Great idea, as a killer main I can say it's a fair approach. I always feel bad for the rest 3 survs that are left in the match when 1st hook just suicides so I try to compensate them by letting them pallet me or blind with flashlights and finish 2-3 gens before I kill them. I'll try your solution - it seems good to me.

I do play only killer and this perk is honestly a high risk high reward which is perfectly fine. If you are good survivor and you can constantly hit greats - with hyperfocus picked it greatly rewards you, however if you equip hyperfocus and DO NOT hit greats - bad for you, you just lost a perk slot. Incentives are good enough - the problem is with score events that are ridiculously bad at the moment. I don't play survivors because it's unrewarding. 1250 points for sitting for 90 seconds? gruesome. Score events for survivors are pathetic.

20k prestige node should be the least of your concerns. WGLF/BBQ removal is the biggest problem.

If I manage to get a prestige for 1.5-1.6 I consider it to be really good leveling. 1.5 requires you to trick entity extremely well throughout all 50 lvls.

Your way of thinking is invalid. If I had a main just as you say, I would greatly benefir from the old system, since all perks I would have already unlocked. If there's a new killer with new perks I would lvl him up to 40 then toss away, and focus back on my main. Now I have to level up new killer to 50 and prestige him…

It's much worse since you have to level up much more characters you wouldnt like to play. Additional 10 lvls is A LOT at lvl 40. Another agree. killers took BBQ because of BP bonus. Side effect of this was reduction of tnneling and camping because they could see next targets.BHVR decided to get rid of it in the name of health of the game...

Totally agree - survivors are frustrating to play exactly due to reasons specified above. This role is not rewarding. Amounts of BPs gained on survivor are hilarious.

Uncap the categories completely but make the cap for total BP gained per match i.e. 64k (2x more than the old system since we had WGLF and BBQ bonuses removed) and increase BP gains overall. Currently the grind is just hillarious
