Its cute seeing survivor mains or killer mains who think BHVR only screws over their preferred role.
-
Most killer mains weren’t even asking for another DH nerf.
-
With all due respect I do not think this is good for the games health. Penalizing killers for tunneling even more will not stop them. Giving survivors more freebies for making mistakes will not help the situation either.
-
I think I understand your point. Though I feel like we already have a killer that performs well in that kind of story. That killer being the Doctor. A remorseless psycho who is only interested in progress and experimentation. With no boundaries. In terms of a killer that hunts for sport I’ve always seen DBD’s Ghostface…
-
Thats an extremely simplistic way of interpreting her power. The concept of her power isn’t bad, its the actual stats and execution of it that make it horrible.
-
I personally believe that if the killer wants you out of the game badly enough it doesn’t matter how many BT’s, Decisive Strikes, or anything else that you throw at them. There are just some killers out there that are willing to sacrifice the victory to get that one kill.
-
I’m not entirely surprised that your games are going to end faster when they’re focused more on “fun” than “effectiveness”. Though I completely understand your frustration. The one of my biggest gripes with slowdown perks is when newer players aren’t given access to those perks straight away. Especially if they don’t want…

For Unitology yes, if you use the perk while injured you will be put into the dying state. For Skeptical Resistance it would be specifically designed to help counter The Necromorph, Doctor, Sadako, and Freddy, but the effects only work when within a close enough range. Plus you would have to be counting on one of them…
-
For the Untiology description it is in reference to the “secret ending” in the remake. For Skeptical Resistance it is designed to counter killers like Freddy, Sadako, and Doctor, but it only counters their powers when the killer is within a close enough range. Plus you have to hope one of those three are the killer you…

@Chordyceps My main thought process was “sure I get 25% progress on a gen, but now I have to waste time healing and I can’t even do it right away”. Would lowering the progress percentage make it more fair? Maybe I should add the “incapacitated” status effect along with broken.
-
@burt0r I’m imagining it would be a similar process to Demogoron and his portals. If the survivors are in the middle of dismembering a corpse (similar to closing demos portals) and The Necromorph begins to teleport to them before they can finish, then the dismembering process is immediately canceled and the killer appears.…
-
@burt0r Noted. I suppose the percentage for Adaptive Engineering could be changed to like 50% or something? (Also I haven’t compared these to the other perks currently in the game so I could see some broken combos accidentally forming).
-
@CosmicParagon Yeah, my killer concept is pretty much a Doctor and Sadako hybrid. As for the perk “Twinkle Little Star” I wanted to specify that the killer will still be blinded in the process, the only catch is that the survivor will scream (giving away their position via audio) and be hindered. The perk doesn’t prevent…

No longer depiping from a grade was a nice change that I am grateful for. However, just because a system was improved once doesn’t mean it can’t be improved even more. Criticism shouldn’t be discouraged.
-
I would take it a step further and have it destroyed on the 1st snuff. If killer Hex’s get taken out of the game after being destroyed the first time then so should boons.
-
I first joined the game when the Saw chapter released but yeah the game was definitely more rough even before that chapter. Especially with hatches. Perhaps its for the best we leave EGC as it is until the devs fix more pressuring matters. I really appreciate the feedback though!
-
Well my intention wasn’t to counter toxicity specifically (the t-bagging was just an example). As I’ve explained before my real motivation was to present an opportunity to make the End Game more exciting. I can see though that maybe something like the exposed status effect is a step to far. Idk it would just be nice to…
-
No its not an April Fools joke. I understand NOED would need to be changed or reworked for it to make sense. I just don’t see the devs completely removing it. Its not like them.
-
That’s understandable. The original concept wasn’t to give killer’s an advantage and that makes sense. My intention was just to find a way to make the end of the match a little more exciting. Even playing a survivor I don’t find myself taking the end game very seriously. Maybe its for the best it doesn’t get changed but eh…
-
Fair enough.
-
Are you guys seriously complaining about the Circle of Healing change? Really? In my personal opinion Circle of Healing gave the survivors way too much of an advantage. Even makes perks like self care less viable. The fact that changes would be made was inevitable.
-
Self Care is a pretty useless perk now.
-
Same goes for survivors. This isn’t a one way streak.
-
I don’t think you understood the point my post was trying to sell.
-
A map set in space.
-
I don’t know how this will stand with the forums since I haven’t been around for long but I personally think killers aren’t as scary or intimidating as they should be. When the end game hits there should be no time for dancing at the exit gates or goofing around. The end game should be tense and exhilarating. Unpopular…
-
DBD has always had camping and tunneling. No amount of nerfing or complaining is going to make it disappear. Its a annoying strategy for sure but its to be expected. Especially if the killer is losing the match very fast.
-
It depends on the situation. With all the baggage killer’s have to deal with already these days its not hard to understand why a killer might need to resort to camping or tunneling. If they have really bad luck or are up against a really good team sometimes they just have no choice.
-
Its “Negan”. I’d say if Negan was popular enough to join the Tekken franchise as a DLC he had a fair chance in this game. Definitely not as a anniversary chapter and I personally wouldn’t be interested in TWD as a chapter period but from an objective stand point it can’t be ruled out.
-
i have to disagree with that. Though I am personally not interested in TWD being a license thats not to say it couldn’t be one. We have plenty of human killers in the game already with no supernatural powers (Ghostface, The Pig, The Cannibal, etc).
-
The Thing
-
Well a coincidence implies that it was accidental. I get the gist of what you’re trying convey though. I mean BHVR can be very cryptic at times and then they can be very blunt. For Nemesis they straight up announced a Resident Evil chapter months in advance and then for Pyramid Head the anniversary logo was a big hint.…
-
I believe The Shape deserves a tome. He was one of the earliest DLC’s for this game and he has a movie coming out in the near future
-
The game was much worse back then, yes. As others have already stated though just because the game was worse back then doesn’t mean it doesn’t have issues worth complaining about now. It is healthy for a community to point out discrepancies and problems in a product. Especially one that heavily relies on balance and…
-
I think Alien might be difficult to request only because they will need permission from Disney to use the license. For Pennywise I’m not sure if Steven King has let any video game company use any of his characters yet. Chucky I don’t know enough about the license so I’d say sure on that one.
-
Leatherface does not need a nerf. Either you just had really bad luck or you just didn’t play that well for those particular matches. Removing a killer though for tunneling or facecamping is an extremely exaggerated “solution”. Lets be realistic about what BHVR should focus their time on.
-
In my opinion the anniversary chapter could go either way. I think there is a fair chance it is FNAF only due to popular demand. I understand characters like Jason are also highly requested but the problem is acquiring permission to use the license.
-
Don’t take this the wrong way but I personally don’t think representation/inclusivity should be a huge priority for BHVR right now. I personally welcome the LGBTQ community with open arms with this game (along with many other communities) but at least from my perspective the sexuality/gender of a character/survivor…
-
I honestly don’t think the amount of pallets are the issue (I don’t play the game very often so take this from a once in a blue moon player’s perspective). At least not yet. I think it just might be the placement of them. Would be nice if pallets don’t spawn in the same spot every match. So pro players can’t just memorize…
-
If I’m actually trying to win then no. Listening to music in a game where sound can make or break chases is a huge disadvantage.
-
I don’t see any scenario where COH is removed. I do believe it requires a major nerf though.
-
Thats a very delusional yet unsurprising thing to see coming from you. You’ve always been a survivor extremist.
-
If it is in the game there is no “wrong” play style. You are a killer. Not a babysitter. You are not obligated to show mercy to survivors no matter what play style you choose. Winning is winning.
