Agreed. Most of what's on the Bloodweb doesn't concern me. I have a gfew things I go after and that's it. Streamers, etc.
-
Yeah when I say "The New Matchmaking system," I am referring to the unlock for a wider range of ranks. Gotta "love" it.
-
Yeah I came here to complain and followed the advice on this thread about how to do it (including letting the animation play out, using Alert perk and being in line of sight of the killer) and got the achievement. I spammed the action, too, and there were many instances where I felt I didn't meet all the criteria, but I…

Ok THAT pug doesn't suck. That's the most adorable thing I've seen all day. It's just that all MY pugs suck. If that makes any sense.
-
350mb for two matches seems like a huge number, considering that if I stream a zoom meeting for an hour, it's only about 100mb or so. I've also heard in the past that online play uses less data than you'd think. I was hoping to pin down a more accurate number, but we'll see. If anyone else wants to chime in, please do.…

I purchased the Yui outfit when it came out and now it's gone D: Who do I cry to? Not buying it again :\
-
4th Anniversary Load Screen Quote: Relax. Enjoy. Have fun. And that's all there is to it, ladies and gentlemen. Win or lose, I always reply with "gg". It defeats the saltiness before it starts by showing that I don't really take the game so seriously.

I did not receive the cosmetic for Adam Francis after a match with gold glow active upon escape :\ MAP: Stranger Things lab Playing on PC EDIT: Also did not receive the cosmetic for Jeff Johannsen after a match with glow active EDIT #2: The cosmetics appeared normally on these two survivors after I restarted my game. yay!
-
But I didn't! I didn't feel fantastic! *dramatic wail*
-
Yeah, this is China Mainland community, so their names don't show up when your game is set to 'English'
-
I have noticed that there are a lot of people that annoy their cats between games lol
-
Same here. Except I often forget and then I'm only notified when my headphones tell me the match has actually started 😏
-
More variation means more entertainment. And if they entertain me, I'm more willing to lay down that money $$$ It's a win win.
-
That's another thing I didn't consider. Setting up multiple mori's during a match as random, or sequential or--even better--being able to choose which one you want to do either before the match or on the spot, like a skill check. I love all these possibilities.
-
How so?
-
I think you nailed it. DBD appeals to different people for different reasons, but I think it's safe to say that we're here because we're horror/slasher fans. And how they make their kills is something that interests us. You can come up with new survivors and new killers until you have 100 of each, but that's still not as…
-
Mori's, gestures, emotes... they could incorporate that all and still have room to throw them out as rewards. I like your idea. Especially emotes for survivors. People would throw big money at this game. The only obstacle to overcome, though, would be the idea that they don't want us communicating during the game. I think…
-
As a customization option! Brilliant idea. I love it. Why the heck didn't I think of that? And what's better... they could SELL that. Selling mori's. It's genius because people would pay BIG for that.
-
I'm not convinced that Remember Me would actually provide a lot of synergy when combined with Dead Man's Switch. What benefit would there be, given that Remember Me just increases the Exit Gate opening time?
-
Whenever I face a killer who seems to delight in being as creepy and psychotic as possible, this idea flashes across my mind. In my opinion, this feeling makes the game better! I love the idea of a real killer playing DBD... and then pallet-stunning him, hiding too well for him, or escaping through the hatch. Then, at the…
-
what have you done... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? shake I feel like I made this thread for this kind of response. Well done. I feel the same way you do. I don't take things too too seriously, so I felt that a little light-hearted "confession" was in order (even though I don't play like that, typically, nor support mean-spirited…
-
Note to self: comedy routine sucks. Start over from scratch.
-
Oh, I'm not being serious ;) Just having a bit of fun
-
Looks fantastic!
-
I do believe they actually play-test their changes. There's a QA department and all that. The goal they're going for might be something you haven't considered.
-
No one has mentioned this yet, but I'm thinking about how great it would be if survivors just couldn't see these spots whatsoever. If the breakable walls were Only visible to the killer. I think that ought to be allowed because how great is that? And, yes, especially with Wraith or Pig or even Insidious. Can't wait to see.…
-
Yeah, you're right on with the reskins thing. Like, I might want to buy Nea's neon jogging gear that's all pink and blue, but suppose I like that outfit, but want green on black? Just let me buy the outfit and then sell me cheapish skins for it. It could potentially multiply their sales of cosmetics exponentially. Don't…
-
Someone already guessed this, but I'm going with The Priest
-
No sir, you are not right. If players weren't quitting games just because they feel like it, we wouldn't be having this problem.
-
I never had that crouch bug happen to me, but, knowing DBD, it's just a matter of time before I get unceremoniously deposited into the dumpster by some element of the game code. More and more, I ask myself, "Why do I even bother with this game?" It crashes and breaks so regularly that I'd just have fun going back to PAYDAY…
-
As far as I know, it doesn't matter whether the survivors are awake or dreaming, the hooked survivor gets Borrowed Time when they are unhooked.
-
Not thinking only with my logical brain, but rather also with my sense of enjoyment and entertainment, I should say that, to preserve a sense of realism and to preserve the suspension of disbelief that occurs when our pulse quickens upon being discovered by the killer, when we race to unhook a survivor or mutter "come on!…
-
Looks cool. I'm in the camp of people who think it's prisoner-themed in some way. You can see the chain snap taut at the end, which means someone (or some...Thing!) is definitely attached against its will and looking to escape. Being snatched by The Fog is good for escaping... Plus, the archtype fits: The Prisoner / The…
-
See? Confirmation from at least one other person! Can we get more?
-
I know, of course ;) What I mean is that they can sell individual items instead of trying to come up with concepts for whole outfits and releasing them like that. Like a bald tattoo'd head for Jake or a dunce cap for Quentin. ;)
-
Freddy and Ghostface. I love Freddy because he was always my favorite horror villain, and I like Ghostface because of his ability to both sneak and move quickly.
-
I dunno, I think crafting might make DBD seem more troublesome than its really worth. I mean, if I had to start calculating the best combinations and recipes for crafting, and if I had to start collecting components from my matches, I might be inclined to just put DBD down for something else. I don't play for the RPG…
-
I almost got it myself, but one of the players saw it coming and disconnected to save his precious little Rank.
-
I know I don't need to rush, it's just that I do anyway lol
-
@Elvenmonk Yeah, I live in 成都, and not using the VPN, the DBD experience here (in-game) provides good green-coded ping levels. Sometimes a yellow, never reds. There's no lag problem for me. Where are you? The situation in another part of China might be completely different. In-game pings are fine over here. Now, the whole…
-
I am an American living in China and I play DBD religiously. However, I never use my VPN, I just play with local Chinese players, with pings of 20-60, never a problem. When I try to play on, say, a VPN located in Los Angeles or Hong Kong, my ping skyrockets to 250-400, which is basically unplayable. The DBD playerbase in…

I say nothing to camping killers in the after-game chat. I only talk if something funny or surprising happened. I used to get really, REALLY angry at that, and curse and complain after the game, but I had a moment of clarity that changed my whole approach to campers. My new perspective is as follows: I don't hold anything…
-
I have seen killers use Slugging to devastating effect. As a survivor, I can only admire the killer's ingenuity and then run for my life. It's effective! And because this game doesn't claim to be perfectly balanced, it's all good. As a killer, I sometimes use this method, but not often. But yeah, you wanna get in my face…

My Pretty Oni

What's his topping of choice: PepperOni What's his sandwich of choice: Bologna

No matter what you do in this life, there'll always be people there to tell you you're absolutely wrong for doing it. Weak-minded people trying, for whatever personal reasons they have, to put themselves above you, that's all it is. Good advice is one thing! A good thing. But talking trash because things didn't go our way…
-
I thought it was pretty cute. Nice little top there for Kate, gave me some incentive to include her in the rotation. I gotta say, not a big fan of that bright pink hat. Let's just leave it at skimpy top and not try to sugarcoat the dirty, dirty thing you created. Which is lovely, btw.

If they do make DBD 2, I hope they allow for all the progression to carry over. In fact, I insist!
