I don't believe OP wanted the game to be competitive. It is quite obvious by his discourse that he just wanted to get to Rank 1 and then he'd probably leave anyway as he would have thought he "finished" the game or something weird. If OP would truly be competitive he would ask for top tier leaderboards or something similar…

Similar as before. I was getting bored before the SBMM getting red ranked while I am a filthy casual, but the SBMM has made me stick around.
-
Overall better games for both sides for me. There are occasional spike games that feel out of place, but they are much rarer than before.
-
I haven't experienced any campers or tunnelers so far. I also play rather relaxed.

Welcome to being a queer person. All the Disney villains are queer coded and villains throughout the 20th century have been queer coded. There is a reason why queer people often love the villains: society bundled us with them and we embraced them as we had nothing else. There are also ton of youtube videos about it so if…

This sounds ridiculously hypothetical.
-
SBMM's are generally built on a grading scale and not a binary one as you fear.
-
Dead Hard is one of those perks that really don't annoy me as a killer.
-
SBMM was the dream. As a survivor I had fun, and as a killer - even if I averaged just 2 kills per game - it was all good because I had fun.
-
If it is anything like the test we had a few weeks back then sign me up.
-
Can't wait for the MMR to get active. I am not a red player and I have no interest in playing against sweaty red ranks where the best move is not to play. I do not enjoy AFK-ing games.
-
SBMM was more chill for me. Sure, it means I 2k most of the time max, but as long as everyone was having fun it was all good.
-
I fear SBMM will never be implemented as it appears the top 5% of players don't like this and they appear to hold the game hostage for everyone else. Something something mirror of real world. I just want SBMM back. Only version where I can bother playing Killer again.
-
Best games I've had in months was while SBMM was active. Both as killer and as survivor.
-
I loved SBMM. Games were fun and exciting. It seems to me that the most miserable in SBMM were the top rank players. The price of spending too much time in the game is that you will just have sweaty games. It's not fun - or fair - for players with worse ranks to get matched against a high rank killers/SWF that then…
-
I loved the SBMMR Test. I actually had engaging and fun games compared to the old system where you get matched against a hero red rank loopers where you can just as well just AFK.
-
I am currently at my final straw. Stupid matchmaking means matchmaking doesn't work which usually means I am better off suiciding or AFK-ing during a match than bother with a game.
-
Other suggestion would be just allow the remaining players to auto-forfeit the game. DCs are so common - penalty or not - that I'd rather just end the game or see some balancing act to keep people in it to the end.
-
The biggest difference in my experience is that toxic survivors will keep the game hostage whereas a toxic killer will usually just kill you and you can find another game. That is in effect a lopsided power over the game. In fact, the only way to combat toxic survivors who take the game hostage is to just AFK which just…
-
I suggest that if you are in a frustrating game just park your killer in a corner and take a step from the game. Your mental health and well being is more important than the ego or the game of the survivors.
-
As someone who encounters a lot of people who DC I find penalizing DC kind of pointless considering the fact that you can easily suicide in this game. It is a form of "security theatre".
-
I think there could be a chill mode that just does not use perks or items. I'd actually want to play a mode where there are no perks or items(except maybe items picked in the arena).
-
I mean, killers get called out for doing their objective fast(tunneling). That's the survivor's fault for not knowing how to ""LOOP"". Regarding NOED it sucks to encounter as a survivor. I am actually a bit enamored with one suggestion in this thread that the NOED charges equals the totems left in the game. That way you…

If you encounter a bully squad the best thing you can do is not play the game and just AFK:
-
Ah yes, the infamous "trans girls dominating women sports" argument. For your information this argument is always based on 100% disinformation and fearmongering so you should maybe start being more critical at your sources because if you don't then other people will start making decisions for you. I mean trans athletes…
-
Iri heads are not toxic - as they are a legit part of the game as it stands - but they are not fun for any survivor. What is toxic is giving people grief post-game because of the ingame tools you used.
-
Yep, cuts off screaming which is annoying on many survivors.
-
I would accept this change if survivors are required to do 10 more generators in each map to a total of 15. Then it would be fair. Also, to paraphrase OP. If survivors can't do 15 generators then it is a survivor problem.
-
As a Survivor main who dabbles in killers I can confirm that Survivors are incredibly toxic. I do, however, find the PC survivors much worse than the Console ones. The console players will wreck your face in game, but they usually play within the expected parameters and due to console can't really type much post-game.…
-
The idea is that most survivor just want to play against an NPC or have a single human they can bully.
-
Kate Denson
-
The core point is that most survivors want an NPC to beat and if not they want a human to bully as they please. It's a bit sociopathic in a way and I get disturbed by my fellow survivors all too often in their behaviour and desire to bully. Does the game sometimes go sideways? Yes, I just got killed fast as a survivor…
-
Would be more appropriate that you could ban perks(both killer and Survivors choose 2-3 from each other).
-
Have been through this map several times now. It is prettier, but it is so SWF sided now that I just AFK the match instead of bothering to play it anymore.
-
Much like crouching isn't always used as a strategy for survivors. Maybe devs should do something about survivors who can't hold their crouch button.
-
maybe we should all go play killers and quit trying to survive ;) An actual good idea. Would help shorten the Survivor queue for me.
-
...and there is nothing in the game alluring them to playing Killer so there is nothing rectifying the situation.
-
The change we need is to just use bots instead of humans to play the killers. It would make 99% of the survivor player base happy and the old killer could just play as survivor. My guess is that's the eventual endgame for BHVR.
-
Pretty much. It is actually more enjoyable to AFK purple and red rank games until you get to such a bad rank where you can actually play with a killer and have at least some fun. Basically for every fun game I have I have to have 2-3 AFK games to get my pip to stay at a level where I can actually enjoy playing a killer.…
-
Ah yes, the solution that would decimate the killer population even further increasing queue times for survivors to near infinity. Great job!
-
Best advice here.
-
Some people just want to play a game, not become the world championship of all gaming. It's not about 4k or whatever, but that a sweaty swf will just make the entire experience miserable as they suck all the fun out of it. It's better to AFK or DC those games and enjoy the potential depip of those SWF than try to play the…

I've lobby dodged a few games today that had key and toolboxes. Feels good.
-
At this point is more fun to circlejerk on the forum than play a killer online. These days I only play survivor with friends or I play killer to finish my Daily Rituals(and AFK as soon as I finish it, much to the ire of the survivors).
-
Depends on how long my friends are enjoying this game. As soon as they stop playing I'll stop playing.
-
If anything I think I don't lobby dodge enough when I play killers.
-
RULE OF ACQUISITION 76: Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a common killer experience.
-
Not really. Survivors being abusive and toxic is a very special DBD thing that is rarely seen in other games. Even the toxic behaviour of players in LoL pales in comparison to what I've seen from Survivors in this game. However, the great equalizer of all of this is that the killer playerbase will go down and the survivors…
