The whole "the date you saw spread around was speculation" feels very "akcshually" imo. like it wasn't some baseless rumor, it was based on an existing pattern of behavior, and even if it was just out of the blue, i would expect them to address it directly so that people didn't get their hopes up. oh well. it's a small…

huh?
-
better killers with cheaper licenses...?
-
two minutes?
-
rain world has a pretty good soundtrack. nice to listen to as an ambient album, but some of the tracks are absolutely boppin
-
if you're stomping the people you're playing with, why shouldn't you be ranking up to face survivors that are closer to your skill level?
-
their mori is... well, i'd probably get banned for describing it
-
the way i see it, if basekit bouncing knives have 1/2 laceration, there's very little reason to try to go for a bounce instead of just sticking them directly, so them being basekit wouldn't do much even if you're trying to bounce the knives around a corner, you're going to miss a lot more of those shots and for a lot lower…
-
people than run off-meta killers or perks
-
As of now, with the practice that people have with him, he's under-performing. But if his kit is kept where it is, and players have enough time to improve with him, I think he'll land in B tier
-
I still remember everyone saying how bad Deathslinger was going to be before he ended up being super dominant. I don't know if the same thing is going to happen here, but I'm comfortable putting him down as a middle-of-the-road killer once people learn how to use his power a little bit more
-
basekit ricochet could have 0.5x laceration on a direct hit, but 1.5x laceration on a ricochet
-
sounds cool, but it's worth letting people get familiar with him before anything gets done about his power level. the killers with the highest skill ceiling end up being called the worst at launch
-
woohoo
-
does this make windstorm base?
-
a) what does it detract from gameplay? b) how do decisions by the story team hinder the ability of the gameplay team? c) why can't good story or flavor be valuable in its own right?
-
kind of a sledgehammer approach imo. i'd just as rather nerf the crutch perks to begin with than to create a more artificial system to police how often they get used
-
oof
-
the best buff that trapper could get -- it's not like it would make him god-tier or anything, but it would open up so much strategy and really expand the probability space when playing as him
-
you could argue that tactical dc's aren't really playing the game, because they're an unintended mechanic that isn't within the game itself, but the system around it
-
Their Mori crashes your PC
-
and he probably doesn't put sugar in his porridge, either

it's total bs, so good thing it's temporary
-
what happened on february 3rd?
-
oh nooooo if you get a niche perk to a specific condition that involves taking lots of damage and slowing the game down another perk is overpowered oh noooooo i can see this being really powerful once you get to that state, but it seems like reaching that state would be more trouble than it's worth imo
-
what is this thread
-
it's weird, i always have the best teammates as survivor, but the worst ones while playing killer
-
As a killer perk, when survivors leave a generator, they get the Exposed status effect for a few seconds. A budget Iron Maiden that makes pressuring people off of gens easier / more effective
-
"There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain..."
-
The time that they could've spent making a good Christmas event will instead be going into a mega big Halloween event next year -- that's the promise, anyway.
-
Pretty wacky that Spirit gets more invisibility while not using her power than Wraith IMO, since Spirit's power is also a lot stronger
-
Perhaps it isn't blood that he's losing, but energy. Using his rush must be much more taxing than any other action, and he seems as if he's perpetually one dose away from crashing.
-
If you send ME a pack of chips I'll personally forward your idea to my dad. He works at BHVR, of course
-
like i could talk about the actual text of this post but all i want to say is that the term "killer shortage" is really funny imo
-
Only if having fun isn't productive. Which I guess it isn't
-
I've heard the complaints about profiles with single digit posts loudly announcing they they're leaving DBD, but this is ridiculous!
-
Slugging is currently the only good way that the Twins have to apply pressure. If their power gave any significant amount of map control or utility in chases, then slugging would be less necessary to slow the game down. By improving their power in these regards, slugging becomes less of a core pillar of their gameplay.
-
If we knew of somebody who escaped the Entity's realm, we would be able to figure out how much time passes there depending on when they went in vs. when they went out. If they go in and come out at the same time, that's a pretty good argument that the Entity's realm is timeless
-
Another small nitpick -- prehistoric describes everything before historical records were written, which is several thousand years before the common era, unlike the hundreds of years BCE of the Iron Age
-
It's all about those killer population statistics! Less killers, longer survivor queues. BHVR can't really do much about that, except lower the matchmaking requirements even further, which would create a much bigger problem in my opinion
-
Nice job!
-
Nice job on the adept! Great insight on the new perks as well -- while none of them are particularly top-tier, I never really thought that they were the hot garbage that people said they were, just killer/build/situation specific
-
Did someone come along and clean this up? What did I miss?
-
I suppose that this is just semantics, but wouldn't that be a high skill floor, and not a low one? As someone who isn't particularly familiar with the terminology of "skill floor/skill ceiling" this is a genuine question
-
Maybe something like Counter-Strike's new Retake mode could be cool
-
I see now, my bad
-
We do have the Plague, who lived in Babylon if I recall correctly, but I'm not sure why there's a huge gap between then and now in terms of killers
-
i'll definitely have to wait and see, but aside from it just generally not looking like my cup of tea, it seems like it's going to be another high-profile disaster like no man's sky was. only time will tell.
-
I think you're the first person I've seen on either side who likes how The Twins are performing. Crazy!
