Peeps not getting the reference and it's disappointing me ☹️
-
This just proves we need to nerf distortion tbh
-
You can hit survivors as they go through the portal no? And you can go through them yourself as well if I recall
-
Are you kidding me? Have you ignored the years of complaints from solo queue survivors over the game's entire lifespan?
-
You'll survive lmao, there are still plenty of counters to distortion, or you can just use your eyes.
-
Then you must really suck at chases, like REALLY suck if whole stacks are being regenerated in chase with a stealth killer, but you're in chase anyway so distortion at that point doesn't matter
-
What??? Oni and Plague with aura builds absolutely SHRED distortion have you not event played them? Gearhead alone too and undying RIPS through tokens before a survivor can finish a single totem, aura plague triggers the perk every time a survivor vomits and with healing shut down it's already that much easy tracking them…
-
Just run gearhead or undying omg or any other killer perk that can reveal survivors without the need for aura reading or play legion or aura plague and Oni or all seeing wraith if you HAVE to have auras. Distortion is countered by so much and you can track very easily without needing auras all generators are always…
-
Calm spirit shuts down doctors entire power and clowns screams from bottles and every single scream perk in the game yet it's situational because those perks are not dominating rn not as much as aura reading. If scream perks were common people would run calm spirit as often. People were fine before more aura reading perks…
-
Why does it not matter that distortion is great in certain situations? Because by that logic we can apply that to any perk in any certain situation because distortion is VERY situational and just because you happen to have the right build for the right instance once in a while doesn't mean that the perk is broken. Off the…
-
No??? PLENTY of builds burn through distortion so fast that if a survivor wanted to keep it up they'd have to spend most of the game in lockers or hugging the killer like if distortion needs to be nerfed then remove the net buff lethal gives to all aura reading then
-
Literally the tone shift is so obvious because I made a discussion months ago about the perk and practically NO ONE thought it was a problem, plus killers with iron will nerfed what is the issue with finding survivors? You know if stacks run out fast anyway people can hide in lockers right? You know if someone is healing…
-
You forgot Onryu, Plague, Oni, Xeno, Wraith, Deathslinger etc. Full aura builds require people to be close and if you've played survivor long enough you honestly never need to rely on them anyway because it's a coin toss if the perk even is useful or a dead perk slot.
-
What about cases where the killer straight up ignores you because they have STBFL
-
Stacks are not generous and get burned out FAST especially against killers who only focus on aura reading, and against stealth killers. So hiding in those scenarios makes you easy to find if there's no terror radius you basically have a dead perk. It has so many existing counters and it was deemed useless until people…
-
I wish I could have had you guys as killers literally NO ONE has waited for me at all 😭
-
That might explain it, the post had like a bunch of replies but disappeared when I decided to check after I slept. Content wasn't against the rules I just wish I could know what got it eviscerated that's all 😭
-
Corrupt literally blocks their only objective when killers can still camp and hook and chase with kindred on as they have been doing since the dawn of time
-
Also this is a better compromise than whatever anyone has suggested honestly
-
I get you but see it's just kindred, that's all. Kindred is required when playing solo and camping killers don't care if they are seen near hook most don't even know the perk exists because regardless of the aura reading terror radius exists. Around stealth killers people naturally assume they could be camping the hook…
-
Especially since this wouldn't even affect stealth killers, or killers with undetectable perks, people forget that pretty much every survivor going solo runs this perk so it's basically base kit for them and the fact that they don't notice this still or never bring up how OP kindred is proves that it really doesn't affect…
-
No one is asking for every perk under the sun to be usable as basekit, Kindred is an information perk that is pretty much almost required to use if you play solo and can often feel like an annoyance because trying to experiment with different builds can be a chore if you have to place perks that are pretty much required.…
-
I only new they were AFK once I got close to them, at that moment after attempting to move away once I tried to get into the hatch then the crow spawned and wouldn't go away. Plus pretty much all gens left were regressed to 0%
-
That sucks, especially when the killer themselves was afk for minutes
-
Managed to find a solution, apparently the "or better" part is just a lie, you need to get gold only and not iridescent.
-
dunno, it says nothing about it being a killer challenge
-
Oh so I need to only use base game survivors?
-
For me it used to be russian / german / uk players but not it's only chinese players or accounts that have the steam message that notify people that they haven't been completed yet
-
Nah, I usually play around the afternoon, maybe around 2 PM
-
Yeah it's almost every game for me
-
Sorry but this archive challenge requires me to cleanse like 20 totems, sucks but I need those rift points.
-
Not really mad about it since personally I keep the killer busy long enough for others to escape, again if they're not too altruistic others make it out but watching the hook timer deplete gets old pretty fast, especially since only being chased doesn't really give survivors much BP as well. Also camping and tunneling was…
-
Well at least I can comfortably read this and know that doesn't apply to me, sure killers have a harder time finding me but hey in those situations I end up finishing the game with iri lightbringer. If the killer wants to tunnel with their aura perk I can't control that decision. (but thank god someone else is getting…
-
This!!! Especially when you're up against an aura reading plague or want to escape Meyers or are almost done with gens and the killer has bbq. Honestly the perk also has a counter of it only getting value when you're lucky enough to have teammates who split up and don't follow you everywhere. When i spawn ingame and notice…
-
Lowkey didn't know it noms through two tokens but at least you can get them back when you're in the killer's terror radius. Been getting a lot of Wesker games so capping at max tokens has been easy after depleting them.
-
One suggestion I still agree with is Otz one, that survivors who are healthy shouldn't be grabable when unhooking survivors. Only when they're healthy though.
-
I usually took killer sides because of how underwhelming and pressuring the role was once you creep into high rank, agreed that most killers needed tune ups. BHVR, to their credit have listened to feedback and have been buffing killers one by one and might continue but now that it's beginning to affect survivors in a…

Balancing? Nah, Slow updates? Nah ... IT'S THE DAMN BLOODPOINT GRIND IT BLOWS. WE'RE NOT FULL-TIME STREAMERS JUST EASE UP ON THE CAP AS WELL 😭😭
-
I will miss getting annoyed at how much the rats made noise on the top floor
-
In my defense I got spammed with so many emails of thread notifications and just tuned them out while I tended to IRL, then log back into the forums to see a bunch of notifs I haven't replied to.
-
This is especially true in solo queue as well!
-
On, because I have friends on different platforms I play with regularly. Plus you stop worrying about endgame chat for a good while.
-
Bro read the post again I'm not saying the game is killer sided 😩
-
.... Anyway so how is everyone liking the new survivor?
-
Someone doing that is a detriment to their team though, because they're spending all that time doing nothing to progress the game just for a 5 second stun.
-
this doesn't make much sense, pretty much every solo survivor in high rank runs kindred you barely see people without it. It sees frequent use already so I'm not sure how making it a base kit removes suspense when people run the perk a lot anyway?
-
I'd rather not have someone next to me moaning and bleeding everywhere and drawing the killer to us or close to me when we're about to work on the last gen tbh. Unless there's sloppy or we're exposed then we healing up and sticking together to rush those last few gens if the killer is occupied.
-
I stopped playing a lot of M1 killers since I'm from South Africa and playing survivor I always have to plan out looping ahead of time since by default I'm already playing around 240 ms As killer.... Whew I just have to hope and pray.
-
Thank you for letting me know I could use Anniversary items, much better experience!
