once again the same lame excuses for arguments: "solo q is horrible, we need to buff it without buffing swf" but when you bring up that tc/vc would equalize things, they respond with this "it's not gonna be enough to matter and would be worse for the game overall" just false "there's gonna be toxicity"' name a 2024…
-
i also found a squad with 2 instaheals and a loaded toolbox who responded with "what meta its random perks" kudos to bhvr for being consistent on making every aspect of dbd anything but casual im still gonna play this mode though because the pros outweighs the cons. the game feels fresh
-
agreed, i dont think this should be an unpopular opinion. hillbilly has better antiloop, no cooldown, faster mobility, missing is less punishing, and instadowns which means he negates bodyblocks and eats pallets. blight is 3rd and billy is 2nd on my list as well. honestly the overdrive makes him OP.
-
cuz theres no separation of ranked and casual queue and losing to things outside your control isnt fun
-
if there's nothing to break line of sight you're gonna die. if you're at the corner of the map you're gonna die. if you are going for a rescue and you get spotted youre gonna die in this instance too. if she walks and saves blink you're 100% dead. vaulting a window or pallet while she's watching guarantees a hit because…
-
name a popular killer without antiloop also all of those killers have counterplay to their antiloop except chucky who is getting nerfed anyway
-
i think itll work and be very fun if they let you communicate with your teammates, both as survivor and killer, via an ingame text/proxmity voice chat system. it's obligatory at this point because of classes for each survivor and special team buffs with killer combinations. also it's just gonna make it so much more fun and…
-
im on maximum fov and literally the same thing
-
this is not a fair comparison. your tier list considers the best addon combinations for each killer. when you look at the other tier list on the same website (link), it puts michael into C tier like otz. that's with mediocre addons.
-
cant have fun skill expression in dbd. every loop must be played the same boring way. hold checkspots and predrop if you're not sure. fun unintended things that are discovered by the player make the game more fun, that's just a fact. its not like hug tech was OP anyway, you could still play against it.
-
yeah wesker is overrated, he's good but not really. i mean he has everything needed to be good but he does them worse than the better killers his antiloop is countered by playing safe and predropping. this is assuming you either use unicorn medallion or golden egg. without one of those two he practically doesn't have…
-
the game literally boils down to whether your choice of killer can force predrops and skip the "hold W" part afterwards. no wonder hillbilly and wesker are the most picked killers. congratulations devs you have achieved true balance.
-
because nobody likes to play matches that are already decided from the beginning this is why loading with less than 4 survivors was changed to stop the game from loading there's also a human player behind the killer who most likely doesn't want to waste time in an easy autopilot game just because survivor(s) didn't want to…
-
it's also the objective of survivors to do gens and escape?
-
i would prefer instead that the killer has a way to quit the game prematurely for any reason just like survivors can. the perfect balance. if the killer doesnt want to play the game anymore he should open exit gates at any moment not just after 5 gens. this is also a counter to survivors giving up because you dont have to…
-
they're probably thinking of hook trade scenarios when the killer is camping a 3 gen and the survivor at the same time. it's not hard to punish hook trading and activate pop.
-
no reason to improve if the matchmaking gives you 10 easy games for 1-2 hard games it's designed this way to hide the balance issues at the top level because bhvr simply cannot balance the game
-
lets make it impossible for killers then balance from there (seriously)
-
i used the perk when it was 3 seconds and will continue using it. 3 seconds was usually enough to get to a loop. 1 second off 5 is not that bad. maps arent entirely weaker so im not sure where this fallacy came from. some maps are bad for survivor and some are bad for killer, thats how dbd is. if every map was horrid like…
-
curious how you see this as "sexual imitating harassment". this is the first time I've heard of the killer's equivalent of tbag called that.
-
every killer could be nurse with the lagswitch tech
-
dredge is the only killer that can apply IRL blindness to console players.
-
no but text/voice chat for everyone would ruin the immersion of the game. false immersion is more important than actually having fun according to devs and some vocal players. there's no balancing problem, swf doesnt give that much of an advantage, hud info is enough trust, dont do critical thinking.
-
ive changed many mains as killers got nerfed, buffed or reworked, but none have kept me as much as wesker. probably because he barely got changed since release and he's arguably the most balanced killer along with blight. you can snowball games and have flexibility on power usage but almost always there's counterplay. also…
-
i met that guy you describe yesterday evening, reported him and today i got a feedback message on my report. it was a hillbilly with legacy cosmetics who teleported and instantly downed and hooked us at the start of the game. idk if it is the same guy and if he's actually banned but he literally has a youtube channel where…
-
i miss the 4.5.0 ptb animations, it felt very smooth, realistic, and modern
-
why are so mnay people here against it solely because it ruins the immersion or toxicity? just mute, you dont have to be a part of the vc. yeah some teammates might get frustrated because you arent communicating, but how are they gonna tell you they're frustrated if they cant talk to you? sandbag? we already have that and…
-
here are some common examples that you think might not be significant but can change the outcome of the match "dont pop that gen yet i have adrenaline let me get downed" "my deliverance is active dont come" "let me tank i have OTR" "come to this locker i can head on" "he's coming to you from main" "he has undetectable"…
-
unlikely that they'll change the animations after 4.5.0 scandal
-
people already feel justified and it wouldnt be the first time they removed content. the current state of RPD is arguably more harmful than worth having simply because its licensed. a raccoon city street map would've been far better for DBD gameplay, not long unplayable corridors
-
same here chief
-
whats good about RPD
-
boring as hell. i can tell what kind of match im going to have just by looking at survivors in the lobby. that summarizes the state of the game. you should not be able to tell exactly how a match is going to go before it even starts. that is extreme repetitiveness almost insanity.
-
any means necessary but for destroyed pallets
-
when you pick up the survivor put your mouse dpi to max and spin your camera around and attack the air. this can throw survivors off on the DS skill check
-
chase music for plague
-
let soloq communicate in game with words
-
she would be a great killer for the reasons you mentioned. +1 from me
-
he's basically a repeat of old legion but not as big a failure. if you try to play him the ways devs intended (strategically), you end up hurting yourself because a guard hunt time is at most 10 seconds thanks to the stupid banner. if the guard doesn't spot anyone then you have no power for that entire patrol duration. the…
-
its gotta be wholesome pursuer. corrupt intervention ends up doing the same thing since survivors move closer to the killer for open gens. besides you can approximate the spawn location of survivors without any perk anyway. i've had trouble finding survivors at the beginning of the match only in horrible maps like RPD.
-
currently there are ways to beat proxy camping but most survivors suck at chases or are uncoordinated because they're soloq. those 2 are far bigger problems.
-
average wraith game: dodge swf lobbies → break every pallet and make the map one big deadzone → setup a 3 gen and camp it → start playing the game of attrition
-
the 2 perks despite being mediocre are licensed and if you wanna never spend real money on the game you should get them now and then get the 'free' killers later.
-
youre not the only player with bad teammates, accept it or stop playing soloq. it took them years to add the status indicators on HUD, maybe in another few years we'll finally get in-game text and voice chat. apparently it ruins the precious immersion of constantly screaming while running the big bad kpop star around a car…
-
i found 2 hackers last week. first was teleporting outside of the map and literally vanishing the prompt to hook a carried survivor. the second one was also teleporting and wiggling out everyone in like 3 seconds. first one got banned since. before this, the last blatant hacker i encountered was a speedhacker some time ago…
-
99% exits unless necessary and camp at the exit gate to heal others or waste killer's time
-
every match feels the same and i dont think i need to elaborate too much on this. there's a meta and you must play like meta slaves to win. the game does not reward you for picking underused perks or playing for fun. you have to optimize your gameplay as much as possible. bhvr needs to add something ACTUALLY interesting to…
-
name any simple pubstomper and toxic noobs gravitate towards them. chuckfuck, ghostface, freddy when he was pay to win, wraith, doctor, etc. stuff that will dominate average soloq teams. even though nurse and hillbilly are free and top 3 killers, you wont see them played by these nobodies often because the vast majority…
