Cause I stopped for 2 months and hopped back on to try and prevent myself from being stuck in grey ranks. Turns out I didn't need to worry, killer queue times are still instant up there too.

BBQ and Chilli - I feel way too many people get salty over the fact the killer gets to see your aura for 4 seconds after a hook. If you think the killer has it, just fake a task and wander somewhere else to see if they come. Then act on that information for the rest of the match, it isn't a hard perk to counter. Dead Hard…

My god, DS was brought along 670 times. I'm honestly surprised you only ran into No Mither once in 500 games. That actually blows my mind, I thought more people memed. I assume you count a disconnect as a kill but I'm curious what the kill rate is without counting them. Generally I feel games could have turned out a lot…

The issue I have with the UI is that it lacks compactness. Think about the original one, on the bottom left we had the status of all of the survivors and the amount of generators remaining. On the bottom right we had our perks and power status. Whenever we earned points, they would display on the middle right. (I think, I…

The PTB is like that psychic in movies that sees the darkest timeline approaching and tells us about it. However unlike the movies, we are unable to stop it from happening.
-
Wdym then don't? With this buff the Plague would be able to turn a 3-gen defense into a 2-gen defense for free. It's just not a very well thought out change. As for the other changes, I dunno, it just seems like they're change for the sake of change rather than change for the sake of improving the killer.
-
I don't understand, are people really having a hard time figuring out how these work? This must be the third thing I've seen on these so far. They work exactly the same as the pustulas, except they're invisible from a distance.
-
I was actually considering coming back to the game after I heard about the DS and Object changes. Then this update hit and I went back to my apathetic view on the game. It's never gonna get better and this was simply a well timed reminder.

Imagine wasting 6 months of development time when you could have consistently updated the community on it and gotten feedback throughout development. At this rate they're gonna fall victim to the sunken cost fallacy. Better to cut their losses now than sustain even greater ones later.
-
It looks like you just messed it up by staying inside of the killer. You lose collision with them for a few seconds after being hit and that doesn't go away if you never leave their collision hitbox.
-
They were already given our feedback during the PTB. If they cared they wouldn't have pushed it out in the first place. They clearly don't care and them reverting the update would be a sign of damage control, not them caring.
-
I mean, if I was that worried about a key I'd bring a Mori, not Franklin's. It'd handle the key so much faster and allow me to use 4 perks rather than 3.
-
Honestly if you're in a lobby and believe that you aren't going to have any fun, dodge it. Better to do so then and let someone else get matchmade in than leave midway through the game because now you aren't having any fun.

I couldn't even finish the video that was so painful to watch. I suppose I've finally seen for myself a killer who needs BL to win a chase. I stopped watching at a minute thirty and I have to say you must have been playing that poorly intentionally. There is no way you needed or should have reached BL in either of those…

I don't even really want to buy them with shards and I got those just for logging in. Just from the planned changes they've already said the locker fix won't even be there at release. The fact that they still haven't fixed the Blight's POV yet makes me wonder what's the point of buying the new killer if they're gonna be…
-
But that's all it takes. They've kept to the 3 month cycle for years now and because of it they've never taken a breather to fix the game. All it takes to keep that cycle up is people buying the new chapters and that's all. Cosmetics are just a bonus after that.
-
I'm pretty sure the cross-progression they did enable a few weeks ago wiped anyone's progress if they enabled it. But yeah, I imagine it'll arrive relatively soon considering they're attempting to implement it currently.
-
Giving away a digital good isn't a sacrifice. They could pull millions of those things from their digital ass at no expense to themselves. Chances are it'll go to someone who was never going to buy auric cells anyways, so it's money they were never going to see anyway. Also a year of getting these things would condition…

I think Phasmophobia is a great game, however it will only affect the DBD playerbase in an indirect way. They aren't the same type of game at all and would only really attract horror fans as opposed to DBD players. For DBD to get competition there would need to be an asymmetrical VS game of some description and lets be…
-
I think OoO would work better as a perk that forces the survivor to give more than they take. For example, OoO could be a toggleable perk where for every 20 seconds you allow the killer to see your aura you gain a token, up to 3 lets say. Each of these tokens you spend gives you 10 seconds of the killer's aura at any…
-
Cause said community keeps buying stuff.
-
They're reaching a point where the game is going to be bloated with perks and they'll need a system change. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually remove the tiers of the perks and just have a perk and an effect. I mean, what do people do already anyway? They get a perk then basically never use it unless it's T3…
-
I really think people should stop referencing it as an event. An event implies something different is happening than usual, yet there's no difference to gameplay at all.

She's either bugged or she got shadow-nerfed. Whenever she does her sigh you can tell where is she, even while phasing. It's honestly made her a lot more fun to play against, as even though I don't know exactly where she is I at least have a good estimate. It feels more fair, both sides are working off of sound to locate…
