? Video game and movie! I would also take the Necromorph from Dead Space 1 & 2, 3 is dead to me.
-
I always pull the TTVs up on my phone and if they are being bad teammates or toxic it's time to stream snipe survivor to survivor. Nothing makes DBD more fun than watching a streamer rage, actually makes DBD pretty fun. They act like dummies for views but get instantly enraged if anyone else does the same thing.
-
I will say this as a solo Q player. If I get to the 2nd stage first hook while watching my teammates bless totems, literally stand still doing nothing, or just running around I will also let stage 2 go without even trying. You left me to die so now I leave you with an almost unwinnable 3 man. Oh 1 other rule for me. If you…

Hell even at my Mid-level ranking I play against Blight 50% of the time, not fun anymore. Blight, Huntress, Blight, Huntress, Blight, Blight, Wraith
-
Good lord is that for real? A swing of 400 points in a system with only 1900 total? Wow, I would think they would swing 150 max or less. I understand that would make matchmaking take forever but still, 400 is just busted IMO.
-
Trickster isn't OP I totally agree but whooo boy is he unfun to play against IMO. I think people need to realize that nerfing killers and simply not enjoying playing against them are two different things.
-
I thought it was just me but I took a 3 months break and just came back for the event. So far 50% of my matches are against a Blight, seriously every other game is Blight. Not only that but because I play a survivor in the AM in CST US I am not getting good MMR matches at all. I'm up against super sweaty ultra-skilled…
-
I like the idea of the gameplay changes but it for sure isn't a "horror" themed game at all. Visuals aside it could be really fun but I do agree that the look of it will automatically cause some people to ignore it totatly.
-
This has been me recently as well. Sit just outside the "camper zone" and throw hatchets and anyone who attempts to save. All this is on the first hook of the game. So far we always manage to 3 escape because we Gen Rush punish the camping but it sucks for the hooked person.
-
Can you remove end-game chat on PC? On PS5 I just make my profile impossible to msg unless you are a friend and I don't allow friend requests. Simple as that, no chat no toxic BS from others. Seems pretty easy to avoid with the tools at hand. That doesn't mean I think it should be allowed, real hate speech and all that but…
-
Dang, what kind of hours do you have on this thing?
-
Corrupt + Trapper makes it really easy to set up the final 3 Gen trap maze of Doom!
-
And is tbagging really toxic? I mean come on people it's a little VG model going up and down!
-
I absolutely do not view DBD as something I would call "Human Interaction". There is no voice chat, no chat at all (PS5), and only the occasional msg via PS5 party. Survivors and killers are just bots with differing difficulty levels.
-
That was going to be my comment. At level 50 you can just keep cranking out blood webs until you have all available perks right?
-
I was planning to main him just after release but I just don't enjoy playing as him. The big issue I see/feel is that his power just isn't great. It takes too long to startup, too long to recover from and the chains break on everything, including your own body. It's as others have said, he's basically a worse PH or…
-
Or hook them, or run a perk that makes flashlights not work, or a perk that reveals auras, or an addon they don't like, or punishing a farm, or slug them, or franklin them, or get a 1k, or get a 2k, or get a 3k, or get a 4k, or get a 0k. :-)
-
They could actually look at reports or establish a better system to submit chat logs. After that it's simple, drop racist, sexist, or violent chat and boom insta ban.
-
I picked DBD up like 2.5 years ago, played like crazy for 6-8 months, and burned out a bit. Came back after about a year and have been playing casually since. What seems to keep this game semi-playable is the simple fact that it isn't my main and I play about 2-4 hours a week. If I tried to play this game several hours…
-
You won't get it because the licensing would likely be crazy expensive but Scarecrow from DC would be awesome.
-
To be fair with so many of them I sometimes tunnel by accident. I'm not sure which survivor I'm chasing because 3/4 are the same model :-).
-
As long as Gens can get done it so little time tunneling and camping will exist. At this point in the game's lifecycle, you basically need to accept that these are strategies that killers will use and bring perks to counter or accept that some games will just not go how you want.
-
Killer - Kills Survivor - Escapes DCs or Perk or Offerings don't change any of that. Coming to the forum to ask people to be "nice" is just crazy.
-
Kills aside can we just have matches that don't end in 5 minutes? Seriously I either steamroll a group or get Gen Rushed, does no one want to actually chase or do any kind of secondary stuff?
-
Well, I don't even have Undying although I did just buy Blight. Maybe I'll give it a shot after someone has the teachable but for now I just run Ruin all by its lonesome.
-
This is a solid take. I almost never see anyone body block or sabo in Solo. The occasional flashlight save but that's really about it. It will be interesting to see if the hatch change forces players to think more about actually keeping everyone alive now that they can't scope out the hatch at 2 gens and just wait it out.…
-
Ooof that feels bad, really bad. I haven't died on the first hook for a bit but I sure have gotten to the 2nd stage several times while I watch teammates sit in a corner and self-heal while impacted by sloppy butcher.
-
True, true. I'm really working to max out some of my Survivors with perks and I just play killer all day now because the BP is so much better on that side of things. So Bubba/Pinhead makes me the points and Meg/Steve get them.
-
I've been maining him since release although I don't get much playtime on the regular I've been building up his perk list. Finally got Hoarder to show up after what must be level 70-75 so I'm excited to try that build-out. I have found that the possessed chain could use some kind of buff. They break too easy for how long…
