Thanks for the responses, submitted the tickets for the two players along with links to the recorded evidence, hopefully its successful.
-
Will I recieve an email response on whether the report was successful on banning the players or not once I submit the ticket?
-
Ah, never noticed that. Thank you!
-
That's good at least, phew
-
Reconsidering this myself, and looking at everyone else's comments, it's pretty clear that this idea would be too strong. Thanks for commenting!
-
Not particularly helpful, and I already know from other posts not to take you seriously, but I get what you're trying to say.
-
I've been on mouse. I've started to get a lot better at him so honestly just disregard his post. My opinion on this guy has changed quite a bit now, used to be pretty low and now I really love playing him.
-
I mean on hits following the first rush. If it available on the first rush you're right, that would be way too strong.
-
Honestly, most of this I can agree with. Points you made. Don't get hooked. Not realistic, at all, but I think the point is that if you're stealthy you likely won't be the one getting facecamped. Deal with it. As you said the only thing to do really. It is NOT killer bias, just the truth. People can discourage facecamping…
-
Yeah. People's complaints mostly boil down to. "Its not fun for the person on the hook." Even if the rest escape. I completely understand that, but I fail to see a solution to that issue.
-
Hear hear. Facecamping sucks, but moaning about it isn't going to do anything. Neither will insulting people or generally trying to be a nuisance like some people are doing. All we can do is suggest changes for the devs and hope that they implement something. In the meantime be sensible and stop feeding the killer when you…
-
You were responding to my question about the guy insulting people. Your answer, had 0 relevance to what I was discussing. So you're fine with calling people condescending names and giving them horrid titles, but you're not alright with someone camping you in a virtual game? Someone doesn't have their priorities straight :)
-
I don't think those two examples really compare lol Facecamping benefits the killer taunting the killer doesn't really benefit the survivor
-
I mean, if you want evidence to disprove your outlandish claim, I'd be happy to link you to my profile.
-
I mean, technically, yeah. But thats not always the case. Like, if you get all four kills really quickly and get entity displeased, I don't really think that can be considered a loss for the killer.
-
Yeah, very true. But hey, if they go throughout the rest of life with this attitude to "deal with it" they're going to have a pretty difficult time haha.
-
Gotta agree. Facecamping is trashy and unfun, but since its not going away punishment for it should definitely be reinforced.
-
I think you misunderstand the situation. You're the one being accused of having nothing constructive to say. All you've done is spew out ranting and insults to anyone who disagrees. You're the one who has said nothing to disprove that. The only thing that anyone is accused me of is your potential alt account, who accused…
-
I mean hey, was just putting it out there. Just had a theory and thought it would be pretty funny if that were the case. Either way, you have to admit its pretty coincidental haha. Either way, nobody has a way of proving anything, so even if it is an alt account you're safe, no need to worry.
-
Congrats, you have figured out how to use google image search
-
Well I'm not wrong. You haven't put any defence apart from snide remarks which are only reinforcing that notion. Do you have anything else to say? Or even a hint of attempting to have a civil discussion? Or was this thread created just so you could spill some salt?
-
Off topic, but I think the OP created an alt account today (Dubvee5), just for his posts lol. Both accounts were created today within only 20 minutes of each other, have the exact same viewpoint and have only commented on the same posts :D Just a guess, but would be pretty hilarious if I'm actually right. Would be pretty…
-
Yeah, same tbh. Especially when they can only respond with insults like these guys.
-
He said "Survivors", not "survivor". This is a team based game you know. He's referring to survivors actually playing smart (shock horror) and doing gens instead of just running at the killer who's facecamping and wasting time. As he said, getting facecamped sucks, but if survivors did gens 100% instead of rushing at the…
-
What does that have to do with calling people names? If you're going to try and respond with a similar remark, at least stick to the topic.
-
Ah yes, a person who has not a single inkling of who I am 100% knows my behaviour ingame. I don't. I have 2000 hours, which is enough to know that Face Camping boring as all hell. My point still stands though, if you call someone "scum of the earth" after they kill you in a video game. God there's something wrong with you.…
-
Jeez, imagine getting that salty over a video game that you resort to calling people that.
-
I'm finding it difficult to take you seriously. First of all, you said MoM being nerfed to 3 safe unhooks was fine. So literally all four survivors could potentially get an extra health state by just unhooking... Way too strong lol. Imagine if killers were given a perk that allowed them to instantly down a survivor after 3…
-
I mean, his perks are bad. Some of Cheryls are alright I guess. His power is interesting, but at the same time, it seems kinda bad to use. His shockwave is easy to dodge, and should only be used for fakeouts, or in long halls or window/pallet vault animations. His cages are cool, but apart from countering ds, don't…
-
How can you stop tunnelling from existing though? You can't just ban everyone who does it.
-
Fair enough, I just changed it. And yeah, I know, but its still fun to contemplate
-
Doesn't tru3 only upload videos of him winning to youtube?
-
A hit they don't deserve? If you're talking about dedicated server hits I 100% agree with you. But otherwise, being able to lunge through an undropped pallet and hit a survivor isn't "undeserved" or hitting a survivor midvault.
-
Exactly. Its less of a problem with the killers lunge but with dedicated servers. These have helped the game in areas, but have also caused gameplay issues for both sides.
-
Literally anyone can do that though. Its not even about the lunge, its about gageing the killers speed and the distance before he can hit you. The exact same thing would happen if you shortened the killers lunge. There would still be times where you knew you'd get hit or not reach a safe loop in time.
-
So now this isn't even about shortening the lunge, this is about removing it completely. And no, looping wouldn't stay the same. The lunge is realistic in the first place. Putting on a burst of speed to reach something happens in real life too you know.
-
As I already said. Shortening it WILL make loops extremely safe. Test it for yourself if you don't believe me. Effort isn't going to make up for the shortened lunge either lmao
-
Well, thats a pretty random and off topic comment. Perks do nothing in loops majority of the time, excluding spirit fury. The rest (bamboozle, enduring etc) do almost nothing during loops. People beat loops through actual skill or use of their killer power, typically through mindgames, prediction, tricking their opponent…
-
But why. Making it shorter isn't going to fix the hits you're talking about, in fact its not going to fix any issues you've described of hits seeming unfair. Killers will still be able to hit you through pallets and windows. They'll also still be able to stop you reaching some windows and pallets (albeit with much more…
-
So... You just want to remove a killers lunge? What you're describing sounds pretty normal, and while I know some hits look BS and look like they shouldn't hit. Being able to hit through a pallet or window is completely normal and "knocking me down before I reach a window" is literally just the lunge doing what its…
-
DS is balanced btw
-
Gotta love facecamping two survivors at once, instead of being able to just hit them and move on with your game.
-
They really do. If the last survivor just hides, they have several minutes to find the hatch. 3 or so minutes to go around the map and find the hatch isn't unreasonable at all. As I already said, its at least a single guaranteed escape unless you're a potato.
-
I'd imagine billy or spirit. Also, how tf is doc OP.
-
I don't get it. Moris can typically guarantee at least 3 kills with a decent player. Keys can guarantee at least 1 escape, with 2 or three additional escapes unless the survivors are complete potato's and complete no gens. Or if they get seen by the killer endgame. Not to mention, you can just equip plunderers and gain an…
-
I mean, I've found 3 hatch keys using plunders, in one game. Plunderers makes them super common.
-
I play 50/50 killer and survivor, and there's obviously lots of unbalanced things in both rolls. First off, all of these ideas are my opinion. I'm sure plenty will disagree, and I'm by no means a dev, so take these as you wish. To start with, its pretty clear maps are in issue. They should be balanced for both sides…
-
Slugging is a very frequent thing in high rank games. The potential of infinite unbreakables is extremely powerful, especially considering how good unbreakable is by itself as a base perk. It should only have one use imo. Your suggestion already has other uses alongside giving unbreakable, such as the speed boost.
-
But its really easy for them to avoid it, and if you screw up even once, its a free unhook.
-
Could you link the patchnotes where they said this? If its truly the case then fair enough.
