Typically the community becomes very toxic around Christmas, because of all the new players. The new players are frustrated going against veterans, and the more toxic vets come back because there are so many new players to bully. Legitimately should be a little less toxic in a month or so.

My best advice is focus on improving your gameplay instead of surviving. I play solo and you will go crazy if your goal is to survive, because you can't control that. Absolutely agreed. The actual mechanics of the game have never been more balanced than they are now. Obviously you could argue it can be balanced better, but BHVR is clearly having great progress in making this a completely skill based game.

I personally enjoying both playing as and against legion. I think when I play as legion the way I use my power can completely win or lose a game for me. Then, when I play against legion I don't spend 5 minutes holding m1 waiting for a chase, because legion is constantly changing targets.

The honest answer is to play your killer games between survivor gameplay. Playing killer is difficult and only made worse by SWF and an ineffective ranking system.
