If you double something 3 times that is 6x the bp. Triple is multiplying by 3. If you multiply something by 2 then multiply it by 2 again it is impossible for it to be triple as both multiplying numbers are even.
-
Quadruple. 2 base bp x2 =4 4 Bp (base bp+ bonus) x2 =8

I thought that a casual lobby was a good idea but you also split the player base, possibly creating longer wait times. A series of, say, 20 matches when you're new that are only against the newest players could help but that still has it's problems. I have since thought that survivors getting more perks to start with, as…

He looks like Kakihara from ichi the killer. He was truly disturbing.
-
To be fair, there was 0 evidence that the last two were the werewolf or wendigo. BHVR aren't "notorious" for putting out misleading teasers. If anything the community is notorious for jumping to conclusion. People incorrectly decided the blight was a werewolf from the change animation in the teaser and the wendigo…

I have to disagree there. Otz has hours worth of content for every killer. He has done the "50 wins in a row" for every killer, has in depth usually hour long guides for every killer, has videos showcasing every killer. He clearly has an understanding of both roles and every killer in the game I use him as my go to DBD…

Current tome has kill challenges and a hatch escape challenge. Probably why you're seeing more.of these in matches. There are also kill and hatch trophies/achievements so they are not going to get drastically changed. Players are not going to stop trophies/achievment hunting of they are inclined to do so. So I doubt keys…

Quite possibly a player out of sync. I was playing as a killer and gen finished by itself. I walked around it twice was unable to kick it and ping! About 5 seconds later (possibly less) scratch marks appeared heading away from the gen. Followed and found a survivor, pretty sure they were the one that finished that gen.…

Just because someone thinks somethings is stressful doesn't mean we all do. Stress, like fun is subjective and personal. It's more like, some find the pressure to win stressful and find it's easier to win as a survivor and therefore less stressful. (Hypothesis, not statement of fact) You can't tell someone something is…
-
I'm confused. What do you mean "(Fun fact, this game was made alongside the movie)" The cabin in the woods came out in 2011 whereas dbd came out in 2016. I don't doubt cabin influenced dbd I just don't think they were developed at the same time or alongside one another. I apologise if I've misunderstood what you meant.

That's a logical fallacy. Adding swf does not equate to comms intended. If comms were intended then they would implement in-game comms. You should not be able to communicate over the entire map like you're in the same room. The survivors are not telepathic. How would the killer not hear the survivors? That's why comms is…

You said baby not child in your original post. Be consistent. A baby is any child under the age of 2. Yes, he is clearly a child but not a baby.
-
Already has his own licensed game adding him to dbd would take any money to be made by Friday 13th as a game and legal disputes. Having an already existing game, regardless of if you think it's relevant or not, is a major factor in him not coming dbd. If it were a different type of game and not an asynchronous multiplayer…

I would hope that you wouldn't teabag someone in real life either. Unless they consent.
-
Or some of the games on the list have upcoming dlc's and have increased in poularity recently? Or the ps4 frame rate issue jas caused a drop off? I doubt that overpriced cosmetics have anything to do with it. Dbd all-time highest player numbers wouldn't have got it in the top 5 this month as the highest is 77000 while the…
-
I play both (badly) and I am never stressed. Tea bagged, tunnelled, 0 kills or early hook death, whatever happens, happens. I joined this game quite late into its life and don't play to grind out blood webs, rifts challenges or dailies and I don't play with the need to kill all survivors or escape. I just play to play, be…

You are correct. According to the lote that's what happens. Yet, Vigo left the void and it is suggested that putrid serum allows you to leave. It is an underdeveloped area,as that is all of the info supplied about the void as short paragraph. Other than that little is known so my theory still has a chance to be true or at…

Possible that the longer you are there the more detail is pulled from your mind. the more you are sacrificed the more it knows. The more it knows the better it can trick you and instill false hope. I don't think mind control is something the entity does as this essentially removes hope by removing choice. (Although I do…
-
A couple of ideas. It appears you can die repeatedly in the entity's realm, so possibly a warning that you WILL die and that doesn't end your torment. It could also represent that if you keep dying and eventually lose all hope you become a new killer for the entity. Kind of like how hollowing works in dark souls.
-
I had a gen pop in front of me when no one was working on it, no scratch marks and no survivor noises. That is the only thing since the update that I have noticed.
-
Exit gate shouldn't get powered. Why should one team's objective get autocompleted, allowing them points they potentially didn't earn? That is like saying after 30 mins the killer gets 2 random sacrifices. You'd get survivor teams treating it like a legit strategy to wait 30 mins and then leave, technically "winning" the…

Surely bloodlust is enough? Speed reductions on survivors would surely lead to inevitable hits and make it really unfair for them. If you get hit you know it is only a matter of time before you go down because now you are slowing down and the killer is getting a speed boost from bloodlust. Guaranteed you get that survivor.…

Friday 13th springs to mind!

Possibly separate realities. Can't guarantee that the movies exist in every timeline or that everyone saw those movies. These characters are medis icons now but not when they came out. Evil dead for example struggled to get rated and had a limited release. Ash is shown to be living in a trailer in ash vs evil dead and…
-
I like to think that DBD could have any horror icon as canon. You could take rawhead rex, pinhead, Chucky etc and throw them in. There isn't any reason they can't be given the way the lore works. I would love to see the Creeper from jeepers creepers.
-
That could just be something that players does on hook. Like a tradition or ritual. Not defending it but not really toxic. It doesn't do anything in terms of the match and just wastes a little bit of the killers time. I find the forums have higher toxicity than the game itself.
-
Imagine playing against legion or ghost face as described. "one" killer multiple bodies. You only know of the location of one of the killers but there are four and one always knows where you are and what you're doing. You'd never touch a gen/totem and you wouldn't survive. Now imagine it was lone survivor.
-
killer tunnels, ds'd killer slugs (due to DS) unbreakable or disconnect. Killer tunnel (due to ub), ds'd. This is a loop of excuses both sides use. I only run ds/ub because killers tunnel and slug. I only tunnel and slug because survivors bring ds/ub. Slugging and tunneling are things a killer can and would do and…
-
The sentiment "only the killers/survivors troll" is disingenuous. You troll because you troll. Simple. Everyone of these comments is ridiculous. Toxic players (survivor or killer) are toxic players. I played enough and watched enough streamers play to see it on both sides consistently and 90% of the time it's because of…
-
I'm a killer/survivor dc main and I think it's disgusting behaviour to not auto disconnect me at the start of a match
-
can't you just pick up someone with ds and then they're no longer invincible because they lose it? Is it one time use? You'd eat a stun but not allow the 60 seconds grace period?
-
Sadly I think this system only really works if you have a solidly consistent player base with little to no casual players. (I'd say I fit casual player) Either system is flawed but sadly, whilst the both system works in theory, will definitely suffer from constant fluxtuation due to having to cope with three essentially…
-
Got to say I agree with slim0b. I'm actually hesitant at times to respond to comments or sometimes play the game as I find the represented community on these forums have some really bad aggression issues and are unable to have "conversations" without resorting to sarcasm or insults or the my side you side debate, ad…
-
I totally agree, just the analogy I didn't get on with. It's nice to actually see an articulate argument and not a series of contradictions, insults and contrivances. You sir are worth havimg a conversation with.
-
I think I've seen it said by the dev's that rank (before changes) more represents how often you play rather than how well you play. I believe their concensus is, you can be the best and most skilled killer/survivor but only play, let say, 10 games a month. Where as you can be mediocre/bad or part of an swf (potential to be…
-
Agree that an opinion can be had by all. However.... Your movie analogy doesn't work. The op would have had to have asked everyone to resevere comment until they have made a video game. Playing the two sides of the same game isn't comparable to making a movie and watching one.
-
You forgot rage quitting because of being slugged, knowing that the killer is going to wait the 60 secs and then hook you.
-
It doesn't and it does. It does not speed up the killer or slow generator repair speed. it is a nerf to early game for both parties, promoting a cat and mouse game and hopefully enhancing the experience. (although that's subjective) I don't think a direct nerf or buff to eithers ability to complete there objective is…
-
Or alternatively have hooks and generators locked for x amount of time. Gives everyone a chance to get an idea of the gen/totem locations. It gives set up killers time to set up. First 30 secs to a minute would be more intense as some killers would stalk, some set up and some would start hunting. Survivors wouldn't end up…
-
Isn't there a 4% chance to unhook yourself? If so the solution is to remove the health loss for attempting to unhook yourself, start the the % chance to 10 and slowly reduce it every failed attempt. You will eventually change hook state as your health degrades on hook anyway and you would have a genuine chance to unhook…
-
I don't even think they are "less gamey", polygonal shapes like that literally used to make up game characters and worlds. If anything they have become more gamey! Looks like low resolution tron.
-
Agreed. Slugging is a game mechanic where by a killer hits you and you enter the dying status slowly bleeding out, helpless as the killer looks on or leaves to hunt another victim. DCing isn't a game mechanic and adds nothing to gameplay either tactically (hatch dc isn't a tactic it's a loophole) or as a…
-
A killer can't tunnel four survivors at once, only one. Whilst tunneling or camping one survivor 3 gens get completed, 3/5 or the objective where as one tunneled/camped survivor isn't even actually 1/4 of the killers objective! They are not comparable. Tunneling and Camping realistically favours the survivors. Yeah sucks…

I like your style.

There are so many. The Thing (1982) Hellraiser. Event horizon Dawn of the dead Alien and more
-
I don't agree with the sentiment of "survivor's power" being the ability to prep with each other in the lobby! As survivors you are not supposed to be able to draw up a game plan with each other before or during the match. The game does not have it's own team chat for good reason. The lore of the game (that gameplay is…

Not only that but fought his own mini clones. was downed, forced to swallow one which then grew out of his shoulder into a full sized evil doppelganger. Had to fight and kill his deadite possessed friends and girlfriend, got possessed himself. Had to kill a deadite possessed old women, hold off an angry ######### tree, kill one…

In the original nightmare on elm Street, 2, the new nightmare and freddy versus Jason he is not that sort of killer! (possibly the reboot too, which this freddy is based on) It isn't until 3 they start using the ridiculous "dream deaths" originally he was a brutal slasher killing you in your dreams. Yes sometimes the kills…
