For those of you playing survivor lower than 100%, you're crazy. Learn at 100% and your looping will get progressively better.

In what fantasy world do you live where you think other survivors will be doing gens while you try to get MoM value? One survivor will be cowering in a corner somewhere or hiding in a locker and the other one will be randomly running around for no apparent reason. 😄😄

I hate baby nurses who never use their blinks. Especially when you're expecting them to blink. I mean if you're not going to learn how to use their power, why the hell are you even playing as that killer?

I've just never had a problem with HG as a survivor. Like, never.

I do well as a solo bc I nevwr relied on dh or ds. So while I feel killer has gotten stronger, my experience at solo and understanding how many other perks synergize allow me to escape a good deal more than survivors who only dpended on crutch perks and their friends.

Nah, as a survivor, Haunted Ground doesn't bother me. Devour Hope, on the other hand, can be crippling.

I find lightweight and overcome to be a fairly decent combo.

It does affect me, but it doesn't excuse my poor play or anyone else's if we're not using our minds. There was more than one point I was making in the post. 😊👍

That was my point: even before the update, survivors don't use their heads, even in a swf. It won't change unfortunately. I just don't understand some of the complaints based on how poorly some of these survivor play.

While as a solo survivor, I can attest that this update does affect me more than a swf (I do play with my son as well and communicatiin is key to doing well), but I don't think the update was meant to nerf US particularly. What I find problematic with other survivors is that they refuse to work on gens, even when one is 75…

This! I feel changes were necessary, but as one of his perks said it best, this game has become oppressive for survivors after the update. I truly feel the devs will need to reevaluate some of the buffs to killer. If I just bought this game to paly as a syrvivor, I'd quit after a few games.

I didn't run crutch perks and entice the killer into chasing me. I never relied on swf. As someone who could do very well as solo survivor (I've been playing since 2018), this update indeed has made it awfully miserable for us. I'm not complaining, but Jesus some dev at behaviour must have been getting owned as a killer…

When I play with kindred, all I see are two survivirs crouched around while a killer camps. MEANWHILE, I'm frantically trying to get gens done.

I also think it has a lot to do with the number of survivors who actually relied on a crutch perk like dh before it was nerfed into the ground.

I actually thought about this later. Did I actually try to open both doors with a gen remaining? It's quite possible. I had very little sleep the night before and I've been known to have rather large brainfarts from time to time. 😄

I got to a red envelope before another survivor and used it (you know, bloodpoints and all). She followed me around after that throwing pallets and vaulting windows next to me to get the killer's attention. She subsequently went down and I DID proceed to teabag her on the hook. It was immensely satisfying.

The date of the post is February 5th. Are you telling me that not one of those survivors has at least ranked up to copper since January 13th? 🙄

I used it just to test it out with the wiggle feature. I would never use it in a meta build. Most everyone is just testing it out, and, as a survivor main, I don't find it all that useful even after the change.

Yeh. I just stumbled across Dowsey's YT channel recently and I kept thinking, if he's bashing dbd this hard why is he still playing? Then I realized, as is the case with most popular content creators, you have to serve your viewers.

That quote by Patrick is absolutely ridiculous. If I run a killer for five gens or someone else in my match runs him that long, I certainly feel like it's a win. This most definitely should be included in the algorithm that calculates one's mmr. What is wrong with this guy. BTW..LOSE THE MAN BUN PATRICK. LMAO

Starstruck has never really affected me as a survivor. I've been downed once in the number of times I've seen it. It's garbage and a waste of a killer perk slot if you ask me.

Out of five games, I've had a killer (the chicken lady) who played fair and gave me hatch at the end and told me I deserved it. In another match I got tunneled by a trapper who shook his head at me the whole time for whatever reason (I still pipped). In the other three games, I did the gens and died on hook watching…

Why are you singling out survivors? Killers do it too.
