Or... How about they give a gamma option in-game. I have trouble seeing properly in rooms on hawkins or the game downstairs. You shouldn't have to play a game with your lights off just to see.
-
Ds/unbreakable also has the risk that you'll never get to use it. I stopped running ds because I legitimately get use out of it like 1 out of 100 games. Killers don't pick up ds if they're good and you don't need ds if killers are bad. Ruin undying is insanely strong and feels awful as survivor. Either you spend like 3…
-
I think it has to do with the lore of the entity and what it does. The entity feeds on hope I believe so eventually the survivors would lose hope and they'd have to be replaced by new survivors.
-
Maybe it was bad rng then but the map I got was basically all deadline and there were a few pallets in one corner. The rest was a deadzone besides the shack.
-
The pronunciation is due to dialects but yes, they have different meanings. Abuse as in monitor and abuse is referring to hit or hurting someone (domestic abuse for example). Where as abusing something is using it a lot as much as you want. (Not dictionary definitions but close enough)
-
Ahh yes holding w in chase is very fun versus other killers I have to actually watch out for mind games and things but deathslinger, hag, pyramid head, and spirit it's kinda just like oh your power just kills me with almost nothing I could do about it. I'm not saying they are op just saying that's what makes them, in my…
-
The teammates are so bad in redranks that you escape maybe 1 out of 10 games (the 1 you actually get decent teammates. I literally had a 5 minute chase today and 2 still died.
-
Ahh yes holding m1 on gens is very fun gameplay. Let's be honest chases are the most fun part of the game and when killers just ignore your loops it is frustrating considering it is why most people play the game. Hag is pretty much uncountable unless you know before hand it's hag or are in a swf bc solo teammates are…
-
I already saw a mistake that you didn't put at around 1:00 you broke a pretty unsafe pallet that if you didn't break would've started giving you your power which allows you to snowball easily. Also another thing I should say is to get infectious fright. It is literally god tier on oni and other slug heavy killers.
-
It's a perk that is not only situational (being downed inside a pallet) but also requires at least 2 perk slots to be even remotely useful (flip-flop) and even then you could just pick then up instantly to counter. The only way to abuse it is to have another teammate nearby pressuring the pallet save, in which case that is…
-
It really is an easy win tho. Having 1 person dead is way more pressure than 1 hook.
-
This game promotes stealth to rank up. I can run the killer for 5 gens and not pip while the claudie crouching in the corner gets to rank up.
-
I'm going to be honest, I play a lot of killer and I think that would be a horrible change. There would be no mindgames or 'reading' anymore. There would only be survivors camping pallets which is boring for both sides.
-
I'm assuming this was on suffo pit? You really can't get mad at that map because the middle has basically everything for survivors to work with and you can do the 3 gen strat very easily on that map. Plus I seriously doubt 2 lt walls can loop a good killer for a long amount of time even when chained together.
-
Tons of conflicts? People who actually get mad over "haha let me press this button over and over" really need to just calm down and chill.
-
Do you really get that mad by someone pressing a button in a video game that you want it removed? Teabagging is a thing is almost every pvp game and it isn't removed nor is it punished in any way. So why should it be in this game?
-
They can't be dodged but you can block line of sight. You can't blink to someone you can't see.
-
Gordon is fun and feels like you have equal chance to outplay. Huntress is fun if they have good hotboxes. The chainsaw bros are balanced as well.
-
If you're in a deadline with no pallets, dead hard does almost nothing against a killer that baits it out. There's your downside. Sprint burst, lithe, or even balanced would be more useful in a deadzone because they give a lot more distance.
-
I still want old ruin back and I'm a survivor main lol. It meant that survivors were at least decent at red ranks. Now they're all potatoes.
-
I usually see some sort of tunneling or camping every 3 games at rank 1. I usually play survivor and the killer almost always comes back to hooks. 2/3 of the time they actually go for the unhooker but 1 out of 3 they just hard tunnel the unhooked survivor and then either pick up or just camp the body until ds is gone. Face…
-
Fair enough, freddy is basically the 4 man swf of killer so I see no problems with that. I must say spirit or nurse is better but requires more skill to use obviously. He definitely isn't unbeatable and I never said he was. It just requires being hyper efficient which is pretty much impossible in solo que where teammates…
-
I honestly am with you I also play killer but I want things to be fun for both sides, the devs I believe have said that they are changing DH to do something else entirely so that fixes that issue. Ds still needs to be changed so it's not "haha you cant touch me for a minute" but it's pretty much impossible to win against a…
-
No that is not what I am saying at all, if it actually took skill like huntress, hillbilly, blight, I'd be all for having to loop differently and adapt your playstyle to the killer at hand but when it's literally just press a button for value (hypocritical survivor I know) then that's when it's boring. I like dodging…
-
He's boring because it forces you to play in the same way at every loop and waste pallets like a rank 20 meg. Greeding is non-existent against them which for me is very fun and rewarding if the killer respects the pallet or swings early.
-
The team is always bad tho 😳. The rank ~15s are better than the teammates I get playing with my one friend. (I know toxic swf)
-
Because it actually starts to introduce counterplay and actual mindgames rather than. Oh you just phased to me and I had no idea where you were. It makes it from a 100% guess to a read on the survivor side because you can still moonwalk and the survivor will think you are on the other side of the pallet. Plus it really…
-
I'm probably like 50% of that because it's always the last box and I'm playing on cold wind so I get my head popped.
-
There is not a direct correlation. I do agree however, that there is some correlation. I've seen devotion 10s that get mindgamed on the shack pallet. These people are red ranks who get mindgamed on the downed shack pallet.
-
Whenever this happens I try and get the survivor that is actually trying to show me where the other one is by downing them and then letting them wiggle. I love when killers do this when other survivors are being useless.
-
If you against a good killer, even if they are legion or another m1 killer it is still easy to fall for mindgames especially on certain tiles.
-
There is no way to tell what kind of perks the killer will bring or how they will play before the match. So how do you counter that again? Those perks become pretty much useless if the killer doesn't slug/have very specific perks.
-
I honestly think legion is fine because he can keep you injured but at the end of the day he still has to down you normally which is pretty hard to do against good survivors
-
While bnps are pretty strong, I don't think they are overpowered. Getting 1 gen done fast early game isn't that good and is much better to pressure separate gens. Also nowadays with gen times you are likely to lose around 3 gens for your first hook anyway.
-
It will probably be eventually removed (years from now) after they balance a lot of other things.
-
I agree, chases are the only thing that are actually fun. Killers like spirit and pyramid head are killing the game. Slowly but surely.
-
Then what game is the right game? There aren't any other games like dbd
-
But you know somewhat when she is going to shoot and you didn't bring up the main annoyance is that he can fake his power with no punishment whereas huntress has a long cool down after she puts away a hatchet.
-
Then you'd still have 4 perks basically unless it gave you 2.
-
If they remove suiciding on hook then people will just go afk. There is no real way to stop people who don't want to play out a match.
-
This is why the game will never be balanced. You can get the same map with either 14 pallets or 8 pallets according to Scott Jund and this is on autohaven. I think it was wretched shop in the video but you can be screwed by rng as killer or as survivor.
-
Billy using saws takes a lot of skill, huntress (provided she's not using iridescent) also requires skill to hit hatchets from both close and far ranges. GF requires a lot if you are actually sneaking up on people. Most m1 killers need a mindgame or something to get a down on good survivors usually so that requires some…
-
Yeah but you at least have some idea and can say "okay I need to get behind something" instead of just getting instant sniped with no way to know when he was going to shoot. Hence counterplay.
-
Yeah obviously, but you have a much higher chance of avoiding something if you have a general idea of when it is coming. With deathslinger you have no real idea of when he could shoot because he has instant ads.
-
If you want more killers at least like Cone Head then you might as well just remove windows and pallets all together and make the game a hold W simulator because that is basically all you can do against him. You can sometimes vault windows if you're far enough away but pallets are pretty much useless unless they are like…
-
Yeah but here's the thing, huntress actually has a windup to tell you when she could be getting ready to throw a hatchet. Deathslinger can just instantly shoot you with no way to react.
-
I'm on console so maybe it's different but it's pretty hard to use knives effectively and plus there are so many sprays on the map too.
-
Friday the 13th is not balanced. If the counselors get lucky, they can get a car going and be out in less than 2 minutes. All a counselor has to do is run around a table with Vanessa and the rest of them can escape. And don't say I don't know what I'm talking about because I've played lots of Friday (over 100 hours easily)…
-
@ClickyClicky those are completely separate issues that need to be addressed in another thread. I say that the devs should balance on what is fun and I find pyramid head and spirit very unfun killers to verse simply because they ignore any sort of looping so that a rank 20 would still go down in the same amount of time as…
-
Counterplay for me means chase interaction. Yes a lot of killers if played perfectly leave the survivor with no options. However against a huntress I can see what is going on, I can see if she is raising a hatchet I can dodge it, I can bait her into raising a hatchet at a pallet. I can see everything she is doing. Against…
