play another game on your stream instead of waiting while live for 6 hours

Of course it will be completly optional to use any kind of ray tracing, and gpus without any kind of hardware accelerated rt wont even be able to run it. So even if the performance is very bad, it can just be disabled in the settings. It's not like they're gonna make DBD only run on ray tracing, that would kill the player…
-
bhvr do be ddossing all of us
-
Dude you know both the ps5 and xbox series s/x has "ray accelerators" (which amd calls their cores for hardware accelerated rt), right? Also the gpu's in them are pretty good, above the average "gaming pc" gpu. (Around the same performance as an 6600 XT or RTX 3060 (ti?), or RTX 2070 super). They can run some ray tracing…
-
Thats just some rasterized reflections, proberly ssr. The problem with those "faked" reflections is that only things on the screen appears in those reflections. Here's a video to show what i mean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCXVG0Qw7Fo
-
Add "-DX12" to the startup parameters of DBD in steam.
-
The freezes and lagspikes is mostly cpu related, not gpu, and fsr works on most gpus, also older ones, so adding that would be a win for all players
-
You will need some kind of rt cores/hardware, unless u want to run with like 3 fps. The only gpus that has hardware accelerated rt support is rtx and rx 6000 gpus. They're proberly also gonna add DLSS and/or FSR to help with the performance drop of RT.
-
just be happy that you dont play against 3k-9k hour players basically every game.
-
They should just make it into two maps. One map with bottom floor, and another with the top floor.
-
Legacy players with above 7k hours.

-
The switch players can just turn off crossplay manually if it gets out of hand
-
probably your connection then. also, you pressed the botten really late, so it should've connected as it did.

I would say DBD has more bugs than Cyberpunk. I've first played CP a week after its release, and i have over 80 hours in it, and i've only experienced like 5 small bugs. It's still 5 too many, but DBD is far worse i would say. I also feel like CDPR is acctually trying to fix the game, with many bug fix patches. A good…
-
It's BHVR. Don't demand a big event if they can't even keep the current event bug-free.
-
Fun fact: In the early development of the game, pallets were bookshelves. They changed the bookshelves to pallets fairly quickly during the development. You can also see it in this video at 2:51 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNyZ1lWtCxM
-
you know it already takes like 22 secs for the killer to catch up to you after you've been hit if you just hold W, right? if anything, killers should get a higher movement speed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fv1rD82kmM
-
Reinstall drivers?
-
gl fixing bhvr's spaghetti code
-
Trust me, they already know DBD on a competitive level is boring and unbalanced, but they dont really care. They're balancing the game for the average player.
-
Because DBD at a competitive level is the most boring thing ever.
-
Im the one that commented this fix for Scott, and i've made multiple threads on the subreddit and forum, but nobody believed me and downvoted it. It's actually pretty sad, but im glad my fix is out now with Scotts video!
-
It might have something to do with your ping. I would say if it's above 80 ms, weird hits and so will begin to happen often. Cuz remember, the real latency is your ping + the survivor/killer ping, since killer hit's are done on the killer client, not on the server, so the killer client has to send the packages to the…
-
If you just think about the killer power, then 100% Descend Beyond. If you want a decent killer with good perks, its Curtain Call.
-
amongsus
-
And for the huntress hatchet grab thing, there's addons that reduces cooldown after hatchet throws. And the killer is probably experienced.
-
It's just something you're imagining. Your game is running as it should. I guees you're playing a slow killer (like hag, trickster or huntress), which will make you feel way slower than a killer like trapper. VPN won't change your movement speed, only the latency which ur pc receives packages from the server, and to the…

Dude i literally sent u a video of a guy adding DLSS to a project and showed how simple it is. I would say thats a source. And if you dont believe the performance uplift, what about you go check yourself? There's many benchmarks on youtube with it on and off. It's not very game depended, and you WILL AT LEAST see 80-90%…
-
And any other unreal engine game that has added DLSS with the plugin gets around double FPS, just like many other games. Some of the games that get the least amount of performance with the "Quality preset" gains at least 80% more fps, most around 100%. You're right about there's no linear line that shows how many extra fps…
-
Every RTX gpu has tensor cores. Here's video that shows how simple it is to add the plugin and enable it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JkHE48YptA&t= . The video is literally 7 minutes long. So yes, it is just "plugging it in". As said before, i have also done it myself. Just go to the unreal engine market place, click…
-
That's true.
-
True, false and false. DLSS is exclusive to Nvidia, yes, but AMD is working on a similar competitor to DLSS (They call it Fidelity fx super resolution), which is rumored to release by the end of the year. In a game like DBD, my GPU usage is around 70% ingame on ultra settings (1080p 144fps), which leaves 30% performance…
-
Well the new consoles (PS5 and the new Xbox's) also have hardware for acceleration of ray tracing, so ray tracing is also possible on those consoles. AMD is also working on a competitor to DLSS, which has been leaked to also work on the new consoles, so this isn't just something exclusive to pc gamers.
-
Well higher framerate also reduces latency. But yes, Nvidia Reflex would also be a nice feature for skillchecks and such.
-
They confirmed they wanted to add ray tracing in an interview ( https://wccftech.com/dead-by-daylight-will-implement-raytracing-on-pc-and-next-gen-xbox-series-s-runs-the-game-at-1080p/ ) I think ray traced shadows and lightning would fit perfectly into this game.
-
Well. With DLSS you're able to render the game in 1440p or 1080p and use Tensor Cores on RTX gpus to run the AI, which will upscale the image to your screen res (such as 4k). That will make the game able to run in 4k 144fps, since you're getting the performance of 1080p. This can also be done on like a 1080p screen, which…
-
Well there's not much of a difference when it comes to the game... The only difference is many pcs simply have better hardware. The game also lag sometimes on high end pc's, so idk why you're blaming the ps5 and xbox series x when its simply the general optimization thats very bad.
-
They know how broken keys are, and they're either gonna nerf it or completely rework it. I think they're gonna do a complete rework, but who knows.
-
Play some killer so you know how it is when someone on a team escapes just because of a key, even when you've applied pressure and killed most of the survivors.
-
One thing they're probably gonna announce the next gen upgrade to the game which will feature ray tracing (on PC and the new consoles) and DLSS on PC. BHVR already confirmed in a interview that they will add ray tracing and the next gen upgrade this year.
-
Try and add -DX12 to the startup parameters (only works if you play the game on steam)
-
Yeah they just put *space* as their name
-
Around 400.000 i would guess
-
Well thats how Deathgarden worked, and we all know it didn't go well.
-
It is ridiculous that devs still hasn't added an ingame option for DX12 which on some systems can fix stuttering and increase FPS with 80% in CPU bound situations. Anyways just add -DX12 to the startup parameters for DBD and your dropping frames should be fixed. If your game crashes while tapping out of the game in DX12…
-
Well if it doesnt, then tell me how it works. Because i'm pretty sure i have read too many articles about it already. And if you talk about DLSS, then definitely yes. Just look at Cyberpunk. With Max settings, the game runs at like 20 FPS. When DLSS is on, it gets boosted to around 55-60 FPS without any visual quality…
-
False. Around 100% more performance. And dont you think using 1 out of the 300+ devs to add this feature would be helpfull when it takes a total of 7 minutes to add? And when AMD releases their alternative to DLSS, consoles will probably also be able to use that feature. And IF consoles uses OpenGL to render the game, Mesh…
-
It is true and you can run the benchmark yourself XD (you need to pay for 3DMark) Or even just search for DX12 Ultimate Mesh Shaders performance test
-
Well DLSS 2.0 is very easy to add. But this will only work on Nvidia RTX gpus. Even if lets say 10% of the player base has a rtx gpu, it would still be worth it, considering it only takes 7 mins to add in Unreal Engine lmao. There's tutorials on youtube how to add it that takes less than 7 minutes. The reason they haven't…
