I have also had issues on Xbox Series X, have tried restarting the game and console, additionally power cycling the console and nothing is working. It seems to only be a Series S|X issue as my friend who is on Xbox One was able to load the game fine.

Corrupt will still last 120 seconds regardless of if they don’t manage to down someone within that time period, it won’t continue to last an infinite amount of time.

Update: Had another error very similar to this one, that also stopped matchmaking from occurring, it was just worded differently.

The only killers that can still scare me in this game, after 4 years of play are mostly ghostfaces/Myers. But anything without a terror radius that sneaks up on me will always be terrifying.

No, the DC penalty is still enabled, just the penalty for the first couple times is quite little (5 and 15 minutes). This is in place incase they didn't DC on purpose and their internet dropped out. But it's not all that punishing and they can get back into another game quite quickly.

All that has been confirmed for this update, is clown rework/update, and now the asylum and game map updates. But it wouldn't surprise me, the descend beyond chapter is also being reviewed in the update, and I have a small suspicion that undying may be getting a small nerf.

I'd love to buy a PC and continue playing dbd, as I have before but have over 4k hours on Xbox and am not going to be starting from scratch. When and if cross progression comes in for consoles, I'll be ditching it asap. It's just awful and they genuinely aren't doing anything to improve performance on current gen.

The player base would significantly decrease, as many people only play because they enjoy playing with friends. Though they can be strong at times, it would be a bad decision for the overall health of the game.

It's honestly quite sad that the devs pushed this patch out the way it was, this is beyond ridiculous, it been 4 and a half years how is this still happening. I genuinely believe this has been the buggiest patch in this game's history.

I don't know about everyone other region, but I know for the Australian and New Zealand servers, queue times are instant for survivor in the morning and take about 10-15 minutes at night. And vice versa for killer.

I take it you’re a PC player then. We want the faster queue times, but if you’ve even played one game on one of the consoles you would realise how bad the FPS is compared to PC.

We want crossplay, just not with a platform that has double the FPS and better controls. Most (not all) console players feel the same, where Xbox, PS4 and Switch have the same issues, where no one platform has an advantage over the others. Thanks for your suggestion though 😊

The killer can see you names in the “pause” menu during the match and during the lobby before the game. All they have to do is click on your name and message.

Yeah I guess, it’s also quite a niche scenario, so it’s understandable as to why they made it that way. But you get my point how it can be quite annoying for the survivor.

Are you sure you have a 360 and not an Xbox one? The game isn’t available on the 360, to my knowledge. You can’t find the killers name during the match anymore, it got changed recently and you can’t send messages to the killer until the end of the match, when you click on their name on the end game screen.

It seems like everyone on xbox is seeing the blue line, so strange maybe it's platform specific. I know I'm seeing it in almost every bloodweb.

I got it as well today for some reason.

Stranger Things was the best DLC so far. Halloween is also really good because of decisive and the killer perks as well.

I feel like there was supposed to be a hotfix yesterday as they always drop 2 of them after the chapter and mid-chapter updates, but because of the offerings bug I think they’ll put it in the hotfix and release it ASAP, but we don’t know how long it’ll be till it’s ready.

It’s because getting the crown offers extra bp, to be fair it’s only an extra 750 bp all up, but it’s worth something I guess.

No he’s a licensed character, and I don’t think they wanted to pay extra to the license holders just for the crown.

You can use them just it won’t grant everyone else in the trial bp only yourself.
