Not all 3 gens are intentional by survs. Good Hag players no to setup their web of traps neara 3 gen and defend it from the start. However hag cannot defend indefinitely as well as skill or knight. Welp as an older player on console who came back after a 2 year break, and a Twins main close to P100, yes the killer experience is SO much better. All the annoying survivor perks are dead. The game still has issues, but it’s in a much better place. Oh and I’m a 50/50 killer/soloq surv. Soloq is tough but still enjoyable.

They didn’t mention ANYTHING about killers. Survivors whining about getting face camped: fixed! Killers with legit issues, such as older killers needing reworks, addons needing reworks, etc: ignored!

No killer reworks. At all. Like, nothing even hinted at. Hag, trapper, Myers, etc just ignored completely. Thats my biggest takeaway. Kinda disappointing in that regard. Everything else sounds cool but I was hoping to hear more about the killers.

I think it’s good they are keeping the lid on things. Builds up anticipation. Hopefully it’ll be a huge announcement. But if they are quiet and the next chapter is lackluster and all that, then all hope is lost and abandon ship. Until then I keep my fingers crossed.

You SHOULD have the opportunity to unhook yourself even IF the killer is right there. I run Off the Record and if I ran Deliverance then I’d be able to unhook, have endurance, and possibly escape. It’s like the girl escaping leather face at the end of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Yup, it’s time for BHVR to fix this. I made a post about this too. Sometimes you just never get hooked for whatever reason until you’re the last one left. You should be able to attempt to unhook yourself like normal in these situations, or use deliverance if you have it.

So basekit Off the Record, but with no collision, increase to 20-30 seconds, survivor gets Broken or Incapacitated status, and any interaction (healing, repair, item use, chest, etc) causes them to lose this invulnerability. That’s basically taking the player out of the game temporarily.

i had a game last night as killer where the exit gates where in direct line of sight from each other. I hardly had to go anywhere. Definition not balanced. RNG could be better.

Killers are not supposed to win all the time! Same for survivors! As a 50/50 surv/killer I have my Killer games where I get 0 kills and like 3-4 hooks total. Does it suck, is it defeating? In all honesty, and not to brag, but after a 2 year break (started back around fall of 2018/2019, break, came back December) this is the first time I hit Iri 1 on both surv and killer in 2 weeks time. The -1 depip needs to go, IMO, unless you DC , inactivity/AFK/die on first hook. Otherwise 0 pip should be the minimum.

I call bullshit on the “it’s for balance” because ANY OTHER TIME during the game when NOT in chase you can hear ALL the surv & killer sounds: survivor footsteps, Myers breathing, ghost face cloth sound, nemesis stomping , etc Its time to implement a volume slider.

I took a 2 year break came back December and love it so much more now that I am close to getting Twins to P100. Sure the game is still frustrating but it’s a love hate relationship.

When killer BP is at 50-100%, I play Twins with Surv Soup, and then the 2 BP perks (beast of prey and Distressing. I net like 75-100k+ per match even if I don’t get kills.

Slugging is part of the game, and so is tunneling, camping, SWF’s, teabagging, etcetc Are they fair and fun? Nope. But if the playing field was balanced, killers wouldn’t need to slug, tunnel or camp. Sure some of it is skill but they are symptoms of a greater problem.

Agreed. Punish DC’ers, but not anyone else. Just replace the person with a bot or another player who agrees to replace the previous survivor, so the match isn’t ruined.
