Matchmaking will probably be the biggest culprit. You'd be surprised how often a low rank killer will run into green ranks, or higher. Not just teams of them, but people powerleveling their homies. Neither one are likely to show mercy, or care they're stomping a 1 perk killer.

He has his shirtless skin. Merry Christmas, ladies. And guys, if they're into it. Haha

Survivors demanding other players play the meta survivors. Possibly even dodging lobbies because of a certain survivor isn't there thanks to roles being assigned. I can see a lobby full of 3 megs falling apart because a 4th one popped in, and the people really wanting to play to megs strengths wanting a healer claudette.…

In game? If we get bots. Lol
-
Who has the time for that? The survivors won't let it happen more often than not. Always rushing to get out. I would enjoy a longer match as killer, and survivor. As a killer, I need time to do stuff, and get points. As survivor I usually get killed quick and would like more time to get points.
-
Everyone wants to be stylish, and everyone deserves it.
-
Play a few games with both roles. Try out all the killers. Try out a survivor since survivors are basically cosmetic and varied noises. Once you feel like you have an idea of the style of gameplay you're going after, focus on that. Killers are going to vary. Do you like chase focus? Do you like setting traps? Ambushing?…

Charlotte may as well have one of those single shoulder red or black dresses, too while we're at it.
-
Well, this is going to be out of left field. Want to shorten queue? Make killers more fun. Hear me out. If killers enjoy their games more, more will play. More killers = more spots open meaning shorter queues in general. More killers playing = more killers getting good. More killers getting good = more killers across the…
-
Look at the bigger picture. Killers really got crapped on lately. Some breakable walls that do more to hinder a killer than help. Map reworks that screwed over Huntress and Deathslinger, and probably plague with taller obstacles at loops. Hag, trapper, and who knows who else that had their ability to place traps nerfed.…
-
I feel like matchmaking is the root of the problem. That and boosted survivors, and swf are screwing up the spread of ranks/talent forcing matchmaking to suck. If killers didn't have to deal with survivors of far higher ranks, survivor teams beyond their skill, and SWF gaming the system to power leveltheir buddies while…

Victor is a killer, not a belonging.
-
Absolutely. This is a horror game, and jump scares are about all it can offer for that since being chased doesn't really offer it with so many people good at chases, or even enjoying them. They don't fear being spotted. And if the new stealth killer can defeat OoO all the better.
-
Require risky teamwork? Lol No. She would just get blinded at every pallet, and window. And if there were coordination, pretty much every pickup, too.
-
Yes, killers sadly have limited ability to return t-bagging. Nodding is a thing, I guess. Plague can puke on the pukes, though!
-
The Flashlight burn prevents nurse from blinking, iirc. It's not quite as dramatic as burning a wraith out of cloak.
-
Because you have more to do as a killer, and people doing their best to make sure you don't have the time to do it. Survivors have surprising control over the pace of the trial.
-
Rats might be too hard to hear more than a few meters away, but along as whatever makes noise can be heard as well as the birds, I'm not bothered.
-
I would buy so many cosmetics if only they had good matchmaking. I just end up playing a few games, realizing they don't after dealing with people I shouldn't be facing, and go back to watching streams, and being on the forum.
-
It starts on the 5th genertor being complete, or the gates regress so they can't be 99d. I want killers able to open both gates instead of just the one.
-
It means the situation has gone awry, bluntly. They're slipping down the slope to a loss. Maybe the killer made one too many mistakes and can't stop the survivors. Maybe they chased the best runner in the match a little too long, or got stunned enough to lose too much time. Or a survivor ran the wrong way, or didn't mind…
-
My problem is we don't know when the key adjustments are coming. It was supposed to be coming for years. It could be years again. If they were coming in, say a month or less, it would probably have just been smarter to let them come together since the mori fix was so easy, so the wait is probably going to be even farther…
-
Personally, I'd want a survivor to leave as soon as they're able so I can move on and try to get more bloodpoints sooner. Sitting on the hatch is kinda rude to me. Especially if the match has gone pear-shaped for me. I don't fault you for trying to be nice, though.
-
Not sure why the old lighthouse even still exists after the totem rework. Planting them in obvious spots just ... can we not? They're going to be in learnable locations, most likely so making it even easier is demoralizing.
-
Key nerfs are going to be more complex so it will probably spend time in PTB giving ample time for survivors to blow through the rest if they aren't doing it already. Provided it ever happens.
-
It'll be the best year when the game doesn't keep filling my with anxiety when I play killer by failing with matchmaking. Nothing, and I mean nothing else matters if I don't want to play because I'll get stomped by higher ranked survivors. I might repeat history, feel hopeful, pop in and play a few games, then get reminded…
-
The results after a week of showing who's in SWF in pregame lobby. As a "test." It's just temporary. Stats showing how often there's a gap of 5 or more ranks between killer and survivors. And survivors and survivors.
-
I strongly disagree. The last thing this game needs is some bossy survivor demanding other survivors play a specific survivor, or they dodge. It's obvious survivors that can waste killer time the most will become as meta as perks that do the same. Run faster? Meta. Repair faster? Meta. Do some niche nonsense like sabotage…
-
I loathe swf as vs me it's just stomping a casual, underequipped, self handicapping player as they generally have benefits better suited to challenge someone of higher rank than me. From sweaty teams colors above me to an swf abusing the system so a higher rank can boost lower ranks, it's just nowhere near as fun as people…
-
I feel ya. That's how I play survivor, too. Not to the point I'll ignore gens, or rescues mind you, though I feel rescues are often better handled by others. Something about going almost an entire match, if not an entire match having never been seen by the killer is a double edged sword in that it feels great, but it puts…
-
Sort of. Victor holds the locker doors shut for 10 seconds. That's about it. Of course it can be interrupted. I don't know the finer details of this, though.
-
Wouldn't survivors with mouse and keyboard cancel out the advantages of killer on mouse and keyboard?
-
Unless it's %1000 broken, and/or can be abused, probably never. The last thing they want to mess with is gen speed, and movement speed... for survivors.
-
I believe it's the skin with the really narrow blade. Supposed to be some altered power drill, I think.
-
Heard it was the same for trapper, too.
-
I mean the lower your rank (legitimately) , the easier it is for survivors to be a Swat Team. A sweaty team of 4 green ranks is probably a joke to a regular of the red ranks, but they're likely to wreck a casual player near rank 18. Matchmaking is the culprit putting people against others that they shouldn't be facing for…
-
Huntress in a bikini.
-
Plus Victor's locker interaction got fixed which basically hurt the killer even more.
-
But it wouldn't be crazy to use them as a base for stronger bots, imo.
-
They have bots in the tutorials, and DBD Mobile has solid bots doing pretty much everything survivors would need to do. If the code from mobile could get applied, things would be fine. But like I said earlier, there's another reason to not get your hopes up over bots. The pvp scene is too strong right now. Bots would…
-
Yeah, the ft13th bots aren't perfect, but they certainly can get the job done. Wish they made a Jason bot, though. Last I remember playing Jason was the only way to play with Bots.
-
I appreciate the enlightenment. I missed this update during my break, the wiki doesn't seem updated, and it hadn't come up in any youtube vids I saw.
-
So if a killer waits out the DS timer, or the survivor doesn't try to DS the survivor keeps the use so they can use it off the next hook?
-
What positives are there? No matter what, if a survivor gets rescued before struggle phase you still have to deal with the defenses one way or another for an extra hooking. I don't give a damn what you guess. Keep the ad hominem ######### to yourself.
-
ok, please help me out here. I know I glossed over the mechanics of DS. how does this work because the wiki still reads that DS automatically triggers when picked up after being hooked the first time, you hit a skill check, or not, and that's it. Ds doesn't trigger again. I'm aware that it activates on other sorts of…
-
Again, it's going to be rare a survivor has DS going into struggle phase. Bringing that up is bad comedy. The odds of getting a chance to bypass DS with a mori is low. Unless the survivors go into struggle on their first hook, you still have to go through 2 normal hooks worth of defenses. Arguments that mori are still…
-
It means the devs are too cowardly to anger the SWF crowd. Matchmaking is just screwed thanks to boosted survivors/swf gaming the system making the spread of ranks screwed. They will spit ball matchmaking fixes but I wouldn't hold my breath on them getting it working. Ever. Killers smurf, too, but it's harder for them to…
-
What I'm saying is that it's rare for a survivor to get into struggle phase on their first hook. If they don't, they still have their entire arsenal of saves you cannot bypass with a mori. I.e. if a survivor is rescued before they struggle, and have the DS perk, they can still use it, and mori cannot bypass it. Using a…
-
Unless I missed something, that's only true if a survivor went to struggle stage on the first hook.
-
Not unless it creates a bug. It's pretty rare it happens though. Legion has/had one that increased mend times every time it was inflicted, upwards of minutes spent mending. I don't know what it is, and I don't know if it was fixed yet, but if you run it, you can get banned. Monto has a video on it on YouTube. Again, these…
