I agree, it's crappy when people get a penalty because of the game but it's not too long. Watch a youtube video. A player shouldn't be playing if they have connection issues. Otherwise, it's only five minutes if it only happens once. It's not too long.

Here's a tip, throw on iri head and infantry belt. Hook a survivor and get 24 meters away them, hold a hatchet and wait for someone to save. Once you get the save notification, immediately throw your hatchet. If you're lined up correctly you should get a down.

False, there have been many instances where a killer can hook the last survivor and end the game but they force the survivor to stay an extra 4 minutes by bleeding them out for no reason at all but to be a dick.

In my opinion, survivors will never use hatch offerings. Increased chances of hatch in a certain area helps the killer, not the survivor. Unless the offerings are hidden, it is useless for survivor.

DS is needed in the game, if it wasn't then killers would have a field day tunneling and ruining everyone's game. Remove BT and DS? Say goodbye to the survivor playerbase. Could probably use a nerf though

On PC (and maybe xbox) maybe. On PS4 at least, if the achievements are still doable then the devs can't change then. Sony won't let them. For example, on PS4 for the "Skilled Huntress" achievement you must DOWN 100 survivors at a range of 24 or more meters. On PC, this is only 20. Sony won't let the achievement be changed…
