Yeah, exactly! Survivors and killers are both at a disadvantage without audio.
-
They both have their strengths and weaknesses. Detective's Hunch will show the majority, if not all of the totems on the map. Not only this, but it will give you information on other nearby interactables as well. You get no bonus to cleansing speed though, and you may not be in a place to look around and survey your…

Yeah, no idea why people put Doctor up there. Everybody loves to treat his Static Blast like its the main part of his kit and that it makes him low skill because he doesn't have to put effort into finding people when: A. You still have to actually go find those people. They can run and/or hide in the time it takes for you…
-
I'm not encouraging it, I'm pointing out a glaring flaw in your proposed edit that you clearly didn't take the time to think about. People would absolutely wait out the timer, keeping you on the ground and pressuring other people in the meantime rather than take a 10 second stun and then have nobody to hook.
-
Okay. They can just wait out the timer.
-
lol
-
This is usually pretty fun for me. Though I have been trying out different add-ons as of late which have proven fun as well.
-
I definitely think the horror isn't all gone. I mean, The Doctor is still there, isn't he? Look him right in the pried open eyes and tell me the horror is gone.
-
Freddy = Frederick Leatherface = Bubba (obviously) Myers = Michael Myers (with the ch pronounced as ch, not ck) Blight: The Dwight
-
Sure, Doctor's got an easy way to find you but the real skill is in his shocks, a tool not often utilized to its full potential because it takes a fair bit of practice to master.
-
Doctor, for sure. I've bounced between killers all throughout my time playing DbD but Doctor is definitely my true main. Dwight too, but I play more killer than I do survivor.
-
KILLER: The Doctor. The Doctor has been my main for as long as I can remember, though I can't exactly place why. He looks cool, his cosmetics are exceptional, his lore is interesting, and his power is fun to use. Seeing people flounder when I deny them a window or pallet is one of the best feelings in the world. SURVIVOR:…
-
I really like this! The mental image of seeing Charlotte sleepwalk by the gen I'm doing and hoping that she doesn't wake up is a very cool one.
-
You might want to add the fact that Hatch has collision even when invisible, meaning it's possible to find it at the start of the match with everyone alive and 5 gens yet to be done. Premonition also sometimes alerts you that you're looking at the killer when the killer is in fact behind you, and Mettle of Man is broken…
-
Making good plays as Doctor always feels really good. I'll always remember the game on Midwich where I denied a hook save through the wall with shock therapy and managed to end the game early because of it.
-
It's okay! I had to ask too way back when.
-
^^^ Totally forgot about Restraint. It's a VERY powerful tracking tool and has some viability in chase too as stated above.
-
This isn't a bug, it's intentional. You have to sacrifice a certain amount of each base game survivor, Dwight, Meg, Claudette, and Jake, to access them.
-
All of his addons are good for different things. If you like using your static blast often and effectively, go with Calm and Order. If you want to maximize his ability to deny survivors vaults and pallets, go with any Electrode and Discipline. If you want a mix then I recommend Order and an Electrode. Even the Moldy…
-
I definitely agree with Doctor being in A tier. His add-ons are (almost) universally good both in terms of mechanical alterations and madness afflictions, but normally not game alteringly strong. Even his iridescent add-ons I would argue don't swing the game too hard in his favor, yet they are definitely very good. He's…
-
This is so true. FINALLY, somebody giving Doctor the credit he deserves.
-
I think I see Tricksters the most, along with Huntress, Pig, Blight, Pyramid Head. It's almost an undeniable fact that the Twins are universally rare I've seen 3.5 since they came out. I don't see Doctors very often either, much to my chagrin. :(
-
I agree, and I can say for certain that they give a considerable edge. Every other game it seems I'm noticing my headset helping me immensely in determining where people are behind cover or in hiding. The amount of times I've known that someone was around by the subtle sound of grass or known that they were doubling back…
-
Doesn't Charlotte lose her ability to body-block after 30 seconds? They could just run up and take it couldn't they?
-
I've been playing since 2017 and I have (almost) all of them, not including the survivor perks that just got released with the Resident Evil chapter. I like to run gimmicky builds which means having a wide range of niche perks. I think I'm missing the odd perk on one or two survivors, but only because they're bad and/or I…
-
lol
-
Remember, NEVER help your teammates. If you see somebody on a hook do NOT try to save them, lest you get labelled as a LOW RANK SURVIVOR.
-
I actually really like this, in particular the concept of using his gas as traps being used to block objectives, not unlike Plague's vomit. It adds counterplay like that of Trapper's, where you can disarm a trap but you alert The Trapper when you do. This isn't even mentioning that it's satisfying from a lore perspective.…
-
No, thanks. I'd rather die early running the perks I want to run than die later running perks I don't.
-
Oh man, I know this one killer that you're going to HATE.
-
Doctor is fun to play against.
-
This is good in theory and adds an interesting level of play (such as using the fact that the killer can hear you to your advantage by giving them misinfo for example), but I think it overlooks the fact that A. Many people don't own working microphones that they could communicate with B. Many people just don't want to use…
-
Interesting. I failed to consider how BBQ can be dodged. Thrilling it is!
-
This. The fact that you have to shock so far in advance just to deny vaults due to latency or whatever is annoying.
-
I mean, MMR did just get reenabled? I imagine that everybody probably has the same MMR right now and are being matched up accordingly, hence the huge skew in experience.
-
I never knew that Restraint couldn't stack with itself. Odd.
-
Was referred to this post on my own post. I think this is great! I didn't even think about gen tapping when I made my post, but you're right. It's unfair that a killer can devote multiple seconds to an action that can't be done mid-chase and then have that action undone by a different action that takes not even a second…
-
And i dont think it just me, Doctor have most DC games of any killers. Play him for a while, you will see for yourself. I play Doctor almost exclusively and the vast majority of my games go without a DC. I'd say 9.5/10 of my games finish without a single person having killed themselves on hook or disconnected. About "badly…
-
Doctor. His teachables are meh and he's not top tier, but he looks cool and I think there should be more Doctor players.
-
> Sluzzy discussion
-
Spirit mainly. Surprise surprise, I like being able to play against the person I'm playing against. Just guessing and hoping for the best doesn't feel good. The fact that I'm basically always running gimmicky builds that don't include Iron Will doesn't help.
-
Hey, do you know WHY Scott says that solo players should be buffed? Do you know what his end goal is with that? Because you're talking like he said that they should be buffed for no reason.
-
I don't think that the fix for Pig should be making her traps more lethal. To my knowledge they're not supposed to be overly lethal, just lethal enough to get you to get your hands off of gens and into jigsaw boxes. The real power in her traps is the slowdown she gets from forcing people off gens with the threat of death…
-
You might want to try looking around with your eyes. That usually works pretty well for me. Moving my mouse around does wonders for helping me find people. Not to mention that there are more visual cues than just their bodies (scratch marks, pools of blood) and audible cues too. (footsteps, foliage rustling, etc.)
-
The chorus of screams when you hit the 3-4 people with static blast.
-
I most often let Dwights live. Have tp pay respect to people playing my survivor main. Not always though. Anybody who amuses me in the match will probably get hatch. Like if they turn and drop their item for me mid chase when they know they're dead.
-
Killer: If the gates get powered and not a single person is dead or death hook. I'll usually open the gates and sit still or chase people out, but only when I'm not having fun. Usually I try until the end to make the best of it and at least get a 1k. Survivor: When the killer is Spirit. I might try halfheartedly but god I…

A plague doctor skin would be SO good.
-
I just want more Doctor cosmetics, I barely care what. They always do amazing with his cosmetics.
-
Honestly all three of them are really good, but I lean towards Doc's menu theme the most. You can probably guess why.
