Seasonal things being seasonal isn't scummy at all. You're just looking for reasons to complain.
-
Honestly? Yes. "I noticed you cleansed a dull totem. Why weren't you on a gen?" "You didn't touch a gen for an entire seven seconds, why not??" Etc. It's a good change, but this is what I'm expecting.
-
DbD is the issue, not a symptom. We should all uninstall DbD and play single player games instead.
-
Hm, alrighty! Thank you for the advice. I'll try messing around with these suggested perks and similar and see if anything sticks, maybe I'll have better luck next time I attempt Killer.
-
A few of my go-to killers are Wraith, Cenobite and Artist. I like Pig and Ghostface as well, but don't usually expect to do well with them, I'm usually just memeing with them. Perk-wise I usually run things that help me find people easier. I like Tinkerer on Artist, Spies from the Shadows is a niche perk I like since it…
-
That's an interesting thought... These new forums do focus on their other games and BHVR as a whole as opposed to iust DbD. Is it possible they're preparing to jump ship?
-
Killers. Survivors. People will always complain.
-
I half agree, though after reading the counter arguments I've come to the conclusion that this whole game is just a goddamn mess
-
The new forum feels like a default Geocities template
-
What's an emotion?
-
What do you mean? This is comedy gold
-
It wouldn't be a DbD hotfix if it didn't break several dozen other things in the process.
-
First of all: line breaks. Second: all companies are greedy, some are just better at hiding it than others.
-
The whacky goof who always means well with their altruism, but can't survive in chase for more than ten seconds. Often seen playing Ash or Steve.
-
Good for those people.
-
I actually really like this idea. It would make your average trial a whole lot more interesting, and the lore would feel deeper by having the entity's presence felt more.
-
Just let the survs take damage if they get smacked in a snowman. They're supposed to be a stealth thing, not a free health state
-
I mentioned this in another thread but I might as well reiterate. The issue isn't the cosmetics. It's the underhanded tactics of FOMO that prey on consumers' anxieties to brute force them into spending money. It's manipulative and it's predatory.
-
Lot of people in this thread not understanding that it's not about the cosmetics, but rather the methods used to sell them. FOMO is a method used to prey on one's anxieties, to manipulate someone into buying something, because if you don't buy it then you've just missed out. Hope you didn't want it because chances are…

Cool clanking sound
-
I appreciate that comms are overpowered, but this is just silly
-
BHVR doesn't make the game appealing to anyone
-
Requires no skill and is boring, yes, but sadly it's the best way to survive in chase. That's just the way the game's made.
-
BHVR tend to do that kind of thing. They nerf one thing, and then buff something else to make up for it, or vice versa. It isn't nerfing something if you buff another thing to compensate, that just brings you back to square one but for different reasons.
-
I hate this community with an unquenchable passion
-
These things just keep getting worse with each update, huh?
-
No, you don't understand, I'm special and the game needs to be changed to suit my needs.
-
Slipped into a corner mid-chase and fully healed myself using a combination of Botany Knowledge, Self Care (before the nerf) and Bite the Bullet
-
Yeah, good point, though in OPs case it seems like the killer was admitting to abusing bad ping to gain an advantage, which I think should be evidence of cheating
-
Some people use VPNs to lag their connection on purpose and give themselves an advantage. I'm not sure if it's officially against the rules, but it might be worth reporting
-
Heh... I like it.
-
Killer seems fun but weak Some of the perks are okay Nobody knows what to use Potential Energy for New map sucks New map pallets are bugged
-
You think they'll lock the comments this time, too?
-
Laughs in iri shards
-
I'm disappointed but not surprised
-
All of them. (Pig)
-
Auto Dead Hard hacks are a thing, could be that. I've heard you can test if a survivor is hacking like that by just swinging near them but not at them. The hack would go off automatically since it can't tell the difference and you should be able to tell.
-
They care about money, and so they care about us by proxy. Customers are money, after all.
-
I non-ironically love the idea of going to a game's official forums to tell everyone that a competing game is currently free.
-
Ah, clever business talk.
-
The survivors are, honestly, never that popular. I haven't seen a Haddie or a Jonah in ages, and I've completely forgotten the Ring survivor's name I haven't seen him in so long. As for the killer... I haven't seen nearly as many "Killer too weak/strong, plz fix" posts compared to literally any killer, so probably not that…
-
I'd show you it but I already tossed it in the fireplace.
-
Meh, let people vent if they need to. Doesn't bother me, personally
-
I like to screenshot this kind of salt and treat them as a sort of trophy collection to laugh at later on.
-
Built in comms would be overpowered, and I don't want some 12 year old yelling slurs at me because I blew up a gen
-
I'll be uncharacteristically positive here Glad you're enjoying yourself, op. Have a good time.
-
I just stop caring and play how I like with whatever dumb meme builds I feel like. I once saw someone say, "If you win, great. If not, you were just memeing".
-
Ash is, canonically, great to smoke weed with. I may be biased, but Cheryl would be great fun, too. As for killers, Artist would probably get really deep and profound when she gets high.
-
It's one of the games I've played
